At this mont, Xiao Feng recalled the massive "Shen" character he saw at the entrance of the winery.

Combining this with the middle-aged man's tone when ntioning Shen Tianze, he imdiately concluded that the man downstairs was Shen Tianze's father, the head of the Shen Group, Shen Hongcai.

Continuing to listen to their conversation, Xiao Feng also understood their relationship.

The woman was actually Shen Hongcai's stepdaughter, aning she and Shen Tianze were siblings.

But with different fathers and mothers, their relationship was naturally not very close.

After Shen Hongcai finished joking with his stepdaughter...

A minute later, Xiao Feng, who had just taken out his phone from his pocket, looked dazed...

Xiao Feng initially thought about recording the video for future use, but ended up overestimating Shen Hongcai's capabilities.

However, just as Xiao Feng was regretting it, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Lone Wolf giving him an OK hand gesture, indicating that everything had been recorded.

Xiao Feng bead and said, "Nice job!"

Lone Wolf was overjoyed, as receiving praise from Xiao Feng was a great honor for him.

"Let's go have a drink!" Xiao Feng said with great satisfaction.

anwhile, he was uncontrollably excited, feeling that the trip was well worth it.

...

anwhile, Zhang Wan, who was under house arrest in the hotel, was getting increasingly restless.

With Xiao Feng now in jail, she was constantly anxious, unable to eat.

At this mont, the ti was nearing dawn, the darkest mont of the day.

Zhang Wan bit her lip, and after a while, as if making a decision, she clenched her pink fists and said, "No, I can't wait any longer!"

After speaking, Zhang Wan pulled the bed sheet over, grabbed a corner with both hands, and gritted her teeth as she pulled with all her might.

"Rip."

The sound of tearing rang out, and a long strip was torn from the sheet.

Zhang Wan didn't stop, continuing to tear the sheet into strips, then tying the strips together to form a rope about six ters long.

After finishing all this, Zhang Wan wiped the sweat from her forehead, glanced at the clock on the wall, panicked slightly, quickly hid the rope under the bed, and lay down, pretending to be asleep.

Just as she closed her eyes, soone opened her room door, and Zhou Dong's n, seeing Zhang Wan lying on the bed, cursed: "Damn bitch, we're standing guard outside, and you're inside sleeping like a log, damn!"

After speaking, they left the room, and the door closed again.

This was Zhou Dong's rule, to open the door every half hour to prevent Zhang Wan from escaping.

However, Zhou Dong's n weren't careful enough. If they had been a bit more vigilant, they would have noticed that the sheet on the bed was gone.

Unfortunately, reality is reality, and there are no "ifs."

Inside the room, Zhang Wan had already tied the rope and thrown it out the window. The length of the sheet-made rope just barely reached the ground.

She was sowhat afraid of heights. Looking down from the window made her a bit weak in the knees, but thinking of Xiao Feng cald her gradually.

Clenching her teeth, she held onto the rope and climbed out of the window…

It was only at dawn that Zhang Wan reached Zhou Jiwen's villa.

Zhou Jiwen was startled to see the hurried Zhang Wan: "Xiao Wan, what happened to you?"

"Uncle, I escaped from the hotel."

"Escaped?" Hearing the word "escape," Zhou Jiwen quickly let Zhang Wan in and poured her a glass of water, saying, "Don't rush, tell slowly."

Zhang Wan quickly finished the water in the glass and said, "Earlier in the hotel, Xiao Feng was caught. It was all orchestrated by Zhou Dong from the background. She worried I would expose her framing of Xiao Feng, so she confined in the hotel."

Zhou Jiwen frowned, his face clearly displeased. Although he knew Zhang Wan wouldn't speak nonsense, he still found it hard to believe this was true.

"You say Zhou Dong frad Xiao Feng, do you have any concrete evidence?" Zhou Jiwen asked gravely.

"I do!" Zhang Wan imdiately replied, "That female college student can testify."

With that, she borrowed Zhou Jiwen's phone and called Chu ngting.

On the phone, Chu ngting recounted the events in detail.

Zhou Jiwen staggered slightly and sat heavily on the sofa, his expression looking sowhat desolate, as if he had suddenly aged.

"Uncle, you…" Zhang Wan wanted to help him up.

"It's okay." Zhou Jiwen waved his hand, dejectedly saying, "It's all because I, Zhou Jiwen, failed in teaching my son."

After a while, Zhou Jiwen got up, speaking firmly, "Let's go to the police station and hand the recording to the authorities."

Zhang Wan didn't expect Zhou Jiwen to bring down his own kin, but this was evidently good news for Xiao Feng.

After they left, they headed straight for the police station, where Song Keren was pacing outside.

Xiao Feng's case had been puzzling her. She had read Chu ngting's statent, keenly spotting several questionable points.

She approached Deputy Director Miao Youmin for answers, but Miao Youmin's responses were evasive, clearly unwilling to discuss the case at length.

The accumulation of doubts made Song Keren feel like she was shrouded in fog, unable to find a way out.

The crux was that for so reason, Song Keren intuitively felt Xiao Feng wasn't the type to commit such an act.

This unfounded belief puzzled Song Keren herself, yet she couldn't ignore it.

While deep in thought, a thick, albeit disappointed voice ca through: "Are you the director? We want to report a case."

Song Keren looked up to see Zhang Wan and Zhou Jiwen arriving at the police station together.

Typically, a director wouldn't handle such trivial matters, but just as Song Keren planned to have soone attend to Zhang Wan and Zhou Jiwen, she heard Zhang Wan say, "The person you arrested from the Zhonghao Hotel the other day was wrongfully accused."

"What did you say?!" Song Keren, who had been contemplating the case, was imdiately invigorated upon hearing soone claim Xiao Feng was wrongfully accused, and quickly brought Zhang Wan and Zhou Jiwen into her office for further information.

"This is a recording from this morning with the victimized female college student." Zhou Jiwen handed the phone to Song Keren while Zhang Wan recounted Zhou Dong's sches in detail.

After listening, Song Keren took a deep breath and said to Zhou Jiwen, "Sir, thank you for coming forward, but since the law has been broken, necessary consequences must be faced. I regret to inform you that your son's actions constitute a cri, and we shall proceed with his arrest."
