The fus dissipated under Ye Mo’s counterattack, but the masked man only smirked, and with a twist of his hand, the gas reassembled into the shape of an enormous bell. The bell swept towards Ye Mo, the pythons on its surface hissing and puffing poison gas.
“Thundering Python Bell?” Xiao Yue’s face paled as she realized what the bell was. She hastily cried, “Wu Qing, don’t hurt him, he’s my friend!”
The other custors in Hundred Treasure Pavilion began to gather at the scene, but no one intervened as Thundering Python Bell was a martial technique of at least Spiritual level.

The bell exploded, and Ye Mo erged from the shattered remains like a black dragon, Formation-Breaking Spear in hand, aiming for the masked man.

Seeing the masked man leave, Xiao Yue let out a sigh of relief. “Ye Mo, are you alright?” she asked worriedly.
“I’m fine. That guy can’t hurt . Actually, why was he with you?” asked Ye Mo expectantly.
“Ye Mo, he is the skilful martial artist mother hired for tomorrow’s Scavenger Hunt. He’s in Spirit Cultivating Ninth Realm, and I don’t think that was even the full extent of his powers we saw just now,” said Xiao Yue anxiously, thinking about the masked man’s words.
“Spirit Cultivating Ninth Realm? That’s nothing. But I really think you should be wary of him,” said Ye Mo. He continued, “did you co here to buy sothing?”
