"Whose stuff is that?"
The woman in red hurriedly walked over and picked it up.
It was a green bag, sowhat worn out, resembling styles from the 1960s and 70s.
"This bag should belong to Knife Mark; he left it here," Jiang Chuan said.
"Check what's inside the bag? Maybe we can find his employer?"
Ouyang Jie said as he opened the bag, finding only two items inside.
A photograph and a phone.
The phone was a very ordinary-looking one, seemingly unremarkable.
Ouyang Jie picked up the phone, while Jiang Chuan took the photograph.
In the photo was a seven or eight-year-old girl, with braided hair, looking very cute.
Her appearance faintly resembled Knife Mark's.
This should be his daughter, Jiang Chuan concluded.
"This guy's phonebook and call records have only one entry, soone called Sister Qin. I'll have soone check it imdiately!"
Ouyang Jie said while flipping through Knife Mark's phone.
At that mont, the phone suddenly rang with an incoming call.
And the caller displayed on the screen was indeed the person nad Sister Qin.
Ouyang Jie imdiately answered the phone.
A woman's anxious voice instantly ca through the phone.
"Sir, it's bad, Xiaoke's condition has worsened! Please co quickly!"
The voice was filled with urgency, sounding on the verge of tears.
Ouyang Jie was stunned.
What's going on?
Who's sick?
Upon hearing the voice, Jiang Chuan imdiately took the phone from Ouyang Jie and said solemnly, "Hello, I'm a doctor. Could you tell your current location?"
The other side paused, then instinctively asked, "You're a doctor? How do you have the sir's phone?"
"He's busy right now, and asked to co over first. Tell your location and send a pin!" Jiang Chuan replied calmly.
"Okay, I'll send it right away!"
The woman's voice sounded a bit flustered but quickly agreed.

"Mr. Jiang, wait for , I'll send soone with a car to take you there!"
When Jiang Chuan arrived at the hotel entrance, a Porsche was already revved up and waiting for him.
Ouyang Jie and Jiang Chuan got into the Porsche, while Ouyang Jie's four female bodyguards got into another car.
The two vehicles started, speeding away into the distance.
Twenty minutes later, they arrived at the slum in Yanbei City's West City District, at a dim and damp residential house.
Jiang Chuan broke through the door, closely followed by Ouyang Jie and his four female bodyguards.
The room was low and dark, with a simple layout.
A large bed occupied half of the room.
Lying on the bed was a seven or eight-year-old girl, with her eyes tightly shut, pale as paper, with weak breathing.
Beside the girl was a woman in her fifties looking anxious and very uneasy.
On seeing Jiang Chuan, the woman quickly stood up and tentatively asked, "Are you the doctor?"
Jiang Chuan nodded and said, "I am; how is she?"
The woman hastily made space, worriedly glancing at the girl on the bed, and said, "Xiaoke fainted again. She's been unconscious five tis since this morning. Doctor, you must save her!"
"Okay!"
Jiang Chuan replied affirmatively, then imdiately sat beside the girl to check her pulse.
Ouyang Jie looked at Jiang Chuan in astonishnt; he already knew Jiang Chuan was skilled in martial arts but didn't expect him to be knowledgeable in dicine too. And it seed quite competent.
