The four young adventurers coordinated well, yet the undead creatures were tireless and fearless, soon putting them at a disadvantage.

Especially as night fell—

The moon ca out.

Under the moonlight's empowernt, the undead, like they were on drugs, suddenly exhibited fierce movents that had previously been sluggish.

Seeing that Barrett was about to be struck by the undead bear's claws, Luo Yan, who had been observing from the rear, finally intervened symbolically.

He casually raised a hand, and above his storage ring, a fist-sized, dark red fireball quietly ford.

This was a basic Black Iron Level Fireball Technique, with its power precisely controlled to match the expected level of an "Excellent Adventurer," and disguised as the ring's power.

"Whoosh—"

The fireball, with a slight whistle, traced a precise arc, bypassing the thick-skinned undead bear to hit directly the Skeleton Mage commanding the Undead Army from behind.

"Boom!!!"

With a muffled explosion, the Skeleton Mage shattered into pieces on the spot.

Without command, the remaining undead creatures hesitated, giving Finic and the others an opportunity to strike, dismantling them into remnants.

The battle ended, and the four young adventurers were gasping and still shocked. They exchanged looks of survival, and then, without prior agreent, cast respectful gazes towards Luo Yan.

With just one well-tid fireball, the battle was instantly turned around. This enigmatic "Mr. Colin" was perhaps much stronger than they had imagined.

Stealing a glance at the ring on his finger, Finic wiped the sweat from his forehead and spoke to Mr. Colin.

"Thank you... If you hadn't intervened, Barrett would surely have been in danger!"

Barrett bowed respectfully, his face showing respect without a hint of previous disdain.

Before, he had not thought much of this noble-born gentleman, figuring he only had his privileges because of ancestral legacy.

But now, he realized he was completely mistaken.

This gentleman indeed possessed a noble soul, worthy of his noble lineage... after all, he could have waited until Barrett was dead to act, gaining extra silver coins as a reward.

Ira, however, blushed as she looked at Colin, not out of admiration, but because she felt embarrassed about not being able to cast a single fireball earlier.

It's actually nothing; Luo Yan wouldn't laugh at her.

Even the best players in the Great Graveyard don't succeed in casting fireballs on their first attempt; most players only learn after many tries.

Overall, the night's battle was far more challenging than they had anticipated.

The four young adventurers finally realized that against a real Undead Mage, courage and dreams alone were far from enough.

"This Undead Mage's power might be even stronger than we imagined," Hunter Leo said in a low voice, cautiously eyeing the dark forest, "especially since the undead gain strength at night, making us too passive if we go in at night."

Ira nodded in agreent and wiped the sweat from her brow with her sleeve, tension evident on her face.

"Agreed, we're unfamiliar with the forest terrain, and our vision is limited at night, making it easy to be ambushed. Finic, maybe… we should wait until morning? Delaying our Academic State application by a day is no big deal."

Finic looked troubled, glancing at the Mill Master, who was nearly in tears on the ground, and then at his equally exhausted companions, feeling greatly troubled.

The Mill Master, hearing their conversation, looked like soone watching their last chance escape them.

He hurried over, clutching Finic's arm, tears streaming down his face as he pleaded.

"No! Adventurer, please, we can't wait until tomorrow! Every mont we delay, my child is in more danger! Who knows what that demon might do to a child! Please, save him tonight!"

"But…" Finic didn't know how to respond, when a steady hand gently patted the Mill Master's shoulder.

It was Mr. Colin.

He had sohow approached and, with a calm, convincing tone, spoke to the sobbing Mill Master.

"Don't cry; we'll go tonight."

With these words, not only was the Mill Master shocked, but even Finic and the others were stunned. They all turned to Luo Yan, their faces full of concern.

"Mr. Colin," Finic couldn't help but speak, "The forest at night is really not in our favor, and we know nothing about the Undead Mage's strength…"

Luo Yan's gaze swept over their young and anxious faces, signaling them not to worry.

"Today's matter will be resolved today."

For a re wandering ghost without recognition, it didn't warrant the esteed Lord Demon King wasting another day.
