The villagers standing next to the man imdiately lunged forward, scrambling for his weapon, struggling to wrest the firearm from his hands.
"Have you lost your mind?!"
"Put the weapon down now!"
"The ones who've lost their minds are you!" the man roared, gripping the firearm tightly and refusing to let go until he was knocked to the ground with the butt of a gun.
"No—!" Seeing her father knocked to the ground, Maggie let out a mournful cry, her eyes turning red.
"Calm down, Dave! That's a demon's illusion!"
Brook grabbed the man's collar forcefully, hoisted him up from the ground, and roared furiously, spitting with anger.
"These demons are flesh-eaters who leave nothing behind! Look at their rosy faces, and then look at your own! Does that look like soone who's been in the snow all day? Wake up! Your child is already dead!"
This was not just his belief but also the first reaction of everyone present.
Hearing the sound coming from the Translation Crystal, Shark East and West, flying behind the two children, suddenly revealed a surprised expression.

Maggie stared blankly at Uncle Brook who was roaring, her face full of sorrow.

The man had deep purple hair, sharp and cold eyes, a face so chiseled it seed almost inhuman, and a straight nose akin to a castle's spire.
The fluttering snowflakes seed nonexistent to him; they vanished upon touching his shoulders, their whereabouts unknown.
The mont he saw that face, Brook felt every single hair on his body stand on end, an all-encompassing fear crawling through his being.
The intuition of a forr adventurer told him that even with a hundred—or even a thousand—of himself, there was no chance of defeating the man before him!
This guy was terrifyingly powerful!
As the Lord Demon King suddenly appeared on the wall, the players' expressions varied. So showed a look of mild amusent, so had eager anticipation, and others cried out in surprise.

Andy and Maggie stared in awe at the man on the wall, their bewildered faces revealing a hint of fear, behind which lurked an unexpectedly deep sense of reverence.
