There were more neuron connections in the brain than atoms in the entire universe.

A tsunami of neuron impulses flooded his entire brain as the sheer electrical current flowing through his head increased exponentially.
An avalanche of neuron impulses starting from the pons, the dulla, the cerebellar cortex flowed through the cerebellum, the occipital lobe, through the parietal lobe and the central sulcus of the mid-brain, and into the cerebral cortex, frontal lobe and the temporal lobe of the cerebrum.
An extraordinary amount of information flooded across the sum totality of his mind and brain.
His environntal awareness elevated to an entirely different Realm of fathoming.
His conscious perception of the world surged to a dinsion of its own. His understanding of the very ontology of the universe evolved beyond mortal fathoming.
He could see the flow of causality from the distant past, trickling through him as a nexus into the distant future.
He could behold materia at its very root.
What he once perceived as solid matter comprised of solid fundantal particles that banded together to form atoms and molecules were actually simply energy at their very essence.
They were fields of energy.
Quantum fields of energy that interacted with the Higgs field and the strong nuclear force that gave them the physicality and substance that he perceived as 'mass' and matter.
Everything was energy.
Everything was a wave, a field, and a particle.
What they were depended on whether or not they were being observed.
What the universe was dependent on was whether it was being observed.
The universe only existed because Rui was there to observe it.
He was the protagonist not just of his own life, but of the very universe itself.
