Bags of grain were neatly piled up, and the boxes were filled with dried fruits, vegetables, wooden planks, nails, and even a few sacks of salted dried fish.

A total of about twelve tons of supplies.

Enough to support their return voyage!

"In total, two hundred and seventy silver coins." Kedson spread his hands, speaking calmly, "This is Baron Ticky's quote, the goods were all hauled out from his castle."

Derek glanced over. The price was high, but it wasn't exorbitant.

Considering that this place was far from the Empire's main trade routes, making transportation difficult, and since it wasn't his money, he nodded decisively and signaled the quartermaster to hand over the money pouch.

The transaction was completed smoothly.

"When will the ship repair technicians arrive?" After checking the supplies, Derek continued to ask.

"Soon," Kedson replied while counting the silver coins, "Baron Ticky said he's already sent a ssenger to call people from the Gutaf United Kingdom, they should arrive shortly."

"...What?"

Derek was stunned.

"You're saying, having... the locals repair the ship?"

Kedson shrugged, wearing an expression of "I'm just the ssenger": "Yes, the baron said they 'have people who understand' over there."

Obviously—

This Imperial citizen also found it unreliable.

Derek's mouth twitched, and his eyebrows nearly twisted into a knot.

If soone in Saint Yil Castle suggested "let the native Lizardn repair a steam sailboat," they'd be laughed into the sea on the spot.

But just when his face was written with "are you serious?" a low and hoarse voice sounded from behind.

"Who among you is the captain?"

Turning around, Derek saw two tall Lizardn standing on the beach.

One carried a package, the other a toolbox, looking quite professional. However, their tails flicked behind them, and their scales shone with a sinister dark green luster.

"I heard you have a ship with a boiler problem."

"Let's hurry up!"

Derek was stunned.

Lizardn actually showed up?!

He was completely bewildered.

Maybe seeing that he didn't react, those two Lizardn natives started muttering so incomprehensible phrases under their breath, occasionally lifting their heads in a praying posture—

"Is this NPC dumb?"

"Hey! Dog planner, did you see this? Hurry and fix the BUG!"

Derek couldn't understand what they were saying and could only look at Kedson for help. However, the latter was equally confused.

Fortunately, at this ti, Baron Ticky's servant stepped forward and coughed.

"Respected Captain Derek... The ship repair technicians have arrived, we should hurry and get on board." Lumier looked at Derek, urging him.

"Alright..."

Derek nodded instinctively, chanically waving his hand to signal his n to put the boarding plank back into the sea.

Twelve tons of supplies required several trips to transport; they decided to first let the ship repair masters on board, then return for the goods.

The two Lizardn jumped onto the skiff, their tails swinging wildly, making the small skiff seem to encounter rough seas, making the two sailors in charge of rowing quite nervous.

Derek also kept a straight face.

He had a feeling these two reptiles were on a boat for the first ti, chattering incessantly along the way, especially when they saw the Imperial warship, they shouted excitedly.

"Whoa!"

"What a retro model!"

"Is this the Imperial warship?"

"Feels like it couldn't withstand a shot from a Magic Crystal Cannon..."

"Not necessarily, maybe there's a Priest or Mage on board, they might put up a Magic Protection Shield?"

"Then launch torpedoes! They've definitely never seen those!"

Derek coughed, looking at the baron's retainer who claid to be Lumier.

"What are they saying?"

Lumier was silent for a while, then spoke.

"They're saying... the Imperial warship is really big."

Derek: "...?"

Is that all?

The Lizardn continued their chatter, but Lumier showed no intention to translate, maintaining his role as a baron's servant.

Seeing the other party didn't intend to say much more, Derek eventually gave up on asking... After all, it wasn't really a pressing matter.

The skiff approached the ship's side.

A rope ladder was thrown down from the deck. Derek just grabbed it, preparing to climb up when the two Lizardn took a squat and jumped directly onto the deck.

The two sailors on the skiff almost fell into the water, struggling to stabilize the nearly overturned small boat, cursing at the deck.

"Damn it—"

"These rude beasts!"

Clutching the rope ladder, Lumier was also a bit flustered, but he seed accustod to the behavior of these "players," thus he wasn't surprised, simply giving an awkward, apologetic smile.

Derek's face darkened, but seeing no harm was done and considering they were there to help, he said no more.

"Alright... Don't mind the natives, sail the boat back to shore to transport the supplies."

"Yes, sir!" The sailor saluted and rowed the small boat back to the shore.

Derek and Lumier climbed up the rope ladder onto the deck, where the two Lizardn were eagerly looking around, curious about everything... They didn't seem like they could repair a ship.

Derek was already beginning to regret.

If he didn't want to offend the baron, he might have already had these two impolite and crude guys tossed off his deck.

Is this the deanor of soone who could repair a ship?

However, with the thought of giving it a try for appearance's sake, he suppressed his distrust and dissatisfaction, turning to Lumier beside him.
