Li Jun didn’t think his grandpa would call the doctor so quickly. The woman rushed in, breathing heavily like she had run all the way. When she saw Li Jun’s injured face, she was in disbelief. Who in this world had the balls to lay a finger on Li Jun? They must truly have a death wish.
Her na was Sauron, and she had worked exclusively for Draco since she was discharged from the military. The pay was good and she didn’t have to work long hours. Thus, at Draco’s call, she would drop everything and co running. "Who did this to you? They must not have any use for their hands anymore."
Draco, looking annoyed by his grandson, said, "I asked him the sa question and he won’t tell . I want to chop off the hands that dared touch him but he won’t say who it is." He couldn’t openly go against the officials in high places as per his usual thods, but he could deal with the officer who did this. He just had to abduct them in the middle of the night and chop off their hands, then throw them in the lake at the center of the imperial city to send a ssage.
Li Jun laughed as Sauron examined him. He said, "Are you sure you want to face off with Red Valkyrie?" He knew his grandfather could easily find out who he fought with, so he didn’t hide it. Red Valkyrie and Blue Sapphire had bumped heads before.
Red Valkyrie considered themselves the hand of justice, and when compared to Blue Sapphire, who used to deal in shady businesses, they stood above righteously. Thus, despite being on the sa side on the frontline, they would always insult each other with Red Valkyrie soldiers calling them lawless rebels and gangsters.
Hearing the na Red Valkyrie, Draco’s face darkened. He had butted heads with Yu Hu, Yu Wen’s father. He was the man beside Li Mingze and opposed Draco’s thods. Who would have thought that Li Jun would also butt heads with the leader of Red Valkyrie division. Only that this ti, it was Yu Wen he was facing against.
Li Jun, seeing his grandfather lost in thought, said, "It’s not worth the trouble, just let it go for now. What I want right now is to deal with the person who planted Chronos in my clu-." His words were abruptly cut off when he winced in pain. Sauron was examining the bruises on his chest and abdon.
She suddenly said, "Did he tase you?" Li Jun t her gaze, his expression as though begging her not to say anything. But she was aware of his suffering in silence type of personality. "I can see it on your skin," she continued, as Draco ca closer, his expression not looking good. He just looked at it but didn’t say anything.
Draco simply said, "I will find out who exactly ordered it and we can discuss a plan forward." He appeared to have let go of the matter but in truth, he was going to find Yu Wen and have a serious talk with him. That’s what he said to himself but he knew there would be a lot less talking and a lot more fighting.
Hearing this, Li Jun was satisfied. He smiled and said, "Gramps, do you have anything to eat. I am starving." Draco didn’t waste any ti. He ssaged his subordinates to bring over so food but nothing spicy or greasy, perfect for a patient. The man was especially quick, bringing in the hot al in just minutes. Soon after Li Jun finished treatnt, he opened the insulated bento box only for his loud wails to follow.
Sauron chuckled while packing away her things. She knew that Li Jun favored spicy things and this bland porridge wasn’t going to cut it. Li Jun said, "Old man, are you punishing ? How can you be that petty?"
Draco threw a pen at him and said, "Call old man again and see if I won’t control your als for the rest of the week."
Li Jun yelped as the pen hit his shoulder. He took the pen and said, "It’s mine now," sliding it into his pocket. While eating, he mumbled, "I am going to tell my uncle." The so-called uncle he was referring to was Draco’s son, his mother’s twin. Like Draco, he was extrely protective of Li Jun.
But when compared to father, he was more on the deranged side. Losing his sister had made him even more ruthless thus, Draco made sure he stayed as far away from the imperial city as possible, otherwise he would start a war with no hesitation.
He chuckled as he got back to his work. "Tell him. I would like to see what that brat will do to . As for you, don’t leave until you finish every last drop."
Li Jun, "..."
He looked at Sauron for help but she laughed and said, "You are going to hate even more because I am going to give you shots." At the ntion of the word shots, Li Jun imdiately got up and ran towards the elevator.
Draco scolded, saying. "Don’t you know how he is like. You don’t tell him before it happens otherwise, he will run." Li Jun didn’t even get far before his grandpa yanked him back by the back of his collar.
Li Jun instantly tried to negotiate, saying, "Wait, wait, wait, let’s talk about this. I swear I won’t fight again. Can’t I just take pills... Grandpa!" The man wasn’t answering him, so he called out to him.
Draco asked, "Are you going to pull them down yourself, or do you need my help?"
Confused, Li Jun asked, "Pull down what?" Draco’s gaze traveled down to his pants and Li Jun followed his gaze. Having understood his aning, he gave his grandfather a pleading look, but it was pointless. Sauron, looking like the Grim Reaper, erged from the shadows, squeezing an injection.
Sauron, with an expression like that of an evil maniacal doctor, coaxed him, saying, "Don’t worry, it won’t hurt as much. It will be all over soon." Draco pulled his pants, revealing the fleshy butt cheek and the sounds of Li Jun wailing filled the basent. He sounded like an animal being slaughtered.
