Holding the token, successfully leaving the Ancient Azure Dragon Clan, Ye Mo spread his wings, soared into the clouds, and vanished in a few flashes.
Ye Mo’s flight was no longer as reckless as before. Having reached the Cosmos Realm, he rged with the world, restraining his aura and flying at an incredible speed, making it difficult for ordinary Martial Artists to detect him.
He seed to beco a tiny particle between heaven and earth, concentrating all power into a single point, consuming no energy during his flight.
After a few hours of flying, realizing he had entered the region of Lingzhou, Ye Mo slowed down. Then he saw a sinister, towering, and rather dilapidated building standing out conspicuously in the distance.
The surrounding land was a barren desert, making the inn stand out naturally.
The inn was as large as a palace, surrounded by massive sandstorms. If not for Ye Mo’s Eye of the Divine Beast, it would have been difficult to spot the inn from the high skies.
In front of the inn stood a giant stone tablet, inscribed with four bold characters.
Death Inn!
These four characters even had bloodstains on them, exuding a chilling murderous aura, sending shivers down one’s spine.
More importantly, Martial Artists frequently entered the inn, all of whom were experts of the Cosmos Realm.
"I’ll go in to take a look after handling the matters with the Five Elent League!"
As Ye Mo was about to fly by, he spotted a familiar figure entering the inn—it was Hua Dong, the Sect Master of the Hua Sect.
Upon entering the inn, Hua Dong glanced around, showing a hesitant expression. After a mont of hesitation, he eventually entered the Death Inn.
Ye Mo’s mind stirred, and he flew over, descending from the sky.
Gazing at the bold characters on the stone tablet, Ye Mo felt a sense of hatred and bloodlust emanating from them. These characters contained a will similar to Ye Mo’s own Will of Slaughter. Those with weak cultivation would fall into a murderous frenzy just by gazing at these four characters.
The inn appeared extrely rundown on the outside, due to the sandstorm, covered with a layer of yellow sand.
However, as Ye Mo entered, he found the inn’s hall filled with a dozen simple tables and chairs, mostly occupied.
As soon as Ye Mo entered, all the Martial Artists within the hall scrutinized him with their Heart Force, seemingly wanting to see through him imdiately.
"Humph!"
Ye Mo snorted coldly, unleashing his eighth-order Heart Force, instantly scattering the seventh-order Heart Forces probing him. So with weak Heart Forces even had their blood energy upheavaled by Ye Mo’s Heart Force.
Many Martial Artists showed astonished expressions, retracting their gazes and resuming their drinking.
Ye Mo knew this inn was not to be underestimated. From these people’s auras, he could detect a killing aura; they were likely all desperados.
"Honored guest, may I ask what you’d like to eat?"
Suddenly, a shop assistant ca out with a grinning face, asking Ye Mo.
While speaking, the shop assistant led Ye Mo to an empty table just opposite the hall’s entrance.
"Bring so small dishes, anything will do."
Ye Mo sat down and imdiately asked, "The woman who entered just now, where did she go?"
"The woman? You an the one just now? She went up to the second floor. Why, are you also hiring an assassin?"
The shop assistant asked.
"Hiring an assassin? What’s that?"
Ye Mo inquired.
"The Martial Artists who co to our Death Inn are all desperados. Whoever you want to hire, as long as the price is right, they can kill whoever you want and directly bring the head to you."
The shop assistant replied honestly, having probed Ye Mo with his Heart Force earlier, knowing Ye Mo was also a tough character.
Just as he finished speaking, the inn’s door was smashed open with a loud bang, crashing heavily onto several Martial Artists. Those Martial Artists were about to get angry but trembled upon seeing the two figures standing at the entrance.
Originally sipping their drinks, the Martial Artists froze upon the entry of the two figures, as if the scene had co to a standstill.
The two newcors were incredibly strong, standing at over eight feet tall, bare-chested, with skin like granite. Every slight movent seed ready to unleash trendous power from their muscles.
The leading man was bald, with a few scars on his head, one of which extended from the top of his head to his left eye, which was completely cloudy.
The other man had an unremarkable appearance, but shockingly, his right hand was missing all his fingers.
The bald-headed man held a spherical object in his hand, wrapped in a black cloth, wet. It was unmistakably a human head.
"Whatever you do, don’t provoke these two. They’re the top assassins of our Death Inn, Blood Wolf and Evil Dog. In Lingzhou, they’re notorious killers. The head he’s carrying should be that of the Sect Master of the Black Water Sect. Evil Dog, being lascivious by nature, supposedly had his right-hand fingers chopped off by a female sect master whose rear end he touched."
The shop assistant whispered to Ye Mo.
"They’re the top assassins Blood Wolf and Mad Dog of the Death Inn. They took on a contract to kill the Sect Master of the Black Water Sect a few days ago. Could it be that the head they’re carrying is that of the Sect Master?"
"The Black Water Sect is a second-rate force in Lingzhou, and its Sect Master was an expert of the First Transformation of the Wheel of Reincarnation. Yet, he got killed just like that."
The two entered, prompting quiet discussions among so Martial Artists in the inn.
Blood Wolf and Evil Dog scanned the hall before locking their gazes on Ye Mo. They then strode towards him.
With each step Blood Wolf took, the ground shook with a resounding thump, resembling a large hamr pounding the earth, sending waves of shock through everyone, who instinctively recoiled.
Especially a man crouching in a corner of the hall, who hurriedly hid under a table.
Blood Wolf approached Ye Mo, placing the black-cloth-wrapped head on Ye Mo’s table and said coldly, "I’m taking this table. Scram!"
"Blood Wolf, over there is Deng Tao!"
Suddenly, Evil Dog pointed towards the hall’s corner.
"Deng Tao!"
Hearing this, Blood Wolf turned his gaze towards the hall’s corner, imdiately spotting a black-clad figure curled under a table, shivering uncontrollably.
"Evil Dog, kill him. How dare he steal our business! Kill!"
As soon as Blood Wolf’s words fell, Evil Dog leapt up with a swish, distorting the surrounding air. With a single slap, the corner table exploded.
"Get over here!"
Evil Dog roared, grabbing the figure by the neck, exuding a murderous aura, "Deng Tao, you dare to steal business from the two of us? Don’t you know the rules of the Death Inn?"
"Evil Dog, I was wrong, I was wrong. Please forgive . Treat like a fart and let go. I won’t dare again."
The man nad Deng Tao repeatedly begged in terror.
"Do you think that’s possible?"
Evil Dog sneered, squeezing his hand, instantly crushing Deng Tao’s throat. A spray of blood erupted from Deng Tao’s neck, splattering everywhere.
A Martial Artist of the Qiankun Ninth Rotation was just like that, with everyone watching, his throat crushed by Evil Dog. The entire hall fell into icy silence, and no one dared to utter a single sound.
