Yawning, the director took a sip of coffee as the phone rang.
He looked at the caller ID, sowhat surprised.
“Hello, Xiao Lingzhi?”
“It’s ! Director Uncle, Little Taotie, Little Jinzi, and I just finished watching the movie. It’s good, but we have lots of questions we want to ask you!”
“Go ahead and ask.”
“The Female Secret Guard is the Vigilante Thief’s daughter, right?”
“First, tell your speculations.”
“We think she is.”
“Then that’s right.”
“Director Uncle, you’re so perfunctory!”
“Haha, should I say no? Yes, the Female Secret Guard is the Vigilante Thief’s daughter. Was that earnest enough?”
Xiao Lingzhi let out a satisfied hum: “Little Taotie says she’s feigning amnesia and kills the Vigilante Thief to protect her mother and brother, right?”
On the other end of the line, there’s a long silence.
“Hello? Director Uncle!” Xiao Lingzhi shouted.
The director snapped back to reality and chuckled softly: “You tell Little Taotie that she seems more suited to being a director than an actor.”
“She’s right here beside !” Xiao Lingzhi handed the phone to Little Taotie.
In a childish voice, Little Taotie told the director on the other end: “I’m not fit to be a director.”
The director was puzzled: “Why do you say that?”
Little Taotie’s childish voice sounded troubled: “If I were directing, I wouldn’t shoot it like this, so I’m not fit to be a director.”
The director beca intrigued and pressed further: “If it were you, how would you shoot it?”
Little Taotie tilted his head, thinking for a mont and spoke with a hint of uncertainty in his childish voice: “With the Imperial Court being corrupt, why beco a Vigilante Thief? Why not beco the Emperor instead?”
“Cough, cough!” The director was sipping coffee and was caught off guard by Little Taotie’s rebellious idea and choked!
