"What you’ve just asked for is far too much."
Isabelle refilled Zorn’s teacup.
"Then how much can you offer?"
"One portion of Sun Skeleton. That’s our absolute limit."
"Also, if you need the flesh and remains of an Egunus, I happen to have a rough idea of where an Evil Spirit has been spotted. As for whether you can capture it, that will depend on your luck."
Zorn picked up his teacup, his mind racing.
’One portion of Sun Skeleton will most likely be a small piece, but as long as I get so, it’s fine. The portion I had before wasn’t large either. It would be unrealistic to expect them to offer up eight or ten pieces.’
’Information on where an Evil Spirit has been spotted is also good.’
’If I know the exact location, I can still go and capture it.’
’But since they haven’t gone to capture it themselves, it must be quite difficult.’
As Zorn was lost in thought,
Isabelle spoke slowly.
"Mr. Zorn, your Extraordinary Knowledge is vast. You’ve solved a huge problem for the Ogrande City police departnt."
"Furthermore, you helped Lady Reflection gain an overwhelming advantage in developing the Treasure Land in Ogrande City."
"I’m very curious. Are you from the [Jade Realm], the [Secret Wilderness], or perhaps the [Golden Ancient Temple]?"
"After all... only those places possess such a wealth of Extraordinary Knowledge."
Deep within Isabelle’s eyes, the light of a sun seed to flicker.
"Hmph!"
Zorn scoffed inwardly.
’She’s been in constant contact with that "Daughter of the Sun," yet she still dares to probe for information.’
Zorn didn’t expose her, however. He simply gave a detached reply.
"Yes, but not entirely."
’They want to sound out? Let them take their ti.’
For Transcendents who follow the world’s natural developnt,
the knowledge from different schools of thought is extrely secretive and not shared publicly.
It is exceptionally rare and difficult to obtain.
So schools of knowledge even use a "Gate of Knowledge" to lock away what their scholars have learned.
The secret Extraordinary Knowledge learned by the scholars of these schools does not belong to the individuals themselves.
Much of this important Extraordinary Knowledge cannot even be passed on or taught to outsiders.
But for a [Player], all the important and useful knowledge from these schools has long since been picked apart.
Even much of the Extraordinary Knowledge missing from the world’s trajectory was in the hands of Players.
Trying to trace the source of Zorn’s Extraordinary Knowledge would take them a lifeti.
And even then, they would only discover that his Extraordinary Knowledge was rootless, without a source.
Zorn’s ambiguous answer clearly did not satisfy Isabelle.
She continued.
"As a [Fighting Master], you need the flesh of an Egunus. I understand this is because your Sequence is powerful enough to absorb and digest it."
"But I’m curious, what do you need a Sun Skeleton for?"
"I’ve also heard that you’ve been exploring all over the Treasure Land, collecting materials and completing many mysterious quests for Ancient Heroic Spirits."
"Are you... trying to combine the Sun Skeleton with other materials to craft Fighting Gloves, a piece of Extraordinary Equipnt for a [Fighting Master]?"
Her words and questions seed casual and understated.
But every word revealed just how thoroughly they had been tracking and investigating him.
Clearly, before trying to win Zorn over, Isabelle and the people behind her had already investigated him thoroughly.
Zorn just gave another detached reply.
"A [Fighting Master] doesn’t need Fighting Gloves."
"As for the use of a Golden Sun Skeleton, that is knowledge that requires paynt!"
"Knowledge that requires paynt?"
Isabelle paused.
"However... this ti, I’ll answer for free."
Zorn took a mont to compose his thoughts before he began to explain.
"The Extraordinary World is ho to many magical species and organs."
"For example, consuming Dragon Blood can increase one’s physical strength."
"Refining Dragon Scales can allow you to form Scale Armor to increase your Defense."
"Or, by absorbing a Glutton’s Stomach, you can beco a Gorger with a shocking appetite, gaining incredible stamina and endurance."
"The Sun King’s Golden Skeleton, while a powerful treasure imbued with the strength of Upper Rankers, can also be seen as a magical skeleton possessing imnse Life Force."
"If you had a Sun King’s Golden Skeleton in your hands, you would understand what I an."
"Through a special process and a corresponding ritual, it’s possible to absorb and digest this Golden Skeleton, allowing one to acquire the [Golden Bone]. This, in turn, grants the user an astonishing regenerative ability."
"Even grievous, fatal wounds can be healed quickly with the [Golden Bone]."
Imrsed in the wondrous effects described by the Fighting Master, Isabelle couldn’t help but feel a stir of excitent.
Her Sequence was [Mist Walker].
Although her Sequence was quite special and granted her strong Life Force, it lacked effective ans of recovery.
If she were to sustain a relatively serious injury, her mobility and long-distance travel abilities would be severely compromised.
Even a minor injury would significantly weaken her abilities.
The [Traveler] Sequence was still relatively weak when it ca to dealing with risks.
So ti ago, the "Holy Healing Fluorescent Potion" produced by the Witches of Ogrande City had proven very effective, and she had purchased a large quantity to carry with her.
However, even though the potion was exceptionally effective, one’s own regenerative power was what truly mattered.
And now, the thod for using the Sun King’s Golden Skeleton that this Fighting Master had just described made her heart pound with excitent.
Isabelle looked at Zorn and smiled softly.
"Mr. Fighting Master, I wonder if you would be willing to share the ritual for digesting the Golden Skeleton?"
