Henwell flips through the docunts on his desk, writing comnts as he asks Chick, "How is the situation now?"
Chick, sitting on the sofa, sets down his tea. "There are no problems on the eastern defense line for the mont. Ogiro has left only three legions there, contracting the line and keeping watch."
"To the north, Vorry has shown no real intention to move."
"However, Silver Peak City has sent another ssage, hoping we can stop the war. Amir is willing to act as diator."
"Lumir's army has already fought Divarak several tis at Ironwood Fort."
"But their attacks have all been repelled. Divarak still firmly occupies the city, and even the camps outside have not been broken."
"However, his current situation is not good. Lumir has already had six regular legions arrive, surrounding Ironwood Fort."
"According to the timing, the rested Lake Sword Legion and the Light of Fortune Legion should both be reaching the battlefield soon."
"Counting the rchant Shield Legion already in position, three of Lumir's four ace legions are now present."
"As for Ogiro, they are still gathering forces. There are six legions in the border region, and the Sharp Spear Legion has just arrived."
"From the look of them, they do not seem to intend to support Divarak imdiately. They seem to be waiting for the Iron Thorn Legion and the First Guard Legion."
"Of course, according to our intelligence, Diversion Bay also seems to intend to wear down Divarak's strength."
"In addition, Second Prince Obilian's legion was blocked halfway again. Holy Lake City has ordered him to return to his station imdiately."
Henwell puts down the pen in his hand. "From the look of it, Obilian is being feared by his father."
"However, there are other reasons as well. Holy Lake City needs Obilian to keep watch over Tatan City."
"After all, we also have forces there. Holy Lake City is very worried that our power there will take actual control of Tatan City while Obilian is away."
"Although we have fewer than four thousand paramilitary forces there, they have already been frightened by us. They definitely cannot let us accomplish anything there."
Chick nods in agreent, then continues reporting. "Elia and Beethoven have already established themselves in the foothold zone."
"The initial forts have been completed, the soldiers are intensifying their training, and they have enough food and supplies for them to hold out until next year's harvest season."
"For the next period, the focus of our mariti supply transport will shift to Browning's side at Saltwater Town. In the short term, we cannot provide any more aid to Elia and the others."
As he speaks, Chick hands the intelligence to Henwell.
Henwell takes it and quickly flips through it. "There should not be any major problem. Elia and Beethoven are not diocre."
"We have given them enough initial capital. Now Ogiro has no attention to spare for them. That is enough for them to develop quietly for half a year."
"After half a year, Ogiro's army will no longer charge full force against the fortress clusters in the foothold zone."
"They know how sturdy our fortresses are, and how difficult they are to deal with."
"Instead, Browning's side needs more attention. He now has fewer than five thousand people in his hands."
"Whether he encounters Ogiro's encirclent or Lumir's expulsion, both would be deadly threats to them, since they have no natural defenses to rely on."
"Especially Prince Obilian. He definitely will not be willing to let his country suffer such a large loss."
Chick is also worried about this problem. "According to information sent back by our covert assets, Obilian now seems sowhat frenzied."
"If he really chooses to go to war with us, how should we respond, especially at the two points of Tatan City and Saltwater Town?"
Henwell rises and walks to the map of Lumir. After looking at it for a while, he gives an order.
"Notify Orlando of the Raging Wave Fleet and Barbosa of the Dreadwave Fleet. Have them organize an operation."
"Activate Tatan City's No. 2 and No. 3 secret storehouses and send all the supplies there to Saltwater Town."
"On one hand, this will provide so support to Browning. On the other hand, it will force Obilian to behave and stay in Tatan City."
"As soon as those two fleets move, Lumir will certainly beco alert. They will absolutely not dare allow a port city to fall completely into our hands."
"Especially once they learn that we have a fleet in our hands, they will be even less willing to take the risk."
"At that ti, whether Obilian is willing or not, he will have to return to Tatan City to guard it."
Chick records the order. Later, he will send an extraordinary transmission to the two fleets.
Henwell looks at the map, his brows tightly furrowed. "Is there any movent from Holy Lake City in Lumir? Or rather, have they contacted the Western Federation?"
Chick shakes his head. "No intelligence has co out for now. Many of the covert assets we activated earlier are now being watched by Lumir's intelligence organization, Coral Reef."
Henwell says, "Tell the brothers on the covert lines to be careful. Once they finish their missions, they should withdraw imdiately and not stay."
"If they are being watched and truly cannot leave, then surrender directly. Do not take aningless casualties."
"When the brothers surrender, they must say they are people of Peace Haven. After the war ends, we will exchange Lumir's powerful nobles for prisoners."
Chick nods and accepts the order. Then he says, "Our covert lines deployed along Lumir's route to the Western Federation have sent back information."
"They did not find any Lumir request-for-aid envoy group heading to the Western Federation. However, they discovered quite a few of Ika's elite covert assets arriving there as well."
"Most of them are Golden Spiders, and so are royal secret agents."
"There are even several elite combat teams. From the look of it, they are planning to intercept and kill Lumir's envoy group."
Henwell smiles. "What the Ika Kingdom fears most is the Western Federation intervening in the Lumir war. It seems they cannot wait any longer."
Chick says, "Then should we push them along now?"
Henwell shakes his head. "No hurry. Dragging things out is beneficial to us, and it is beneficial to Elia and the others in the south as well."
"We will act after Divarak and the others are transferred away, and after Ogiro and Lumir fight a bloody battle."
"I think Ika is also waiting for that opportunity. If we act early, I fear Ika will not be happy either."
"In addition, our legions suffered considerable losses. We also need to replenish our soldiers. A longer rest ti is better for us."
Half a month later, Obilian, who has returned to Tatan City, finds Orlando at Peace Haven's office.
"Are you threatening ?"
Orlando says calmly, "Your Highness, you are the one who has created a threat to us."
"We have rely co to remind Your Highness not to have any dangerous thoughts."
"Before everything began, our lord had already notified you in advance."
"He told you that the Ogiro Kingdom might use this war to invade Lumir."
"Our lord also gave you a chance, asking you to persuade Holy Lake City's decision-makers. Clearly, you failed to do that."
"And according to the agreent, next you must behave yourself and not create trouble for us."
Obilian grits his back teeth and growls, "You deceived back then!"
"You said those supplies were only being used to support the King of Justice so he could hold down the Ogiro Kingdom from within."
"Back then, Henwell never said your plan was for the King of Justice to flee across the border and hide, drawing the Ogiro Kingdom's army here!"
Orlando says, "If we had said that, Your Highness would have blocked the border."
"That would have made things even worse. Besides, the King of Justice fled here to save his own life."
"The King of Justice is not one of us, and those supplies were all used in our foothold zone in Ogiro. They were not given to the King of Justice."
