Now reading: Chapter 724: Poor Eyesight from The Magnificent Son-in-law, a Action novel by Rain sounds during the hours of midnight.

After Sun Shijie left, the oppressive atmosphere in the courtyard dissipated significantly.

Zhao Guo'an supported Sun Yiyang and said with concern, "Master, you..."

"Little An, it's you!" Sun Yiyang said, as if he just noticed Zhao Guo'an standing next to him, with a look of surprise.

"..." Zhao Guo'an.

Didn't we just have a conversation ten minutes ago?

While he was at a loss for words, Sun Yiyang suddenly clutched his chest, looking pained, and said, "No, no, my blood pressure's a bit high right now, you need to disappear from my sight quickly."

"Master, I ca to..."

"I know, you're here to make angry, or to check if I'm dead yet," Sun Yiyang lanted, "Little An, if you were just ungrateful, burning your bridges, I wouldn't have much to say.

At most, I'd bla myself for being blind and misjudging my disciple.

But this ti, you not only burned the bridge, but also dug a big hole at it. You've ruined my reputation in this life!

There's nothing more to say between us; just one sentence, leave now. I don't want to, and can't, see you."

"How have I..." Zhao Guo'an was at a loss for words.

When did I beco ungrateful, burn bridges, and dig a hole at the end of one?

"Old Zhao, respecting your master is a traditional virtue of our nation. Your master taught you life skills out of pure goodwill without expecting anything in return. How could you do this?" Xiao Feng said with disdain.

"Can you stop stirring up trouble?" Zhao Guo'an glared and said.

Sun Yiyang looked at Xiao Feng, shook his head, and sighed, "You, you, being friends with soone like Little An, you're such a waste!"

"Didn't I also, like you, misjudge him for a mont," Xiao Feng said cooperatively.

Du Yunping gave Sun Yiyang a glare and said irritatedly, "Can't you pick your monts? Speaking so recklessly in front of a young lady? You two master and disciple should sort it out yourselves.

Miss, co along, and I'll show you around to familiarize yourself with the place."

With that, she took Zhen Jinghan and left.

Zhen Jinghan kept looking back every three steps. Her eyes filled with worry as she looked at Zhao Guo'an, but still left with Du Yunping.

Not far away, Zhongli ng looked at Sun Ze, who lay on the ground with an uncertain life status, and found this family quite bizarre.

Such a big living person lying on the ground, and no one even pays attention?

As she was thinking, she saw Sun Yiyang walking over to Sun Ze, squatting down, grabbing his wrist with one hand, while the other hand magically produced an almost invisible silver needle.

"Pull down his collar a bit," Sun Yiyang said calmly.

Zhao Guo'an quickly crouched down and pulled back Sun Ze's collar, exposing his neck.

"Here we go!" Sun Yiyang shouted, thrusting down quickly.

"Awoooo!!!"

Zhao Guo'an howled like a wolf, then jumped up as if ejected from a bus toilet, landing and stomping his feet repeatedly.

Only half a minute later did everyone see clearly that a shiny, quivering silver needle was stuck in the web of Zhao Guo'an's hand.

Sun Yiyang awkwardly touched his nose, coughed twice, and said, "Ah, when you get old, your eyes just don't work as well.

Little An, pull his collar down again, I promise to poke it accurately this ti."

"..." Zhao Guo'an.

Why not just admit you were targeting my hand.

However, a master's word is hard to defy, and Zhao Guo'an felt that if he didn't comply, who knows what accusations might fall upon him.

Thinking of this, he had no choice but to use his other hand to pull down Sun Ze's collar, while he reminded, "Master, please make sure to be accurate this ti."

"Relax, I've already made one mistake, how could there be a second?" After speaking, he smoothly and directly inserted the needle.

"Awoooo!!!"

The answer was revealed: a second mistake was indeed possible.

Zhao Guo'an was about to collapse; this was simply being a silent sufferer.

"Hey! I refuse to believe in this bad luck today!" Sun Yiyang seed to be very angry as he said, "Little An, pull the collar properly. There can't be a third mistake."

Xiao Feng imdiately burst into laughter, it was too obvious he was using public office to avenge private wrongs.

Zhao Guo'an extended both his hands in front of Sun Yiyang, "Master, do you think I can still help?"

Sun Yiyang didn't reply. He rummaged over himself while muttering, "Where's my needle? Never mind, won't look for it."

With that, he casually removed the silver needle from Zhao Guo'an's hand.

"Hiss..." Zhao Guo'an took a deep breath.

It really was... very very painful!

Sun Yiyang didn't even glance at him, pulling down Sun Ze's collar with one hand, he swiftly inserted the needle with the other.

This ti, there were no more mistakes, and the silver needle was inserted into Sun Ze's neck.

"Strange, the vision is good again. Haha!" Sun Yiyang laughed happily like a child.

With a twist of the needle, he then briskly pulled it out.

Sun Ze's body trembled, letting out a muffled snort. After waiting about ten seconds, he got up from the ground, massaging his neck with a sowhat confused expression.

"Useless thing, hurry up and take a bath to change your clothes," Sun Yiyang said sullenly.

Sun Ze nodded and left the courtyard.

At this mont, Sun Yiyang looked at Zhongli Chenpu, and his face imdiately changed, "Isn't this Brother Zhongli? Long ti no see, long ti no see, why didn't you let know you were coming, so I could greet you at the door."

"We ca together, so there was no prior notice," Zhongli Chenpu replied with a smile.

He didn't ntion being turned away when he visited before.

At the sa ti, he didn't believe that Sun Yiyang truly wasn't aware of his previous visit.

So things are better left unsaid; knowing internally is enough, sparing both parties from embarrassnt.

"This ti I'm here for two reasons: to catch up and to seek your help with so ailnt of mine," Zhongli Chenpu bowed and went straight to the point.

They were both old foxes, knowing fully well that as long as he doesn't bring it up, Sun Yiyang would never inquire.

This was evident from their previous avoidance.

After hesitating for a mont, Sun Yiyang nodded and said, "We are old friends, I will certainly do my best. Brother Zhongli, please follow inside.

Little An, show our guests around a bit first."

After the two went inside, Zhao Guo'an gritted his teeth, pulling the silver needle out from his hand, and said, "Actually, there's not much to see, but since we've got nothing better to do, let's walk around."

Xiao Feng and Zhongli ng exchanged a glance, both nodding in agreent.

Besides the courtyard, Zhao Guo'an led them around the Sun Family estate, talking as they walked, "Actually, this estate was only built in recent years, and I haven't been here many tis, so I'm not that familiar.

There's a pavilion over there, let's go have so tea, and wait for my master and old Mr. Zhongli to finish their conversation."

Xiao Feng naturally had no objection, having watched enough of the show; enjoying so tea sounded nice.

anwhile, Zhongli ng sincerely said, "I really must thank you both this ti. If there's anything you need in the future, just let know."
