"Who knows, maybe they're worried about being captured by the opposing side."
Or maybe the dog developer wanted to give them so ga experience, after all, if those tanks had rolled over, the opposing side would probably turn tail and run, lacking even the courage for a charge.

This war had no suspense from the start, how to win was entirely up to Lord Demon King.
Perhaps that lord just wanted to test the new equipnt of the Great Graveyard; maybe aiding the Sand Ridge Clan was just a side thing.
Given the advancing speed of these primitive people, even if the Sand Ridge Tribe was weak and couldn't withstand a push, they would surely fall right in front of Assam City.
The Demon King Army could completely ignore this hundred thousand strong army, directly strike the heart, capture the false king, and take Assam City... By then, this 100,000 expeditionary army would only have the option to surrender.

However, as the saying goes, fear what you predict, and perhaps the dog developer heard their conversation and decided to crank up the intensity, as a new situation erged on the not-so-distant hill.

A Gatling gun suddenly stalled, the muzzle that had been spewing fire fell silent, leaving the bewildered player spinning the unresponsive crank.
Soon after, the second Gatling also belched black smoke, sputtered twice, then jamd completely. The Skeleton crouching behind patted the chassis in confusion, then tapped the magazine, like fixing a television.
"Damn! It's jamd again!"
One Mouthful of Chemical Pool's raspy voice rang from afar, shouting angrily at the two failing newbies, "What's happening?! What are you guys doing?!"
The newbie crouched in front of the Revolver Machine Gun looked at him helplessly, squeezing out a line after a long while.
"I don't know!"

Cursing as he might, he couldn't just wait idly, so he tossed the machine gun in his hands to the newbie rubbing their hands waiting by, and sprinted madly towards the machine gun position beside.
