The party that ca after was loud and crazy, just like Rex would have expected from a demon party. Long tables appeared out of nowhere, full of food and drink that looked bad but were apparently considered delicacies in demon culture.
Music played at levels that would have been seen as assault with a deadly weapon on the surface. Demons danced, fought, argued, and laughed with a wild energy that ca from beings who didn’t care about being polite.
Rex watched everything with a detached interest, taking ntal notes on the demon social hierarchy and cultural practices while also keeping his mind on his real goal for the night.

He hadn’t fully explored the passive effects of his Lustful Villain form yet. Lustia had said that the change would make people around him want him more, making him naturally more attractive and interesting to anyone who was open to lust or desire.
And of course, Rex already had a brilliant idea to try that out in a controlled setting and see how well it works.
Lilith hadn’t left his side since they got to the castle. Even now, she was close to him, with one hand resting on his arm in a casual way that showed she owned him.
Her red eyes kept finding his mask, and every ti she looked at him, Rex’s desire level rose through his system interface.

He could feel the desire energy in the air and shape it in a way that sent more of it toward Lilith specifically through his energy manipulation.

Rex saw Lilith’s pupils get bigger even though the throne room was lit by red lights, and he could see heart shapes ford on them again.

Rex reached out and ran one gloved finger along Lilith’s jaw. It was a touch that was both gentle and possessive.
He said, "Then I guess that makes you mine then," not as a question but as a statent.

Those words and that touch made Lilith feel like she was going to lt. Her eyes closed halfway, her breathing sped up, and a shiver ran through her body.
"Y-Y-Yes," she said with her tail tensed up. "I’m yours...! All of yours, and forever yours!"
"I’ll go anywhere you want to go, do anything you want to do, and be whatever you need to be...!"

Rex felt that manipulation was so easy that her desire level was already maximum, and the system knew that Lilith had reached the highest level of devotion.
She was completely his now, bound to him by a desire and obsession so strong that nothing could break it.
It was cool that they could talk to each other telepathically. He would have to look into what that ant later.
But for now, he had other things to test.
"Alright... one down, and I need to put so good tests on the others." Rex patted her head and told Lilith to do anything she wanted other than be with him.
Lilith then left Rex alone to eat a lot of food, while Rex’s eyes were already locked onto Cassandra, who was standing close to Mordecai, the demon queen, and appeared very unhappy about what had happened that night.
She had her arms crossed, her body language was defensive, and she kept looking at Rex with suspicion every few minutes.
’There it is... It was always more fun to crack hard-to-get targets.’
He walked across the throne room to Cassandra. When she saw him coming, her face hardened, as if she were ready for a fight.
"So... are you still upset about what happened earlier?" Rex asked in a casual way. "I didn’t an to make you feel bad."
"You were just doing your job to protect your lord, and I respect that."
"You made look weak in front of everyone as the Demon Queen," Cassandra said, her voice tight with anger that she was trying to hide. "And... I won’t forget that easily."
"I made you look like you were going to lose," Rex said. "There’s a difference, you know?"
"You’re strong, probably the strongest demon in this castle besides Mordecai himself, but ...? Hahaha, well, I’m on a whole other level."
"That’s not weakness on your part... but it’s just how things are right now."
He let the Lustful Villain’s passive aura wash over her, and the desire manipulation worked on levels she probably didn’t even know about. "You know what I think?"
"I think you’re upset or angry because you’ve been the strongest person in every room for so long that eting soone stronger makes you want to fight and fuck at the sa ti..."
"But how unfortunate... you don’t know how to deal with that, do you?" Rex was playing a very dangerous manipulative trick, but he knows what he’s doing.
Cassandra’s eyes got wide, and her red skin turned redder. "That’s not—I don’t—you can’t just—"
"Can’t what?" Rex moved closer on purpose, getting too close for comfort. "Can’t read you like an open book?"
"Or maybe... can’t see through the tough warrior exterior to the desires underneath?" Rex smirks. "You’re a demon, Cassandra."
"Your entire species is built on desire and passion... so try and not pretend you’re immune to them."

"Or you could accept that I’m not your enemy, that having soone stronger than you doesn’t make you weaker, and that maybe it would be better for everyone if you worked with instead of against ."
He stepped back to give her room again. "Think about it."
"I’m going to be around more often now, and... we can spend that ti getting on each other’s nerves, or we can spend it becoming sothing more interesting."
