The petal sword dispersed as the rock broke into small pieces.

Hua Musang was standing on the side as she clapped.
“Cuican, looks like you’ve completely mastered the Second Realm,” Hua Musang smiled. “One hit from you, and that girl would just die.”
“I’ve always stood beneath Qing Qing, but now that I’ve completely mastered the Energy Shaping Second Realm under your guidance, I can defeat her with just a flick of my finger,” Hua Cuican said. “With grandma as the new City Lord, the Won City will definitely beco stronger. I still don’t get why Cai Ling never took a step forward even when she’s so strong.”

“I will!”

“But why?”

Both of them flew down from the mountain and went back to the Won City.
When they reached the city gate, the guy in the white shirt with the white fan was there to rechallenge the Illusion Circle. But he was thrown out from the circle after a few minutes as the girl watching him laughed.
The guy had been challenging the circle non-stop for the past few days. Even though he never passed the circle, he did not give up, warranting admiration from the girls watching.
“Still no good!” the guy scolded as he got up from the ground. “That guy from before is just way too strong! How did he get past those beasts? Is the spear behind his back really a Spiritual Weapon?”
Even though he was speaking to himself in a low voice, Hua Musang had heard it.
“Hey, did you say the guy from before passed the circle’s first test?” Hua Musang asked in surprise.
“Not only the first test, but he also passed them all!”
The news struck both Hua Musang and Hua Cuican like a hamr hitting them.
There were only two people who had passed the Illusion Circle in the past hundred years. It was clear as day how hard it was to achieve that.
“Are you sure?” Hua Musang scolded as he grabbed the guy by his collar. “Was it that guy dressed in black? Dark eyes and hair? With a blue spear on his back?”
“Yes, that’s him! The guards have seen him too.”
“Elder Hua, there indeed was a man who’d passed the Illusion Circle,” one of the guards said. “He ca with the City Lord, and he seed close to her. Even though he’s a Spirit Cultivating Seventh Realm warrior, he passed the tests like a breeze.”
“Damn it!” Hua Musang cursed. “Cuican! Let’s go back!”
Hua Musang sat in her living room with a darkened face.
“Grandma, what’s wrong?” Hua Cuican asked.
“Do you rember when I told you how Cai Ling suddenly appeared when I was fighting Liu Qingcheng yesterday? Well, there was a guy beside Cai Ling, and he’s really smart. He stopped our fight with just one sentence!”
“How is that possible? He stopped your fight with just a sentence?”
Hua Musang nodded and told her the reason why the Hua fraction and Liu fraction were fighting.
“Are you suspecting that the guy beside Cai Ling is the guy who passed the Illusion Circle?” Hua Cuican asked in awe as she suddenly understood the situation. “But how is that possible? There’s no way a 15 years old kid could do that!”
“Anything is possible. If I’m not wrong, Cai Ling agreed to the fight because she’s planning to use that guy to fight in Qing Qing’s place.”
“Aren’t you worrying too much? He’s just a Spirit Cultivating Seventh Realm warrior, there’s no way that he could defeat Energy Shaping Realm warriors.”
“Did you forget what I’ve taught you? Never look down on your opponent. Cai Ling would never agree to a fight where she’ll lose.”
Hua Cuican nodded at her grandmother’s words.
“We can’t afford to lose this match,” Hua Musang warned. “If we lose, the Hua fraction will die in our own hands.”
“I know. I won’t go easy on them!”
“Try and train more. I’ll go to the market and see if I can get a charm that’s effective but won’t cost too much energy to use. That charm will be our secret weapon.”
Hua Musang quickly left her mansion and rushed to the market. It was crowded with people, all of them won. So were from other cities trying to make a living there.
Hua Musang went through the stalls that were selling charms one by one until she laid her eyes on a piece of charm that was radiating a faint cold mist. It was her first ti seeing the charm and believed that it was a rare charm.
“What is this?” Hua Musang asked as she pointed at the charm. “Can you tell its effect?”
“This is a charm that I just got my hands on,” the old woman who was tending the store smiled. “The seller said that it was a Rank One Charm called the Heavenly Frost Charm. Even though it’s a Rank One Charm, it needs the user to be at least an Energy Shaping Realm to use it. Even an Energy Shaping Realm warrior could be frozen by this charm.”
“I knew it! The aura from this charm is different. I’ll take it!”
