The air tingled with uncertainty even as the atmosphere grew more electric.
The bizarre humanoid machine and robot inspired fear in so of the human leaders.
In this world, it was unlike anything they had ever seen before. It was jarring to see machines take the human form as if they were living and alive. It was frightening to know that man needed to occupy these so-called CHAS in order to wield them.
However, not all of them were unfamiliar with the concept.
"This..." A stunned whisper escaped Rui.
He recognized what he saw.
His mories from another world contained many fictional works featuring humanoid robots, commonly known as chs, piloted by human beings. Despite his familiarity with the fictional concept, he was just as shocked, if not even more shocked than the leaders of human civilization.
The Esoterist smirked as he silently basked in the shock and turmoil that brooded amongst his audience.
"You might think that my words were an exaggeration," he remarked. "But, I'm afraid that they weren't. These weapons will go on to beco the most powerful weapons in all of human civilization due to being able to harness all dinsions of human potential and esoteric technological potential."
These were extrely bold words.
Certainly, his prior explanation and breakdown on Martial and non-Martial technology clearly highlighted why these so-called CHAS were special. However, nobody had any concrete idea why these machines were able to harness both potentials, unlike all other weapons in existence.
In addition, they had no idea what it ant practice in so far as the output that these machines seed capable of producing.
Just how much more superior were these so-called CHAS compared to other forms of weapons?
How strong were they relative to Martial Artists?
There were too many uncertainties and unknowns for the leaders of human civilization to truly comprehend what all of this ant as far as its impact on human civilization went. Coupled with the dire circumstances, they could not make up their mind on these CHAS. "I'm aware that all of you have many questions to ask," the Esoterist noted. "I intend to address all of them. For now, I intend to dive deeper into the fundantal structure and the design paradigm that I have developed for CHAS at this point in ti. I will explain exactly how it works and how it is able to harness both human and technological potential."
He waved his hand, causing the other projections to disappear as a simple illustration appeared on the screen behind him.
It was an elentary diagram of a CHA with labeled parts.
"The fundantal structure of a CHA is simple," he began. "The most important and fundantal part of a CHA is the engine-core. There is a reason that the engine core is ntioned in the technical na of this technology, the chanical Engine-Core Humanoid Armor. The engine-core is the component of the CHA that is able to harness the full potential of the human or Martial body. You see, this component is responsible for generating the power of the CHA and..."
His gaze returned to all of them. "It does this by absorbing power generated by a Martial Artist and amplifying it."
A wave of surprise swept through the Human Summit as they grew engrossed by his fascinating exposition.
"The engine-core of the CHA essentially treats the pilot of the CHA as a source of fuel, as an engine. It absorbs all their physical power through a complex set of principles based on collision chanics and kinematics that allows the CHA to be powered by the physical power of the pilot amplified by esoteric technology cores that also generate a proportional amount of power to the CHA pilot or CHA Martial Artist," he explained with an academic tone. "In other words, the CHA, in so sense, is as strong as the CHA pilot is. And it is precisely this principle that allows the CHA to truly harness human potential." Many grew fascinated by this strange weapon that the Esoterist had introduced to them all. A weapon that treated the physical body of the pilot as the engine!
Nobody had even conceived of such an idea to allow machines to harness the physical potential of the human body.
"This is how I sought to fix the biggest weakness of esoteric technology," he explained. "Esoteric energy sources cannot be the primary driving power source of a CHA if CHAS are to harness the full physical potential of Martial Artists. With the engine-core, a CHA is just like a sword; it is only as weak as the CHA pilot."
He zood in on the engine-core in the illustration, allowing the leaders of the human civilization to get a good look at exactly how this chanism functioned.
To their surprise, the engine-core of the CHA suspended the pilot in a sphere of an esoteric liquid.
"This esoteric liquid belongs to a class of esoteric substances known as non-fluidic elastic liquids," the Esoterist went on. "They have two broad properties, the first is that they are extrely efficient in their conduction of pressure and sound, able to propagate the latter to extraordinary distances with very little energy loss. And the second is that they are extrely viscous; they offer extre resistance to all motion. These properties make them absolutely perfect for absorbing the energy of the movents of the pilot and propagating them without any energy loss."
He highlighted the barrier of the engine-core. "The barrier is also made up of an esoteric substance that absorbs pressure and sound delivered by the esoteric liquid and can redirect that power to any part of the CHA using a complex hydraulic system to cleanly transmit power across the CHA. And thus..."
He smiled confidently. "The CHA is able to smoothly absorb the power of the CHA pilot and use it to power its movents."
He made what seed like an impossible task sound extrely simple. Indeed, it took the genius of the Esoterist to apply esoteric technology with a radically different underlying philosophy and create CHAS that could harness human potential as well as swords could!
