In the Reincarnation Palace, a monk appeared out of thin air, his robe plain yet untainted by dust. In his right hand, he held a wooden fish, and in his left, a string of beads.
The woman who was serving soup looked up, their eyes t, and the monk placed his palms together politely, "I’m sorry to intrude, but could you spare a bowl of soup for this humble monk?"
The woman frowned slightly, her voice indifferent, "Since you chose your path, why change suddenly?"
Years ago, this person appeared in the Reincarnation Palace, yet refused the soup.
Today, however, he was asking for this bowl of soup.
How many years has it been?
The woman could no longer rember.
It was too long ago.
The monk smiled kindly, "This humble monk has been waiting for the appropriate opportunity. Back then was not the best ti for reincarnation; even if I had reincarnated, it might not have been the tenth life."
The woman frowned, her hands not pausing as she continued to serve soup to those in line.
"And now, is it the right ti?"
"Yes, now that this humble monk has awaited this opportunity, I am certain to fulfill the tenth life."
For the Nine Lifeti Buddha Child to perfect the tenth life is no simple task; once failed, all previous efforts would be lost.
In the tenth life, there would be more trials and hardships, as well as greater temptations.
Countless predecessors have faced setbacks on the path of the tenth life.
So turned into gamblers, others beca murderers, and so were blinded by lust.
In the mory-lost tenth life, there would be too many unpredictabilities; even having tried in nine lives, he felt that his Buddha heart was not firm, increasing the likelihood of failure, thus choosing to exchange his rit from nine lives for the role of Judge.
After becoming a Judge, he continued to accumulate virtue and goodness, like saving the young ghost ssenger who otherwise would have vanished, making him a young ghost ssenger in the Netherworld.
Saving a life is akin to building a seven-story pagoda, especially when it concerns a child of Luck possessing Dragon Qi.
Had it not been for being hard by malevolent individuals back then, this young ghost ssenger would have undoubtedly beco a wise ruler, what a pity.
Due to his uniqueness, he was targeted and subjected to sorcery.
Similar to reincarnating as the tenth-life Buddha, he would likely be targeted upon entering the tenth life, making this life the most challenging, to succeed or not... the worst case might result in being forged into a magic artifact.
As a Judge, the rits he accumulated over the years are almost enough.
Now having trapped that Qing Luan, it seems to be an opportunity.
He does not know what Qing Luan did, how such a Divine Beast could be so laden with sin.
The longer Qing Luan is trapped, the more rit he can gain for himself.
So if he reincarnates as the Buddha child in this life, the longer the Mysterious Lady cannot find Qing Luan, the stronger he will beco in the Mortal Realm, and all misfortune will not ensnare him. The chance to beco a Buddha will greatly increase.
Yet blessings and misfortune co hand in hand, as the chance to beco a Buddha increases, so does the danger. If the Mysterious Lady finds Qing Luan, the sinful, malevolent Qing Luan will surely not let him go.
When that ti cos, becoming a monk, in the end, is just a mortal; without the Judge’s power, he would not be a match for Qing Luan.
At that ti, when Qing Luan cos seeking revenge, he is likely to face certain death.
With a vicious glare full of malice, as if intending to tear him apart with just a look, Qing Luan will literally take action to shred him.
The line gradually dwindled, leaving the last person for today. In the large pot, only one bowl of soup remained.
The woman glanced at the person, then at the monk, "If you can persuade him to give up this bowl of soup for you, then I shall give it to you."
The monk looked toward this last person.
This person had a vacant expression, grinning foolishly.
