Thus, the ripple effects of the storm transmit downward from the top of the Tower of Great Sage, quickly sweeping across the entire Academic State!
The commotion it caused was hardly lesser than the "reaction of the Solipsi people upon hearing the whispers of the Ancient Gods."
If previously, Prince Colin was rely a controversial and gossip-laden "celebrity," then at this mont, he unmistakably added the title of "Scholar" and even "Pioneer."
And this title was not self-proclaid but was actively bestowed upon him by the mages of the Academic State!

At the entrance of the "Magic Science" laboratory, the not-so-spacious corridor was almost bursting by apprentices who ca due to its reputation.

Before the bewildered young man could take it, a strong mage squeezed in, eagerly saying.
"Look at mine too! See my resu; Master Colin's argunts on 'chanics' coincide with my previous research on Strength-Enhancing Magic Array! I swear, I could surely beco his most reliable assistant!"
Jamie opened his mouth wide but was speechless.
He couldn't comprehend what this "coincidence" was exactly about; surely it can't be a coincidence just because the nas are similar?

On the other side, Lam was surrounded by several female apprentices, resus filled with formulas and chanical blueprints were handed to her like snowflakes, overwhelming her.

The girl who seed to be a senior widened her eyes, retracting her resu while suspiciously scrutinizing Lam up and down.

Lam stamred unable to speak, the overbearing gaze was too intense, making the naturally timid Lam shrink even further.
"Everyone, please return for now!" Jamie stepped forth at this mont, shouting with all his might towards the crowd, "The laboratory has no plans to recruit new apprentices temporarily! Master Colin doesn't have ti to look at resus... if there's any expansion plan, His Highness will announce it!"
He paused for a beat before shouting again.
"If you truly wish to join His Highness's lab, why not experience his classes first and see if you can accept his teachings... Moreover, we were actually recruited from Prince Colin's class; I highly recomnd you do the sa!"
Given his understanding of Prince Colin, the prince seems to prefer discovering talent personally rather than waiting for resus to be delivered.
Upon hearing this, so apprentices at the laboratory entrance finally began to disperse.
Though it wouldn't be long before a new batch would gather again, repeating the scene that just played out.

Not everyone traveled long distances just out of yearning for "Science," many ca rely because Prince Colin holds a promising Void Realm resource, hoping to squeeze into the lab and earn so credentials, maybe even get a co-authored na on a paper.
Watching the disappointed figures depart, Lam couldn't help but whisper to Jamie beside her, "I feel like this is even busier than the registration for the 'Wise Man's Trial' every year."
Jamie nodded in deep agreent, his face full of sentint.
"Indeed..."
The Wise Man's Trial registration occurs shortly after apprentice recruitnt, mainly aid at graduates leaving the various Mage Towers.
Although newly arrived to the Academic State, they are ineligible to participate, yet caught sight of the spectacular crowd from afar.
It truly feels like thousands of troops crossing a single-log bridge...

The fervor at the "Magic Science" laboratory was only the beginning, quickly spreading to the "Science" class of Prince Colin.
The classrooms, once slightly deserted due to "Master Colin's generosity with credits," were filled once more with bustling crowds, now so exaggerated that seats were hard to co by.
The spacious classroom was nearly overcrowded to the point of having no room left.
Each class saw hundreds of students arriving an hour early to secure a seat up front. As all the hallway spots were soon occupied, the classroom window sills were also overtaken by eager students, almost to the extent of standing outside the windows.
