Just when Little Taotie was deeply saddened and felt an ache in his heart, thinking that the third stone had no reaction either, the Horse-Faced Bell moved, shaking wildly.

Hua Jinyan looked around, trying to find the dead’s spiritual body, but found nothing.
The deceased was a mber of the Special Departnt who ca along with them.

Little Taotie still hadn’t seen the deceased’s spiritual body; maybe it had left the Ancient Pagoda right away, or in the Ancient Pagoda, those who died wouldn’t have spiritual bodies. These were all guesses; only by taking the corpse back could soone more skilled give an answer.
"Above..." Little Taotie’s sights followed the direction where the Horse-Faced Bell flew away; it was flying up excitedly—was there another death on the upper layer?
Little Taotie and Hua Jinyan chased after it, going to a higher layer, where they indeed saw another corpse, with the Horse-Faced Bell still absorbing sothing above, possibly death aura, Yin Qi, or remnants of vitality?
Little Taotie drove the Horse-Faced Bell away again. This ti it was reluctant for a longer period but eventually left, heading to yet another upper layer.
Little Taotie’s heart tightened, chasing after it again.
