Now reading: Chapter 765 - 250: He Is Everywhere4 from The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!, a Action novel by Morning Star Ll.

The lifespan of a Demon is too long. To change one person on a chair might take over a hundred years.

The fall of a Dragon family at least clears up hundreds of chairs symbolizing power!

If the Magic Crystal Cannon Factory in Black Wind Castle is just a piece of cake, then this would be hundreds of barns.

As for Seldo Port?

What use is that even if captured, to trade with humans?

It would still need a reckless Demon King to guard it!

The atmosphere in the eting room was uncertain, with so hesitating and others sharpening their knives.

Goliath Soren remained silent, seemingly weighing pros and cons for a long ti.

Finally, perhaps having made up his mind, he slowly raised his head, the cold Soul Fire flickering slightly.

"Whether it's the Family Head or the black hand behind the scenes... they must pay for their stupidity!"

His voice echoed like from a grave, devoid of any emotion, "Since Zakro Dragon is suspected of being involved, then arrest him as well!"

The eting hall suddenly fell silent, followed by a murmur of whispers.

A mont later, Karamos smiled, as if he had expected this answer.

"...Since the Minister of Religion has spoken, this matter will be easier to handle."

He clapped lightly, a playful smile on his face.

"Now, the matter is how to execute the arrest. If no one objects, the Military Intelligence Departnt is willing to serve, after all, it involves frontline troops—"

Goliath Soren slowly stood up, coldly scanning the crowd, his undeniable voice said.

"This is a betrayal of Lord Demon God. It should be the Truth Departnt to act, sending Judgers to punish the traitors of Hell."

Karamos squinted and then chuckled lightly, "Oh? Then it seems this matter is settled."

Goliath Soren did not reply, just slowly turning, his figure turning into a wisp of cold Soul Fire, disappearing into the air.

In the eting hall, the ministers exchanged complex glances, silently conveying their opinions.

At that mont, the closed eting room of Demon City had already made a decisive judgnt—

Betrayers were about to et their end!

anwhile, in the central Temple of Demon City, a long, deep funeral bell tolled slowly under the moonlight, its solemn sound echoing through the quiet streets. Hearing the solemn bell sound, passing pedestrians stopped in their tracks, casting surprised and reverent glances toward the central Temple of Demon City.

Guided by the bell, Death Knights in armor stepped out slowly, wearing battle armor engraved with ancient runes, their helt-covered Soul Fire flickering silently like warhorses galloping on the battlefield!

Behind them, the red-robed Judgers had faces as serious as water, exuding an overwhelming aura.

The Demons and Undead along the way stepped aside, bowing their heads to avoid the blinding Magic Light.

Murmurs of discussion spread through the crowd.

If the Truth Departnt takes action at this ti, it can only be for one thing without a doubt...

The Dragon family is likely to be dood!

Above Demon City, the Purple Crystal Do was flickering with an erratic light, like the eyes of the Demon God.

anwhile, on Elm Street in the West District of Demon City, Luo Yan entered the temple where Priest Geoffrey worked, carrying pastries and fruits bought on the way.

Just in ti for the end of prayer, the children were playing beneath the Demon God Statue.

Seeing Luo Yan entering the church with the gifts, the eyes of those Sli, Tentacle Monster, and other Demon children lit up, all rushing forward in a swarm.

"It's the Demon King!"

"Oh, oh, oh! The Demon King is here! We're saved!"

"Big bread! Big bread! It's mine!"

"Quick! Soone play the Hero!"

"Why ?"

"Because you look the most like a human!"

"But, but the Demon King looks quite like one too."

"Silence! Our respected Lord Demon King is obviously the highest-level Demon! Drag him out!"

"Alright, alright, go play elsewhere, don't disturb Mr. Luo Yan."

Looking at the noisy children, the Demon Nun quickly ca over, apologetically glanced at Luo Yan, and then pulled the children to the dormitory next door.

"No problem, I see they're having fun, no need to disturb them... By the way, could you help take these things to the kitchen?"

Spirit smiled and held back the demon nun, handing her the large and small bags in his hands along with the sli cub trying to eat him from his shoulder.

"I really apologize... I've troubled you again," the demon nun said apologetically as she received the items.

"It's nothing, rather I'm the one troubling you," Spirit said with a smile, waving his hand before coaxing away the little ones clamoring to play the Demon King's servants, and heading to the end of the rows of benches.

Priest Geoffrey was sitting on the bench, quietly praying facing the Demon God Statue.

Looking at Spirit sitting beside him, the wrinkled face showed a kind smile.

"You're here, how have you been lately?"

Spirit replied with a smile.

"I've been good, I was quite busy earlier, I just got so free ti and thought of coming to see you. How have you been?"

Priest Geoffrey smiled and said.

"I have always been well, especially seeing you've finally grown up. I feel much more at ease."

Spirit rubbed his nose in embarrassnt.

"Sorry for troubling you."

"It's not trouble, but my wish, and of course, your mother's wish..." Priest Geoffrey shook his head, looking at the statue ahead, as if silently communicating with a Demon God that only he could see.

Spirit didn't speak, just quietly accompanying this elderly man. Youyou floated nearby, curiously observing this temple... It had always been interested in it, perhaps wanting to get one for itself.

Suddenly seeming to rember sothing, Priest Geoffrey smiled and said in a soft voice.

"By the way, I almost forgot to tell you sothing."

Spirit asked with interest.

"What is it?"

Priest Geoffrey smiled and said.

"Do you rember when you were little, I always wanted you to inherit this temple?"

Spirit was slightly stunned, responded with mixed emotions.

"You wouldn't still be thinking about that, would you?"

"I gave up on you long ago," Priest Geoffrey said with mock annoyance, then paused for a mont and continued with a grateful tone, "But recently, I found another child suitable to inherit this temple."

"Is it that child?" Spirit turned and looked at the child who looked most like a human.

Rather than rely resembling, he was human, except his relatively rare red eyes for humans.

"Yes." Priest Geoffrey nodded with a smile.

He had once planned to pass the temple to Spirit's mother, but many things happened later.

"That's wonderful," Spirit sincerely congratulated him, as he had no interest in life within the temple.

Priest Geoffrey glanced at Spirit, pondered for a mont, and suddenly spoke.

"Do you know why most of the acolytes in the Demon City Temple are human?"

"To find stable jobs for the protected animals?" Spirit said offhandedly.

"You're speaking nonsense again," Geoffrey glared at him before clasping his hands in front of him, his face devout, making a praying gesture, slowly continued, "…because that was our original form. Long, long ago, we once shared the sa body, sa face, even the sa soul."

During his studies at the Demon King Academy, Spirit had heard similar theories—

In a ti more distant than the First Epoch, whether goblins or demons, whether Imperial people or Campbell people, they were all the sa ancient humans.

But as ti passed, through the combined effects of countless subconscious and conscious thoughts, so gradually changed into different forms and ford new groups.

This is what is called the appearance born of the heart.

But in the end, that was just one of many theories; no one knows the truth.

Priest Geoffrey continued in a devout voice.

"…To stabilize our spirit, to keep our consciousness from drifting in the boundless sea, to prevent us from being banished into the void by ever-expanding ambitions. Thus, He was born, as our anchor, our mirror, our soul… to lead us toward the future we aspire."

Spirit pondered and asked.

"Then where is He?"

Priest Geoffrey faintly smiled, glanced at the lively temple, and then cast his gaze outside the window, providing an answer that seed both definite and ambiguous.

"He is everywhere."
