Who knows? He shrugged and walked in calmly while the blonde receptionist smiled at him. He showed her the coin, and she continued smiling before indicating the elevator and floor.

Ringo wouldn't admit he was embarrassed when even the receptionist didn't change her expression upon seeing the coin and continued acting normally. - Seriously, in this shitty world, everyone's an actor?

Ringo, who was inwardly sowhere between embarrassed and resentful, felt lucky he was still wearing sunglasses. At least it must have helped him hide a bit, right?

Ringo brushed it aside and was guided by an employee who appeared to be dressed like a croupier to the elevator, where he ascended to the twenty-third floor. He exited at another reception area, and the croupier took him there.

He handed the coin to the attendant before being led to a room with a white-gloved attendant. He watched him for a while and was tempted to ask if the attendants here worked part-ti at casinos, but he finally fell silent, still irritated with the receptionist.

The pair sat on leather sofas in the rustic-style room with a blazing fireplace, and the man holding a tablet asked in a smooth, professional voice; -What will your code na be?

-Death Scream.

The man paused for a mont and typed in the nickna, which, fortunately, was accepted. Ringo had already thought of several nicknas, Death Scream seed to fit his "Esper power", making him more easily recognized and feared.

Afterward, the attendant asked basic questions like his phone number and email address, as well as if he wanted to add any private information. Ringo provided the phone number and email address he had already chosen and refused to provide any other information.

-Okay, you're now a reserve assassin, specifically on probation. The mont you complete your first mission, you'll be promoted to Scorpion rank. You can choose from previously posted assignnts, bring soone from the wanted list, or be chosen by an employer through your database profile. In this case, we'll contact you. - the man explained calmly.

-You can also accept private assignnts, but assignnts accepted through us will have a fixed 5% commission. You can contact the Vitória Hotel if you have any questions.

Ringo nodded calmly.

-These are the available assignnts. - The man handed him the tablet.

Ringo searched for the closest assassination assignnts and found three available at Star Dragon. There were probably more, but he couldn't access them due to his level.

He took a look and saw there was one to assassinate a gang leader in the southern district. The pay was 60,000, a little low, but it was just sothing simple for him.

The other two, one was a Star Dragon employee and the other was a wealthy woman, but there was no information about "cris." He didn't want to kill soone randomly, even though he can now kill without blinking, he prefers to set limits on himself or he'll end up a homicidal lunatic sooner or later.

Well... it seems he's already a homicidal lunatic.

He accepted the mission, and the man didn't even blink, despite the obvious difficulty and insufficient reward.

Perhaps the employer of this mission just wanted to harass the target, so he left the mission open for newbies to accept and irritate the target.

He also saw his own reward there, which almost made him laugh, wondering if he would get 10 million if he tried to turn himself in.

He used only basic information, after all, the target was a famous gangster. He rented a room at the hotel to leave his backpack, taking only a few thousand dollars, a gun with a few rounds of ammunition with him.

Leaving the hotel, he walked down the sidewalk when he suddenly stopped, looking into the store. He saw a mannequin wearing a long black leather coat, its a windbreaker. He stared for a mont, entered the store, and ca out shortly after wearing the coat, not only that, but also a black fedora on his head.

-I can already be in The Matrix.- Ringo laughed amusedly and adjusted his hat. - Or maybe Van Helsing.

He delved deeper into the alleys.

He quickly found the location in a low-inco area. The mansion was visible, full of ard guards. It was still daylight. Ringo didn't go inside. Instead, he adjusted his ears and blasted ultrasonic waves as he circled the grounds, mapping.

When the sky darkened completely, Ringo, dressed in black, used echolocation to evade any patrols. When they got too close, he changed the frequency to stun them. Not the kind that paralyzes an enemy, but one that leaves them slow and confused, as if they'd been working for days without sleep, too tired to process the information around them.

His movent was swift, and it took only a few minutes to enter. He climbed the mansion and entered through an open window. Once inside, he began searching again.

Listening to the conversations, he could tell who was an employee and who was a boss. He heard the target's daughter talking on the phone with her friend about a boy nad Jas she wanted to kiss. He heard the target's wife giving a blowjob to a man, probably a security guard, in a room not far away. Then, finally, he heard the target having fun with a maid on the other side of the mansion.

