"Alright!" The gunman agreed imdiately, then added a condition: "But we get to shuffle the cards."
"Sure." Xiao Feng agreed readily, and tossed the deck to them.
The deck sliced an arc through the air, heading straight to the gunman, but he moved back several steps and only crouched down to pick it up once it landed on the floor, all the while keeping the gun trained on Xiao Feng.
Before long, the cards were unwrapped and shuffled, handed back to Xiao Feng.
All eyes were on them. In the corner, many regarded Xiao Feng with admiration, wondering how strong his mind must be to remain so calm under a gun.
"Watch closely." Xiao Feng's lips curved slightly, and he imdiately picked the top card. Revealing it, the suit was indeed a heart, though the corners were covered by Xiao Feng, hiding the number.
The cri organization's mbers held their breath, wondering if he really managed to draw it on the first try.
"Judging by your looks, I should be halfway there." Xiao Feng chuckled and then released his fingers blocking the card's corners, revealing the number as an A.
Xiao Feng flipped it over, "I'm lucky today. Can I leave now?"
"Impossible!" soone retorted, "You had to have cheated. No way your luck is that good."
"You shuffled the cards and opened them. How could I cheat?" Xiao Feng spread his hands innocently.
The other nine synchronized their gaze on the person who shuffled, as if saying: Are you sure you're not with him?
The shuffler felt wronged and imdiately said, "Why are we wasting words with him? Whether he's a hostage or not isn't up to him. As soon as he moves, just shoot."
The gunman nodded, "Agreed."
Xiao Feng's eyes flashed with danger, "I despise people who lack integrity the most."
