The Frozen Palace has been on the Pleasure Valley’s bad side for ages. The two fought each other often, which they were now doing at the mont because of Cai Ling.
Cai Ling led Ye Mo through the forest with her outstanding perception as Ye Mo followed with caution. After a few minutes, they were clear of the forest.
“Another hour and we’ll arrive at the Pleasure City,” Cai Ling said as she wanted to ask Ye Mo for his opinion. “If we want to head to the Won City, we’ll have to go through that city.”
With her beauty and the cuffs on her legs and arms, Cai Ling would stand out. Trouble would follow if she were found out in the city.

It was normal attire in the Tianwu Kingdom and shouldn’t attract much attention in the city.
After an hour of walking, they arrived at the city. A few guards with spears in their hands were monitoring the people going in and out of the city.
The guards were all around Spirit Cultivating Sixth or Seventh Realm. They were stronger than what Ye Mo would have usually seen in the Listone City.
Ye Mo and Cai Ling walked towards the gate while their hearts beat faster than usual. Yet the guards did not pay them much attention, and they successfully went into the city.
Ye Mo let out a breath of relief and led Cai Ling to the opposite gate. They would be safe if they were able to make it through the next gate.
“Hey, there’s a Cursed Pearl being auctioned off at the Pleasure Society,” Ye Mo said when he heard soone ntioning an auction. “I’ve heard that it has absorbed the hatred and curses from the heaven and earth. A few powerful clans are fighting over it as we speak. If the pearl were to be used to train a Martial Technique, that technique could be rged with the Cursed Will!”
“It’s easier said than done,” another person said. “If the warrior fails to control the will, it will consu them!”
“Yes, but you can get so much from it that it’s worth the risk. The young masters from the Tie clan and the Mu clan are both eying the pearl.”
Cursed? Ye Mo stopped and suddenly thought of sothing. Blood, curses, and wraith, they were all the sa thing, the power of the dark. The Sky Blood got its power from killing thousands, and the Cursed Pearl from being cursed. Even if it was the weakest of all dark powers, it was still one of the Evil Energies.
Ling’er had once told Ye Mo that for the Sky Blood spear to regain its forr power, it had to absorb a huge amount of dark energy.
Ye Mo began to think about the possibility that the Cursed Pearl could be used to enhance the Sky Blood Spear as the Evil Pearl was too powerful for Ye Mo to control.
The Sky Blood Spear might be able to regain its Spiritual Weapon powers by absorbing the Cursed Pearl and awakening the rage of the spearhead.
“Cai Ling,” Ye Mo suddenly called out. “I think we should stay here for a while. The possibility that the Valley Lord will notice that you’ve escaped is very high. If that’s true, then he will send more guards to the Northern Gate, maybe even to the Frozen Area. The most dangerous place is also the safest place to hide. Let’s stay here for a few days. Cai Ling had heard of reforging or refining a weapon before, like mixing a rare material into a Low-grade Magical Weapon which would produce a Middle-grade Magical Weapon. It was her first ti hearing that a Magical Weapon could be enhanced into a Spiritual Weapon.
Spiritual Weapons were rare treasures that only few in all of the Tianwu Kingdom could wield.
“That’s right,” Ye Mo said. “Let’s get to the Pleasure Society now.”
Without wasting any ti, Ye Mo asked for directions and went straight to the Pleasure Society.
