As Sarah left the Magic Potion Classroom, on the second floor of Colin Tower, within the newly established 178th Void Realm experint area, preparations for a Void Realm exploration experint were in full swing.
The migration of the Void Realm was finally complete.
rk stood tensely and awkwardly in a corner of the hall, feeling out of place with the surrounding atmosphere, yet he maintained his solemn stance.
Charged with the orders of Professor Arist, he had co to observe Colin's experintal process, learning and docunting every detail of the prince's interference with the Void Realm.
However, deep within rk's heart, he felt a faint sense of gratitude and apology towards Colin's willingness to let a "failure" like himself co as an observer.
Perhaps Prince Colin actually knew his motives weren't pure, but he still accepted him generously and kindly.
Is this the magnanimity of a Prince of the Empire...
rk murmured to himself.
In stark contrast to rk's nervousness were the group of Luo Yan's assistants, led by Miller, who were imrsed in the excitent of exploring the unknown world.
A dozen assistants wearing Mage Robes were thodically shuttling between the enormous Magic Arrays, each fulfilling their duties.
The entire hall on the second floor of Colin Tower had effectively turned into a precise and efficient "command center."
Unlike rk's researchers, these equally young assistants showed no signs of tension or the fear of a looming enemy, but rather, they exuded a sense of optimism.
It was as if the waters they were about to sail into were not unknown, but a New World rich with Gold, waiting for them to claim endless treasures.
Remarkably, they had never been there, yet it seed they had already envisioned the outco of this "expedition."
"Mr. Miller," an assistant responsible for energy supply loudly reported, "The magic power output at Node Seven has been calibrated, with fluctuation rates under three per thousand, eting the launch standards!"
"Great!" Miller, standing in the main Casting position, responded loudly, quickly recording paraters on the notepad in his hand, and without looking up, ordered another group, "Rune circuit inspection group, double-check to ensure there's no risk of energy overflow!"
"Circuit inspection complete! Everything is normal!"
These exchanges were succinct and professional, brimming with enthusiasm for exploration.
rk watched from the side, his heart filled with a mix of emotions.
He could sense these people genuinely believed in their Master, believed Prince Colin could lead them to success.
Not only did they not harbor any fear of the unknown, but were also full of anticipation for the exploration about to begin... just like devout believers awaiting the next "miracle."
This optimistic atmosphere made rk feel a touch of genuine jealousy.
He couldn't quite tell if he was envious of Prince Colin for having such motivated assistants or regretting that he didn't belong here.
"Master rk, what is the current situation with the 178th Void Realm?" Luo Yan suddenly shifted his gaze from the Magic Array and looked at Master rk standing beside him.
Upon hearing this unexpected inquiry, rk froze slightly, then showed a bitter smile and sighed.
"It's very bad, Your Highness. The entire Void Realm passage feels like a fleeting wandering soul, always on the verge of getting lost in the infinite Void. All we can do is maintain observation and... pray that this parting mont cos a bit later."
rk had expected the prince to show a grave expression, even prepared to be mocked or ridiculed by him.
However, to his surprise, the prince not only did not bla him but instead smiled and said.
"Isn't that fine? We can still receive information from beyond the Void Realm, indicating things aren't at their worst yet."
rk was startled, confusedly looking at the young prince, unable to grasp the aning behind those words: "…Could there be a worse situation?"
"Of course."
Luo Yan replied without hesitation.
"Especially when you bestowed Divine Authority to that Gray Man nad Kael."
rk's breathing halted slightly, taking a long ti before squeezing out a tough sentence.
"I don't understand where exactly it went wrong—"
"Of course, it went wrong from the start."
Seeing the yearning for truth behind those eyes, Luo Yan left him no room, bluntly saying.
"You placed a rat on the King's throne, and the fate of this pawn was dood from the start."
This sharp criticism made rk's complexion change dramatically, opening his mouth but finding he could not refute.
Kael was indeed a rat, one he personally picked from the garbage dump... but the problem was, didn't he have no choice?
That was the only Gray Man who could hear their voices at the ti.
Of course, he did not deny that perhaps the prince was right...
rk took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the reluctance in his heart, squeezing out a stiff smile as he awkwardly shifted the topic.
"Then... what should we do now?"
Luo Yan smiled and said, "It's simple. Since the Void Realm passage hasn't completely collapsed, it ans that on the other side's tiline, there still exists a trace of 'yearning for us.'
"Yearning?"
rk furrowed his brow in confusion, speaking softly.
