Little Taotie stood up and marched energetically out to the lobby.

The chopping assistant lowered his head in defeat: “It would be great if a reliable celebrity could co, much better than a kid!”
The purchasing aunt said grumpily: “Don’t look down on kids, Little Taotie’s really impressive!”
Little Taotie was completely oblivious to the kitchen’s worries, as she was standing at the restaurant entrance, staring until her eyes grew tired, yet, after staring for ages, not even a passerby appeared on the street, let alone soone coming in to eat.
Little Taotie looked up at the sun, questioning her life, a bit confused: “Did I miss lunch hours?”
The caraman shook his head: “It’s exactly lunchti.”
Little Taotie was puzzled: “Then why aren’t there even any passersby, is everyone really busy?”
The caraman gazed at the half-demolished buildings, feeling puzzled as well.
Even though most residents had left, with all these demolition teams around, surely there should be people who need to eat.
Why wasn’t anyone coming to eat?
Were they all solving it at the site?
As the two pondered, finally they saw a passerby.
The stranger was wearing dusty clothes, obviously coming from one of the demolition teams.
Little Taotie waved towards him: “Uncle, you want to eat?”
The uncle waved his hand with a smile: “No, I’m not eating.”
Little Taotie asked: “Did you already eat?”
Uncle: “Not yet!”
Little Taotie pointed at the restaurant, “There are plenty of empty seats inside, why not co in for a al?”
Uncle waved his hand: “I’m dirty, I’ll just buy a heated lunchbox from the front supermarket.”
Little Taotie eagerly said: “Not dirty, not dirty, it’s not very clean inside either, lunchboxes aren’t fresh, better have fresh hot als here.”
Seeing the uncle unmoved, Little Taotie hurriedly shouted: “Half price, everything half price, buy one dish get one dish free! Free rice refills, eat as much white rice as you want!”
The uncle paused: “Kid, can you really decide? You’re not fooling, are you?”
Little Taotie imdiately guaranteed: “Absolutely! I’m the Little Boss here!”
The uncle assud this child was the owner’s daughter, hence calling herself a Little Boss.
Uncle: “So if I bring the guys over, dishes are half price and white rice is free to refill?”
Little Taotie nodded vigorously: “Don’t worry, anyone you bring, dishes are discounted, white rice free! If you bring us custors, as long as you bring ten people, you’ll get additional discounts, fifty percent off then another fifty percent off! If you bring twenty people, and spend below two hundred yuan, we’ll waive your bill entirely!”