For a mont, he didn't know what to say about this family.

In any case, he approached the target. He could use Destroy, which essentially mimicked the target's internal wavelength, that's what he used to "lt" brains in Falcon's gang, but that would also kill the maid. He didn't know if she deserved to die, but killing her for being part of her boss's infidelity wasn't in his plans, so he used Paralysis.

Sleep would be the best option, but the target would notice if he started to get sleepy during such an "exciting" act.

The two quickly fell to the ground as he entered and stared at the man on top of the maid. The pair were stiff and spasming slightly, their eyes still open, their faces contorted.

Ringo considered how he should handle this and finally shrugged. It wasn't his problem.

He shot the man with a silencer and let him bleed out onto the maid, who would likely die when the situation was discovered. But he didn't care. His conscience prevented him from acting against the innocent, but it didn't make him a good Samaritan to try to protect the maid.

He could help this ti, but what about next ti? What about the next ti? What about after that?

He's not a hero, much less a villain; he's probably more of a rcenary with so moral principle, so... Deadpool?

Man, that was a real loss. It would be hilarious to wear a red costu and act like Deadpool, but then again, Han Xiao ca from a parallel universe, and there were several references to his original world throughout the plot, so he probably knew a lot of pop culture.

Imitating Deadpool is like giving yourself away and saying there's another reincarnator here, not to ntion the players who would easily recognize him.

Of course, they'd just think it's an Easter Egg, but not Han, he'd guess for sure.

Besides, this isn't a comic book, and wearing a costu like that must be incredibly uncomfortable.

It seed like too much work. Taking one last look at the bizarre scene, he shook his head and left, jumping out the window after confirming no one was around. He calmly left, staying away from the caras and the patrol.

After leaving, he texted "mission complete," and the attendant replied that it was under review. He returned to the hotel, heading to his room on the twentieth floor. He took a long shower, and when he collapsed onto the bed in only his pajama bottoms, he sighed contentedly. He hadn't had a bed since arriving in this world, he'd forgotten how much he missed one.

He wanted to eat, but at that mont, eating beca less important. He fell asleep anyway, without even turning off the light, sinking into his comfortable bed.

Ringo woke to the sound of his cell phone ringing. He groaned irritably as he reached for the nightstand next to the bed.

Picking it up and answering the phone, he heard a woman's gentle voice. - Mr. Death Scream, your mission has been confird. Do you have an account to which you wish to send the money, or do you wish the hotel to create one for you? If you choose the latter, there is a $1,000 fee for the service.

-Second, send the card to my room. - he replied with a sigh. He couldn't even stay groggy after waking up. He stood up, stretching comfortably, his bones creaking with a continuous sound.

-Okay, and besides, I must congratulate you on becoming a Scorpio-level assassin. - The woman continued in a monotone but gentle tone.

-Yes? Well, send so food too. I want a large roast beef sandwich with barbecue sauce, and a case of beer, cold.

The woman was silent for a mont as she said sharply. - I'm not responsible for...

-Just take out 5,000 for yourself and do it. - Ringo said lightly.

After another brief silence, she spoke, this ti more gently and politely than before. -Okay, expect your food and card in a few minutes, Mr. Death Scream.

-Okay, thanks. - He said and hung up, throwing the cell phone on the bed, before yawning and going to brush his teeth and use the bathroom.

Shortly after finishing to use the bathroom, room service arrived. He smiled as he grabbed his card and tossed it carelessly on the bed. Then he grabbed the cans of beer and the sandwich and closed the door on the attendant, who probably wanted a tip. He smiled as he took a big bite and almost cried. Now that's food.

Cracking open a beer, he tipped it back, tasting the malt as bad as he rembered. He sighed happily. It reminded him of the first ti he'd secretly drank a beer with his cousins, choking on the taste and nearly dying from coughing so hard. Those were the good tis.

He went to the balcony and stretched out on a beach chair overlooking the hotel's massive pool below, over a glass railing, and stretched out, eating comfortably. This was the life.

Anyone who wanted to be like Han Xiao in a workshop slling of tal and engine oil could do it, this was the life he desired.

He smiled as he ate his food. After drinking all the beers and eating the sandwich, he took a light nap, only waking up at lunchti, hungry again.
