She’s extremely stubborn
She kept on following them; she either could not feel anything or did not want to feel anything.
Whatever words of rejection they used, she did not seem to understand.
She kept on saying the same reply, saying she wanted to reminisce with Han Zhuoling and asking what was wrong with that.
It was as if she was never wrong, it was always other people who were unreasonable.
They did not even think for a moment that Lian Qingyin would e to their house.
Han Zhuoling frowned. “She is pestering me like a maniac.”
“It’s like she’s tailing us,” added Shi Xiaoya.
Lin Liye drew a sharp breath out of shock. Shi Xiaoya suddenly remembered something and said, “Auntie, do you remember seeing the photos of Han Zhuoling when he was still in school at the family home?”
“I remember. What about them? Was she in the pictures?” Lin Liye responded quickly.
Shi Xiaoya nodded. “It’s what I mentioned before. In every photo, there is always the same girl hiding in the corner and looking at Zhuoling. She’s in every photo. That’s her.”
Lin Liye took a breath. She was not sure whether it was as simple as liking someone and wanting to destroy people’s relationship.
Lin Liye thought she was a pervert!
When she thought about how she let Lian Qingyin e in and sit here for so long, a chill was sent down Lin Liye’s spine.
“How long has she been here?” asked Han Zhuoling.
Lin Liye counted. “Almost two hours. When I heard the doorbell and turned on the door phone, I already saw her. She seemed very courteous, saying that she was your classmate and had just returned from overseas, so she came to visit. She even brought gifts. Her courtesy was excellent.”
Perhaps Lin Liye took too long to respond. Lian Qingyin only knew that someone came, but she didn’t know who came back.
But if it was a guest, it should not be that quiet; they would be very loud at the entrance.
So Lian Qingyin’s instinct told her that maybe Han Zhuoling came back.
Nobody came even after she’d been waiting so long, so Lian Qingyin thought that they were talking bad about her at the entrance.
But she was more afraid that Han Zhuoling learned that she was here, making him turn around and leave without entering.
So Lian Qingyin could not sit still any longer; she could not leave without seeing Han Zhuoling.
She did not care that she was a guest at someone’s house. She rushed to the door.
She saw that Han Zhuoling was still there and she was overjoyed. “Zhuoling, you’re back!”
This sentence sounded so strange.
Even Lin Liye looked at Lian Qingyin, weirded out by her.
This made Lin Liye think that this would be what a wife would say to her husband when he returned home.
Even though she had that feeling, she had not been able to see anything bad from looking at Lian Qingyin.
She could not think that someone was off just because she felt strange.
People would say that she was overthinking.
But besides that, Lin Liye had still felt that something was not right.
She found out what was wrong very quickly
From the start to the end, Lian Qingyin did not care about Shi Xiaoya at all.
If it was not for Shi Xiaoya’s presence, just by looking at Lian Qingyin’s actions, Lin Liye would think that Shi Xiaoya was not there.
Lin Liye frowned, and her face darkened.
Lian Qingyin smiled at Han Zhuoling. “Zhuoling, I was here to see Auntie. I didn’t think that you would be here. We were just talking about you.”
Lin Liye smiled coldly. “We didn’t actually talk about anything. I was just listening to Miss Lian talking about things that happened when she was still in school..”
