The next day.

Early in the morning, Qiu Qianyu drove Jiang Chuan to Hai Province.

Hai Province isn't too far from Yanbei City, it only takes about an hour by car.

Soon, they arrived at the Qiu Family in Hai Province.

This was Jiang Chuan's first visit to the Qiu Family, and upon arrival, he realized that the Qiu Family's ho was much smaller than he had imagined.

A small villa that seed quite old, appearing very dilapidated.

However, surprisingly, every mber of the Qiu Family had a different spirit, each walking with their heads held high, as if they were part of an untouchable grand family.

Upon arrival, Qiu Qianyu guided Jiang Chuan, constantly greeting people and instructing Jiang Chuan to address them properly.

After all, Qiu Qianyu's generation in the Qiu Family is that of the grandchildren, and there are many elders.

Many greeted Qiu Qianyu warmly, but when they saw Jiang Chuan, their eyes were filled with scorn.

They all knew Qiu Qianyu found a son-in-law who married into the family, and they were well aware of his background.

Hillbilly, farr, good-for-nothing, all sorts of terms beca Jiang Chuan's moniker.

So when they saw Jiang Chuan, they didn't hide their disdain.

Jiang Chuan didn't mind, cheerfully greeting people as if he were at his own ho.

And this made the Qiu Family mbers look down on him even more.

"Look, a hillbilly is a hillbilly, speaking and acting without a shred of the deanor of the nobility, simply not fit for such a place."

"Yeah, does he think this is his family farm? Waving and greeting like that, doesn't he know our Qiu Family is a renowned family in Hai Province?"

Hearing these discussions, Qiu Qianyu's pretty face turned sowhat unpleasant, but Jiang Chuan kept reassuring her, saying it was alright.

Soon, the Qiu Family gathered in the hall, waiting for Old Mrs. Chang to appear.

They waited a long ti before Old Mrs. Chang finally entered the living room.

In fact, there was nothing wrong; it was just her maintaining an air of importance, because she felt only in this way, could she embody the grandeur of a family head.

"Hello, Grandma!"

"Hello, Mom!"

"Hello, Aunt!"

"Hello, Auntie!"

The Qiu Family mbers eagerly greeted Chang Lan, who raised her right hand and gestured with authority.

Jiang Chuan found it amusing that despite the Qiu Family not being large, they had certainly mastered the pretentiousness of noble traditions, especially with Chang Lan's deanor resembling that of a family matriarch.

Soon, all the chatter died down, and Chang Lan's voice rang out.

"Today is Family Day, and everyone being here is great; today, there are two main matters to discuss."

"The first one is a joyous occasion. Our Qiu Family has a new mber, the boyfriend of our most beautiful princess, Qiu Hongyu, and his na is Li Ming."

At this mont, a young man stepped out, tall and slim, with clear-cut features, quite a fine figure.

He took out a pack of foreign cigarettes with English letters from his pocket, distributing them as he introduced himself with a smile, "Hello, everyone, I'm Li Ming, Hongyu's boyfriend, I hope everyone looks out for ."

"Oh? So you're Hongyu's boyfriend. Truly a talented young man. May I ask where you're working?" one of the Qiu Family mbers asked with a smile.

Li Ming quickly replied, "I just returned from studying in the United States and now work at Beijing Traditional Chinese dicine Hospital."

"Beijing Traditional Chinese dicine Hospital? That's a big hospital, I've heard many national leaders go there for treatnt!"

"Yes, being so accomplished at such a young age is incredible! Much better than so people's choice of a son-in-law."

"Exactly, just look at the cigarettes Li Ming offered us, they're foreign and quite valuable. Now look at soone else, not even a box of five-dollar cigarettes."

These sharp-tongued Qiu Family mbers enthusiastically praised Li Ming while directing their sarcastic remarks at Jiang Chuan.

It's normal; Qiu Qianyu is so outstanding, and with Old Mrs. Chang's favor, she manages such a large company, naturally drawing envy from many.

So, many disapprove of Qiu Qianyu.

And since Qiu Qianyu happened to marry such a hillbilly, she naturally beca the butt of everyone's jokes.

Upon hearing this, Li Ming glanced sideways at Jiang Chuan, and he couldn't help but puff up his chest proudly.

Being another son-in-law of the Qiu Family, he was far more outstanding than Jiang Chuan, which filled him with a sense of superiority.
