The next morning, Henwell wakes up in his room at the inn. Why did he et with redith last night? It’s all part of a grand plan to make the perilous path ahead a little easier.

While dealing with the bandits, Henwell stumbled upon sothing intriguing. With a bit of persuasion, the bandits revealed redith's involvent. That’s when Henwell decided to et the woman orchestrating both the caravans and the bandits from behind the scenes.

Upon visiting redith's ho, Henwell was in for another surprise. This woman also controlled an assassin organization. Impressed by her myriad side ventures, Henwell adjusted his plan.

Instead of rely using evidence of her bandit connections as leverage, he decided to reveal even more deadly secrets, forcibly tying her to his side.

For a woman to build such an empire on her own is no small feat, proving redith's exceptional nature. She must understand the weight of these secrets. Her thods suggest she’s an ambitious and formidable woman, unlikely to easily relinquish her achievents.

Whether redith submits to him or not, Henwell isn’t concerned. He firmly believes that respecting human nature and interests can create the most binding agreents. redith will undoubtedly resist, but she will soon realize that her efforts are in vain. In the face of true power, all cunning and strategy appear feeble and ineffective.

Henwell isn't bothered by redith's struggles right now; he's off to visit another viscount. When Henwell ets Viscount Evans, the viscount tasks him with finding a rare animal. Henwell knows this is a ploy to waste his ti and delay the Path of Honor.

Henwell expresses a desire to speak privately with the elderly viscount, but Evans flatly refuses. However, when Henwell ntions a certain na, Evans hesitates and ultimately agrees to the private conversation.

In the study, Viscount Evans asks, "Are you trying to blackmail about my youthful indiscretions?"

Henwell shakes his head. "Of course not! I'm young too, and I know this is the age of first loves. Making so mistakes is inevitable! Besides, a few romantic escapades among nobility aren't exactly shocking."

"Then why are you here?" Evans inquires.

"To talk about Jenny's whereabouts, of course."

"Do you know where she is?" Evans asks, his voice tense.

"She's dead," Henwell replies.

Evans is montarily stunned, a look of sorrow crossing his face. A man, in his lifeti, truly loves only one woman with all his heart. After that first love, it's rare for him to love another so recklessly.

Evans slumps in his chair. "Tell where Jenny's grave is, and I'll give you a different task."

Henwell smiles. "How about we change it to finding Jenny's son instead? After all, he is your bloodline, Viscount."

Evans jumps up, then sits back down. "Jenny's son? He might not be mine!"

"Tsk, tsk, poor Jenny. She never married, spent most of her life wandering, and struggled to raise her son. She gave everything for the man she loved, only to be doubted. Her life was so hard, enduring cold stares, gossip, and hardship..."

"Enough!" Viscount Evans snaps. "Where is Jenny's son?"

Henwell shrugs. "He's dead too."

Viscount Evans narrows his eyes, exuding a palpable nace. "Kid, are you toying with ? Or do you think I wouldn't dare do anything to you?"

Henwell calmly continues, "Jenny's son was nad Peary. During the War of the Six Kings, he was conscripted to the front lines and died in the Kingdom of Ika. But Peary had a son, your grandson, Viscount. He's alive and should be about twenty years old now."

Evans fixes Henwell with an intense stare. "Tell where he is. I'll verify his bloodline. If he truly is mine, I'll stamp that damned the Proof Of Glory for you. But if you're lying, I promise you won't leave here alive."

Henwell responds, "There's no trust between us, so I suggest we find soone to act as a guarantor. Lord Keynes of the city would be a good choice, don't you think?"

After a long silence, Viscount Evans replies coldly, "Ti and place."

"That depends on your availability. The place is Cloud Tree City," Henwell says.

That afternoon, Viscount Evans arrives in Cloud Tree City with a group of knights, his deanor fierce and determined.

In the city lord's mansion, a young man dressed simply waits anxiously. He is unsure of what is happening; a few days ago, a team of soldiers found him and purchased his serf contract from a knight. Since then, he has been brought to Cloud Tree City and kept at the mansion.

Despite being well-fed and cared for, his mind is restless, filled with confusion and fear of the unknown. As he wonders why he's been brought here, an elderly noble rushes to his side. After scrutinizing him for a long ti, the noble finally asks, "What's your na?"

"Sir, my na is Doyle," the young man replies nervously.

Looking at the timid young man before him, Viscount Evans can already sense the connection. Doyle bears a resemblance to Evans himself in his younger days. However, the verification process by the bloodline sorcerer is still necessary.

After a series of procedures, it is confird that Doyle is indeed the viscount's grandson. Tears stream down Evans' face as he grasps Doyle's arm and announces to everyone present, "This is my long-lost bloodline. I now declare that Doyle is officially part of the Gilbert family!"

Afterward, Evans fulfills his promise by stamping his seal on Henwell's Proof Of Glory. As he inquires about Doyle's background, he notices more and more how much Doyle resembles his first love. The thought of his poor first love, who died far from ho while their son perished in a foreign land, brings tears to the elderly man's eyes.

From a distance, Lord Keynes turns to Henwell and remarks, "He'll find out you deceived him eventually."

Henwell rubs his dry eyes and responds, "My lord, you're ruining the mont! Can't you see I'm moved to tears? As long as Doyle is Evans' bloodline, does it really matter if he's from his first love?"

"For an old man reminiscing about his youth, having a tangible mory is wonderful. Viscount Evans now has a chance to fill a void in his heart, relieving so of the guilt from his past. Doyle, a poor young man, won't have to suffer anymore and can live a happy life. A once troubled child won't face hardship anymore."

"Where else can you find such a win-win situation? Look, I'm so moved I'm crying! Don't just stand there, my lord, join in and clap!"

Lord Keynes glances at Henwell, whose eyes are red from rubbing, and with a smile, shakes his head and gently applauds.
