This ti, Zorn’s Evil Spirit Calamity enveloped the entire island city, including the Wizard Tower where the Upper Rank Powerhouses were located.
Those Saintsman People, so fond of the tides of war.
They would be burned to ashes in these cruel flas of battle.
Zorn was also targeting the Demon Creatures.
A vast Death Black Mist descended. Needless to say, the Saintsman People were buried on the spot by the Evil Spirit Calamity.
But the Demon Creatures were clearly far more resilient.
Zorn’s current strength was at Level 9.
When the Level Six Demon Creatures were covered by the Death Black Mist, they could still struggle and quickly flee the afflicted area.
In contrast, it was very difficult for a human Level Six Transcendent to escape.
The Level 7 and Level 8 Demons, however, could resist Zorn’s Level 9 Evil Spirit Calamity relatively well.

As the Evil Spirit Calamity continued to spread, the sky was already beginning to brighten with the dawn.
Demons, the Evil Spirit Calamity, God-Statue Demons, pirates, and Transcendents from the Saintisman Steam Empire.
The forces of all these factions were chaotically clashing across the entire island and the surrounding seas.
The entire area had descended into complete chaos.
Zorn couldn’t be sure who the final winner would be, but he was certain of one thing.
This ti, Saint Nuoya’s Golden Island was well and truly finished.
At the sa ti, news of the large-scale invasion of Demon Creatures would quickly spread to every corner of the World.
In tis of peace, this might have caused significant turmoil across the continent.
The major powers might even have ford a united front to resist the Demon invasion.
But now...
The flas of war had already been burning on the Holy Land Continent for a year.
It had long since reached a kill-or-be-killed stage.
No one would care about a Demon invasion.
In fact, in the Chapters to co, the Demon invasion was just one of the forces contributing to the World’s collapse and destruction.
It could even be considered one of the lesser ones.
The powerful Mysterious Realms from High Level regions were already slowly making their way in.
The World was destined for irreversible destruction.
As the Evil Spirit Calamity continued to expand, Zorn sensed several Level 9 and Level 10 Demons with powerful Perception Abilities beginning to search the vicinity for the source of the Catastrophe Ceremony.
Seeing this, Zorn chuckled softly.
’If the Evil Spirit Calamity had just begun and they found the source of the ceremony, they could have snuffed it out.’
’Then they could have ended this Evil Spirit Calamity.’
’Unfortunately, I already prepared the Evil Spirit Calamity in the Magical Castle and allowed its power to gestate.’

If the Wizard Tower’s protective barrier were still intact, the Demon Creatures would surely have stationed guards here.
It would have been quite difficult for Zorn to sneak in.
But now, the Demon Creatures had plundered all the resources inside, and Zorn had broken the barrier with Witchcraft.
As long as he was careful, the Demon Creatures wouldn’t be able to discover his tracks.
He moved through the Mirror Image Layer Realm, carefully avoiding the Demon Creatures’ patrols.
As he advanced, Zorn mused to himself.

As he walked deeper into the cavern, Zorn continuously released the Calamity Black Mist.
There was only one Demon here.
And it was an extrely powerful one.
When Zorn reached the end of the underground cavern, a powerful Demon Lord with blood-red Magma Scale Armor sat there quietly.
The lava power it naturally radiated had lted the rock directly beneath it.
GLUG... GLUG... GLUG...
The searing liquid lava churned.
The air was thick with the pungent, mingled sll of sulfur and magma.
’A natural lava pool creator.’
The mont he entered and sensed its aura, Zorn already knew who it was.
The towering Demon Creature, sitting cross-legged in the pool of lava, slowly turned around.
Its scorching, burning pupils reflected Zorn’s silhouette.
"Zorn Corick, the World Lord Level creature at the heart of this World’s unfolding Chapter. I am correct, am I not?"
The Demon Lord’s voice was as deep as rolling thunder.
"You are absolutely correct, Lord Mole Dicks."
"Oh? You know of ?"
"I know that within the Demon Realm, there are many, many powerful Legendary Demon Lords, and you... are one of them."
"Although this tiny Level 10 Demon shell of yours is only a part of you, it still possesses the power to kill with ease."
What Zorn said was true.
Before him was not a re projection.
It was a part of an extrely powerful Legendary Demon Lord.
"Heh heh... For a Transcendent of your Level to know so much about the Demon Realm."
"You ca straight here. Are you trying to open this ancient door to the ruins?"
"I’ve collected so clues and an Ancient Spell from other places. I don’t know if it will succeed, but it’s worth a try," Zorn explained.
"Then give it a try! If you can really open it, I won’t have to waste any more ti here."
"I don’t know what great secrets are hidden within these ancient and secluded ruins, but I can feel sothing inside that’s attracting ."
As he spoke, the Legendary Demon Lord slowly placed his palm on the vast, towering gate.
"In return, I can spare your life."
Normally, Mole Dicks would never let this darling of the world’s tide touch this ancient and secret gate.
Because the man shared the sa origin as this World, there was a real chance he could open it.
But things were different now.
Mole Dicks could sense that many other powers had entered this World.
He couldn’t afford to delay for too long.
Letting this human open it was no issue.
He could just as easily kill the human afterward and claim all the treasures here for himself.
This human was powerless to stop him.
For the demon to agree so easily sent Zorn’s thoughts spinning rapidly.
Zorn knew there would be a powerful Level 10 Demon stationed here.
The key was what tier its strength belonged to.
’If it was an Upper Rank Level Demon avatar, I could take a gamble and might be able to kill it.’
’If it was a Crown Level Demon’s avatar, it would be more difficult.’

This Mole Dicks was at least a Level 24 or Level 25 Legendary Lord.
Even if Zorn sacrificed all four of his remaining lives here, he would never be able to defeat this Legendary Demon Lord’s Level 10 vessel.
If he hadn’t co here, Zorn would have completely lost the chance to open this Doorway.

Fortunately, Zorn had his own plan.
The fact that the Demon was willing to let him open the door—or at least touch the ancient, secret gate—made this the most convenient of all his plans.
Taking a deep breath, Zorn walked forward.
He passed the powerful Demon Creature and arrived before the towering, heavy, ancient, and secret gate.
Then, Zorn slowly placed a single palm on it and began to chant the Ancient Spell.
About two hourglasses worth of ti passed.
On the towering ancient gate, various lines of Energy continuously lit up.
Although Zorn had infused it with a great deal of Energy through his Spell and Evil Energy, there was still no reaction.
It showed no signs of opening.
Another hourglass of ti went by.
Only then did Zorn slowly withdraw his palm.
"Lord Mole Dicks, based on the thods I know, it seems I won’t be able to open this ancient, secret gate in a short ti. If..."
Before Zorn could finish his sentence, a blood-red whip lashed out viciously.
POP!
Zorn’s body was whipped so hard it instantly exploded into a rain of blood and gore.
’If he can’t open it, then he has no value.’ Mole Dicks killed him without the slightest hesitation.
’Even though it’s just a Level 10 Demon Lord, it contains a portion of Legendary power. As expected, it’s not sothing I can fight at my current Level.’
As the Demon Lord’s Apostle moved to absorb his bloody remains, Zorn decisively used Resurrection and fled!
A Death escape.
This was the core technique of a World-level boss, and the very foundation of Zorn’s survival.
"Just like that Lord of War from Saintisman, this guy really does have a Resurrection Ability. If that’s the case, then so does that Nightmare Angel."

Mole Dicks looked at the remains of flesh and blood in his hand, which were rapidly turning to ash and dissipating along with the exploded Energy. He frowned slightly.
