Renzo and Ryder turned back slowly, like predators who already knew the prey wasn’t going anywhere.
“I....” My throat felt dry. “Heal ,” I said again, quieter this ti, but no less desperate.
A slow, dangerous smirk curved Renzo’s lips as he stepped closer, Ryder right behind him, their presence pressing into the small space until the air felt thick.
“Beg,” Renzo said softly.
My eyes widened. “What?”
“You heard the man,” Ryder added, his tone almost bored, like this was a ga he’d already won.
I clenched my fists. My pride scread at to refuse, but then my mother’s face flashed in my mind. Her tired eyes. Her overworked hands. The way she ran herself into the ground just so I could survive.
I swallowed as I slowly tried to go on my knees.
I hated that part of , and my wolf, that reacted to them, to the way the mate bond humd painfully between us. To the way my chest felt tight, warm, restless. To the fact that Ronan wasn’t here, and sohow his absence made it worse.
Ryder exhaled sharply. “Enough. You can stop humiliating yourself.”
I stiffened as I stood back up
“Even with all this,” he continued coldly, “We are not going to fuck you at all, you do not deserve it"
