The office on the third floor of the Sawtooth Chamber of Comrce was now a complete wreck.

Grock knelt on the ground, trembling all over.
Looking at the almost destroyed office, then at the surge of fury coming through the night, unprecedented fear appeared on his face.
He finally understood.
Why the Demon King kept him until now.
The master was not afraid to kill him, not because he cared about the Dragon family behind him, but to keep him as bait to drag the Dragon family into the mire, and let him take the fall after everything ended.

As soon as he finished speaking, he slamd the Double-edged Battle Axe in his hand onto the floor, the massive impact causing the entire ground to tremble, dust falling down.
Grock's face turned pale instantly, his lips trembled so much he couldn't utter a word, backing away in panic.
He must escape!
He couldn't die here!
Driven by the instinct for survival, he finally moved his legs, stumbling and turning to run away.
Blood Blade Demon General Glak watched the fleeing goblin with a mocking gaze, like looking at a corpse, not even bothering to chase, just resting the Battle Axe on his shoulder.

With a shout, several sturdy ropes suddenly looped around Grock's neck and limbs, dozens of goblins working together, dragging him to the end of the alley towards a rusty street light pole.
