Surprisingly, he didn't find himself too opposed to this arrangent. It truly was trivial as far as its burden on him. Breakthroughs could be conducted rather swiftly, and once a year, they were hardly too frequent.

"Alright," Rui nodded. "Once a year, I will break through as many martial artists as possible at that point in ti in the Sekigahara Confederate. But, this agreent needs to be kept secret, got it?"

This was a less favorable condition, but it was still more than welco to the clan leaders of the Sekigahara Confederate.

"Those conditions are acceptable, Prince Rui," Patriarch Shinken was clearly pleased with having extracted such a juicy form of compensation from the Dawnbringer. "Let us conclude this agreent and officially commit to it."

What followed was an extensive session of ironing out the details. Rui wanted to make sure that there was absolutely no avenue of exploitation where they could get more out of it than the spirit of the agreent.

He knew that while they would most certainly try to fight for more, he strictly refused to share, comrcialize, or trade his services. He refused them the right to advertise it to gain more Martial Artists. He refused them the right to increase the number of Martial Artists in their nation through other ans to increase the number of breakthroughs that they made. After an extensive session of negotiations, they had finally formally agreed upon all the details.

"We are truly happy that we have been able to erge from this fiasco with even stronger ties, Prince Rui," the patriarch of the Shinken Clan shalessly wore a pleasant smile now that the agreent could not be revoked. "We hope that the Kandrian Empire will accept our bid for an alliance. Together, the Sekigahara Confederate and Kandrian Empire will surely prosper."

"The Kandrian Empire will prosper regardless," Rui grumbled, slightly shaking his head. "Enough with the small talk. Let's get to business. I have completed all my personal consumption of the fruits of healing. Now, I intend to fulfill my end of the bargain and finish what I ca here for."

The clan leaders grew more enthused at his words.

"Gather all your explorer students, high-grade Squires, and high-grade Seniors," Rui replied. "I will break all who are fit to be broken through to a higher Realm together."

And that was exactly what they said.

In a field with nearly ten thousand aspiring students, nearly a thousand high-grade Squires, and nearly a hundred high-grade Seniors, Rui imdiately comnced the breakthroughs for all of them simultaneously as he activated his Martial Mind, placing all of them in a powerful hypnosis.

The clan leaders had personally gathered on the sidelines in their carriages to witness the process.

Their eyes widened with shock as they beheld breakthroughs springing through the crowd like popping popcorn.

Within hour, they had thousands of new Apprentices, a hundreds new Seniors, and dozens of new Masters.

The ergence of new Masters brought tears to the eyes of the clan leaders of the Sekigahara Confederate. Ever since they had lost a hundred Martial Masters in the Sekigahara-Kandria battle of 559 AOMA, they had been painfully lacking in Masters. This wound had only beco even more painful upon the suggested unified Sage-level taskforce to take on the quasi- Transcendent beasts and monsters.

And now, a part of that wound had finally healed with the ergence of new Masters.

The blessings of the Dawnbringer graced the entire nation.

"Alright, now gather all the Masters who aren't fighting here," Rui impatiently instructed them. "I want to deal with this as quickly as possible."

Unfortunately, with the Masters fighting at the frontlines, this would take longer than he had hoped for.

But less than a day later, he had finally completed the things that he had co to the Sekigahara Confederate for in the first place. He had given them more Martial Masters and Martial Artists in general while also embedding the Hellbringer model in all of them.

In return, the Sekigahara Confederate would reparate for all its cris against the Kandrian Empire and commit to the unified Sage-level taskforce his father had proposed to all of human civilization.

There were also other things that Sekigahara Confederate had committed to.

"We will ensure that the Water Sect will flourish in the Sekigahara Confederate," the clan leaders promised. "Construction has already begun, and we have coordinated with Guildmaster Bradt on the delivery of the proprietary Water Sect training and growth technology. We cannot promise how popular it will be given our bumpy history; however, in the Era of Darkness, all previous conflicts have grown insignificant in the face of the single greatest apocalypse that human civilization has ever faced. We hope that the Water Sect will serve as a bridge to the Kandrian Empire."

Rui nodded. "It will. You will be able to achieve your goal of joining the Kandrian Alliance through the Water Sect. Additionally, I would recomnd that you don't just adopt my solutions but also that of the Estorist's as well."

Their expressions grew complicated. "About that, Prince Rui..."

"Let guess," Rui snorted. "All Martial Artists in the Sekigahara Confederate universally hate CHAS."

He wouldn't have brought up this topic if he wasn't having a private word with the clan leaders away from any Martial Artists.

They heaved a tired sigh. "The Sages have expressly declared that CHAS are abominations of a weapon. They have also declared that CHA Martial Artists are not 'real' Martial Artists. They also have the unilateral consensus of all Martial Artists in the Sekigahara Confederate." "It sounds like they haven't ordered you not to pursue CHA, however," Rui raised an eyebrow.

"They... reluctantly and grudgingly recognize that they can be useful. They just find the llifelesshumanoid CHA body to be repulsive and a disgusting replacent over focus on the human body," the matriarch of the Nindo Clan quietly inford Rui. "They have not explicitly prohibited us from embracing CHAS."

While the leaders of the Martial Union were also highly reluctant, they still ultimately recognized their own biases and decided to go full throttle with embracing this new weapon.

The sa could not be said for the Martial leaders of the Sekigahara Confederate.
