The Devil smiled with a trendous ferocity as he unleashed an ungodly onslaught of power upon Rui with a fierce frequency of attacks that threatened to end the battle where he stood.

The Devil froze in his tracks as the maelstrom of Water that erged from Rui's Martial Embodint shifted and converged upon him, flooding his mind with a trendous flux of information.
The sheer tsunami of information that converged upon the Devil was so intense that not even the Devil was able to easily overco it.
This opened a crucial window of opportunity.
One that Rui had no intention of letting go.

A trendous Yin-Yang World Spear blasted into the Devil's body as he still reeled from the sheer onslaught of information that converged upon him. Impact after impact, Rui's powerful fists blasted into the Devil, bombarding him with great force and speed as he maintained his powerful information sabotage hypnosis to incapacitate the Devil for as long as possible.
Rui's eyes sharpened with great ferocity as he unleashed an extraordinary barrage of attacks, trying to weather down the invincible Devil with one attack after another. He couldn't allow the Devil to return to the previous flow of the battle, where he mysteriously 'destroyed' Rui's actions in a way that almost defied causality.
In fact, Rui might have considered it to be pure magic if not for the SOUL System that allowed him to perceive the Devil's mind.
He could see that the man truly was doing sothing to 'destroy' his actions.
What Rui underestimated, however, was how easy it was for the Devil to engage in this special form of 'destruction' even when incapacitated.

It had been destroyed, yet again.
The Devil grinned as he surged forth, even as his mind reeled from the sheer onslaught of information that Rui dumped on him, relying instead on pure subconscious instinct to fight instead of conscious thought.

Rui gritted his teeth as a thundering fist ravaged his guard with incredibly intense destruction, launching him away even as the Devil chased after him across the large open training field with several attacks at the ready.
The SOUL System tingled as Rui felt it coming up again.
"Destroy." The Devil grinned.
Rui's body froze.

A thundering attack ravaged him once more as even Weaving Blood struggled to heal his damage.
"Destroy. Destroy. Destroy. Destroy!" the Devil roared with excitent as he ravaged Rui's body with attack after attack, incapacitating him by destroying his attacks at their root.
That was a mistake.
Rui's blood-red eyes lit up with enlightennt as he observed the special magical attack that allowed him to destroy non-material things like actions. The more he observed the Devil with the Prophecy of the Void and the SOUL System, the deeper an understanding he gained.
"Destroy."

This ti, Rui managed to move ever so slightly to shift the collision to minimize the damage, much to the delight of the Devil.
"Hahaha!" the Devil laughed away with ecstasy and excitent. "You're the best, Rui Quarrier! I wish this fight continues forever!"

His expression collapsed as a thundering strike almost teleported to his gut, leaving him reeling in a thunderingly intense impact to the vitals. "I see…" A faint murmur escaped Rui as his blood-red eyes flared with a profound sense of enlightennt. "I'm starting to understand how you 'destroy.'"
It reminded him of the Gu.
A countless myriad of events on a physical, biological, chemical, thermodynamic, and even quantum level are associated with the very concept of 'death', all contained within a single poison.
With the Devil, he harnessed physical phenona associated with Destruction. What was destruction?
Was it simply a big boom?
Was it only when there was a crater left behind by an enormous teorite?
No.
As a concept, devastation was much broader.
It was when the nervous system failed to send a signal to the muscles, causing an attack to be 'destroyed.'
It was when one's muscles were saturated with lactic acid that they failed to respond to neuron impulses from the brain, causing an evasive motion to be destroyed.
It was when one's muscles experienced a pronounced sense of weakness, causing a defensive motion to be destroyed.
If one had an affinity for the concept of destruction, and said concept of destruction eclipsed a wide variety of phenona, then there was only one natural conclusion to be drawn.

A chilling whisper escaped the Devil as he used a myriad high principles on the quantum level, including entanglent and tunneling, as well as a myriad of other principles ranging from gravitational, electromagnetic, or plain old force to trigger the 'destruction' of Rui's motions in his body.

The very next, his cells would fail on a biochemical level, failing to create the ATP needed to move.
It was all part of destruction.
At his level, Damian had co to master the causality of destruction. He had co to master exactly how he needed to alter the flow of causality on a fundantal level to produce outcos that could be conceptualized as 'Destruction.'
It was truly incredible.
And yet, Rui had no intention of giving up.
His eyes flared with a blood-red glow that intensified as he fought with a visceral intensity, unleashing a myriad of blows one after another to ravage the Devil's tough body and incapacitate him with an even stronger Void of Water.
