The Martial Sages felt chills crawling across their entire skin as they retreated as fast as they possibly could, returning to the periphery of the battlefield as they beheld the changes the eldritch chira with a grave expression.

A roar of pure jubilation and triumph erged from the creature even as it shed all the Gu-infected flesh, even as new flesh began rapidly regenerating and replacing the old. "Long-range Martial Sages, we mustn't let the monster complete its change. Act now before it's too late!" Bodhisattva Maitreyi urged her fellow long-range Martial Sages even as she unleashed an extraordinary blast of suprely intense light at the eldritch chira, hoping to impede its tamorphosis.
A looming sense of heavy desperation bore heavily on the atmosphere as the Martial Sages of human civilization unleashed every ounce of power they could from a long-range distance.

The sheer onslaught that the Martial Sages unleashed upon the transforming eldritch chira was so great that almost any other creature in the world would have been reduced to dust.
And yet, it wasn't enough.
The blood-red Suns shining in Rui's eyes bore witness to the future itself as he raised his
hands, using his temporary mastery of the Gu to summon the Gu from all the shed flesh. RUMBLE!!!!!
A wave of gaseous and liquid darkness trickled its way back to him, returning to his body with an ominous aura of death.
He had grown stronger.
And yet, the sa was even more true from the eldritch chira that completed its tamorphosis.

The world shook as a creature that once had one trillion lifeforms assimilated into its very being was now limited to just one million. It had adaptively evolved to the Gu in a manner similar to Rui, where instead of using it as a Darwinian filter for its cells, it used it as a Darwinian filter for each of the trillion lifeforms in its body.
An entire biosphere and ecosystem had been put through a horrifying, lethal grinder of the survival of the fittest, and only one million lifeforms out of one trillion survived. "...It must have used the power of the hive hybrid forest species," Blood Lord Vrukshus remarked with a grave expression. "It allows for the eldritch chira to repurpose biomatter very efficiently to regenerate and heal"
In this case, the eldritch chira used it to regenerate the one million surviving species and lifeforms, using them as building blocks to replace the obsolete dead gu-infected flesh that it had shed.

Even as the Martial Sages of human civilization unleashed attack after attack to inflict as much damage on the eldritch chira, the creature ignored their assaults as it completed its tamorphosis, restoring its entire body and achieving a more evolved and cohesive form with greater and superior flesh constituting its entire body.
Its appearance grew even more grotesque.
It shifted its one million eyes to towards the Martial Sages of human civilization as shivers crawled down their spine with the sheer intensity of the monstrous and inhuman bloodlust that the creature contained within its depths.

The world shook violently as a million attacks, each as powerful as that of a Martial Sage, volleyed across the battlefield, unleashing trendous damage to the pristinely
preserved Lost City.
"Rrgghh!"
"Aahrhrhh!"
"Its power has grown more concentrated and controlled!"
Before, each of its attacks was a chaotic maelstrom, born from trillions and trillions of attacks stitched together haphazardly.
That had been hard enough to deal with.
Now, however, it was comprised of only a million attacks, each from a powerful creature
that was nothing short of an apex predator in its respective habitat.
The Martial Sages gritted their teeth as they faced an unfathomable tsunami of trendously powerful attacks, so of the most powerful attacks in the entirety of the Beast Domain.
The fire breath of a dragon.
The poison of a basilisk.
The frost of the jotuns.
The earth of the golems.
And the heaven of angels.
Each were attacks that the Martial Sages had faced in the past, in the ten years that they
had spent sieging the Central Highlands of the Beast Domain.
But they had never dealt with them in the millions.

The intensity of each attack had risen to vastly greater numbers, allowing the transford eldritch chira to focus its attacks on each individual with much greater
ease and accuracy.
The defensive Martial Sages across the scattered Martial Sages of human civilization
were pushed to the very limit as the very fabric of space and ti quaked perilously under the sheer weight of the onslaught of energy that the eldritch chira unleashed
upon all of them.
And yet, even as it assaulted all the Martial Sages, its focus was fixed on one and only
one among them.
All million of its eyes shifted towards Rui as the murderous inhuman bloodlust in its eyes shifted towards the blood-red Suns that shined with blinding brightness in the depths of
his eyes.

Rui's left foot was set forward as his right foot moved back, his hands balled into fists as one found itself coiled and wound backwards, tucked at his waist all ready to launch a fearso attack while the other arm was placed before him defensively.
He adopted his classic stance, one of a balance between maneuvering, offense, and
defense.
The blood-red Suns in his eyes flared with determination and power as a single
challenge escaped him.

The creature couldn't speak the Kandrian dialect.
And yet, it sensed the challenging deanor and body language and of the Dawnbringer.
It accepted the challenge, unleashing a million Sage-level attacks towards him.
