"Jiang Chuan, cut the crap! Let us brothers go, or I'll kill her!"
Jiang Chuan frowned slightly. He admitted he really had been careless just now.
He didn't expect this guy to be so cunning, actually taking a hostage to threaten him.
Of course, this girl had nothing to do with Jiang Chuan.
But Jiang Chuan wasn't a devil; he couldn't just watch this girl get killed and do nothing.
So Jiang Chuan nodded and said, "Fine, I'll let you go. Let her go."
"Alright!"
Second Master Chen finally breathed a sigh of relief. He grabbed the girl and retreated, signaling for Chen the Third to follow him.
Over there, Chen the Third remained silent.
The look he gave Jiang Chuan was full of hatred.
Chen the Third only wanted to get Qiu Qianyu, so the one who most wanted Jiang Chuan dead was also him.
"Third, what are you zoning out for? Move it!"
Chen the Second, seeing Chen the Third still dazed, urged him impatiently.
As long as they got out, they could bring in reinforcents and deal with Jiang Chuan and that Knife Mark.
"Oh, alright."
Chen the Third answered and slowly started moving toward Chen the Second.
But as soon as he'd taken a few steps, he suddenly dove toward the ground.
Rolling as he landed, he snatched up the pistol Second Master Chen had dropped.
"Jiang Chuan, go to hell!"
Chen the Third scread wildly as he pulled the trigger at Jiang Chuan, emptying the entire magazine in one go.
Chen the Third was a gun enthusiast and a decent shot too.
If Jiang Chuan wasn't dead after that, there was truly no reason.
But when the gunshots stopped, Chen the Third quickly looked around—Jiang Chuan was nowhere to be seen.
What the hell, where did Jiang Chuan go? How did he just disappear?
Looking at the empty space in front of him, Chen the Third couldn't believe his eyes.
"Stop looking. I'm right here!"
Jiang Chuan's voice ca from behind. Chen the Third turned his head—Jiang Chuan was there, coldly sneering at him.
Chen the Third shuddered, feeling it was unbelievable.
A mont ago Jiang Chuan had been in front of him—how did he move behind him while he was shooting?
Was he even human?
Chen the Third's expression finally changed. He turned and tried to run.
But how could he possibly escape?
Jiang Chuan reached out, grabbed his hair, and violently threw him out.
Chen the Third let out a miserable scream and smashed onto the ground, completely disoriented.
He struggled to get up, but a foot had already stepped down on his face.
"I gave you a chance, but you didn't cherish it. Fine—I'll send you both on your way!"
Jiang Chuan's voice was icy cold. He pressed down slightly with his foot, making Chen the Third wail in agony.
At the sa ti, he scread loudly, "Big brother, save !"
Second Master Chen lost his composure. He brandished his dagger, aiming it right at the girl in his arms.
"Jiang Chuan, let my brother go or I'll kill her!"
Jiang Chuan sneered, flicking his arm, sending a flash of cold light straight at Second Master Chen.
Second Master Chen imdiately felt his wrist go numb and weak; the dagger clattered to the floor.
And right at his wrist, a toothpick was embedded in an acupoint, still quivering.
Realizing things had gone south, Second Master Chen turned to flee. But how could he escape Jiang Chuan?
Jiang Chuan raised his hand and flicked out another toothpick.
Normally a toothpick would be flimsy, but in Jiang Chuan's hand, it was steady and powerful, almost as fast as a bullet.
The toothpick struck Second Master Chen in the calf.
His left leg buckled and he knelt to the ground, unable to rise again.
He tried a few tis, but just couldn't get up, so he gave up.
He glared at Jiang Chuan viciously and demanded, "Jiang Chuan, what the hell do you want?"
