The old lady was sent to the hospital, and all the way, the old lady’s daughter-in-law kept pointing at her husband and scolding him.
"You fool, I told you not to say anything, and now look, we can’t escape the dical bills!"

The old lady wasn’t in serious trouble, mainly due to poor eating and sleeping habits. Her body was already weak, and after a big shock, she had low blood pressure and low blood sugar.
When the old lady woke up, she was t with her daughter-in-law’s "mourning face."
The old lady frowned, finding this stingy daughter-in-law botherso. She disliked her but acknowledged that even though she’s not nice to her husband, she’s good to her grandchildren, albeit often resorting to hitting and scolding.
"I’m not dead yet, what are you mourning about?"

A bill was handed over, almost hitting the old lady’s face.
The old lady grabbed the bill and said coldly, "That’s all you’re capable of!"
"Three hundred! A whole three hundred! You didn’t even have surgery and it cost three hundred. If you get older and your health worsens, how much would surgery cost?"
"Keep cursing , and I’ll need surgery right away."
"Pff, I’m a jinx, you’d better stay strong!"
"You could choose not to send to the hospital, then your wallet wouldn’t die. If I get sick, just leave on the bed to fend for myself. If I die, then I die."
"That won’t do, people will gossip!"
The old lady glanced at her, hearing those words which, though unpleasant, brought her so comfort.
This stingy daughter-in-law wasn’t particularly kind to her son, nor could she be considered filial to her elders, but at critical monts, she was still sowhat decent.
"He...really died?" The old lady asked with difficulty.
"I don’t know either, the news that ca back said so. The police said whoever goes to redeem the lottery ticket is likely the murderer."
"The lottery, the lottery, the lottery, this was all caused by the lottery! If there wasn’t a lottery, he wouldn’t have gotten into trouble!"

She opened the lunch box; there was scrambled eggs with tomatoes, pork belly with cabbage, and plain rice. The dishes weren’t particularly good nor particularly bad.
She didn’t really have an appetite, so she closed the lunch box and put it back on the bed stand.
