There were other possibilities, of course.

Theoretically, the truth could be virtually anything.

They were dealing with a different world with different species with different materials and with significantly greater technology.

However, the Emperor of Harmony was relatively certain that the truth was sowhere along the spectrum of the two possibilities that he ntioned.

In both cases, there were precious insights and intel into the true world civilizations that they were dealing with that could help them form more tailored counter-strategic strategies against their presud entities.

"The Esocline Federation and the Kandrian Empire is currently digging through everything it can about the true world civilizations as much as it can from the aircraft and we should be able to learn more once the entity wakes up—"

BZZZT!

The Emperor of Harmony quickly read through the ssages on his commpad as his eyes lit up with ecstasy.

"Ah…" he murmured with anticipation in his tone. "The entity has finally woken up.

Far away in the Esocline Federation within its very heart in an extraordinarily powerful, secure, and well-isolated chamber, the alien entity opened its blood-red eyes slowly.

It found itself in an alien space it didn't recognize.

It found its body in pain.

As thought several organs in its body were extracted with force and haste.

It found its body strapped with powerful alien matter that shackled it to an uncomfortable seat.

Red blood was caked across its entire skin.

It wasn't just its own blood.

It was the blood of the Martial Masters and Sage it had killed.

Its vision was hazy, as was its mind.

It didn't even know what had happened or where it was.

And then it rembered.

The gallant indigenous who had sacrificed his life to stop itself followed by the native female who has dismantled it in combat with ease.

Its eyes widened with alarm as its body jolted.

It instantly tried activating its cultivation core.

It was gone.

The very source of its power, cultivated over centuries, was gone.

It was powerless.

It its head, hanging down, shot up, turning about with alarm as it found itself drowned darkness in a chamber with dim lighting. A room empty save for a table and chairs across its own shackled seat.

It was alone.

But not really.

VMMM!

An automated sliding door opened smoothly, unveiling two individuals and several assistants behind them. The entity's cybernetic eyes whirred as its chanical pupils shifted to focus on the two individuals.

The man in front gave it the chills.

He was young.

His eyes and hair were blood-red.

The very foundation of his body conveyed a far greater power lurking within it than the woman beside him, who rely donned a long, orange cloth wrapping extensively across her entire torso, hips, and legs; the ethnic attire of the Gen Temple.

The Psycher smiled chillingly at the entity with a piercing gaze.

A piercing gaze that made the entity feel transparent.

Naked.

"Hello there," the Psycher remarked with a friendly tone as he walked over, taking a seat across a table from the foreign entity. "I am the Psycher. And this here…"

He gestured to the woman. "…is the Linguister."

His profound blood-red eyes returned to the foreign entity.

"How do you feel?"

The foreign entity simply gazed at the two of them with grim severity.

"Our reports say that you have great analytical intelligence," the Psycher continued with a calm, chilling tone. "That you were able to speak so words of our language after decoding it. That is quite remarkable, but…"

The Psycher gazed at him with a profoundly knowing gaze as his smile deepened.

"That isn't true, is it?"

The entity narrowed his eyes.

"I can tell just by studying you that your communicative analytical intelligence isn't high enough to study our behaviors and actions and deduce our spoken language," he remarked. "Although it is hard to draw your attention with those chanical eyes of yours. But the Esoterist has already deduced that they were implanted and are not a part of your physiology. Which ans even if those artificial eyes of yours have great sensory input, your mind would still treat them like regular eyes."

The Psycher leaned forward with a knowing smile. "That is what allows to deduce that you aren't as intelligent as previously reported. You haven't once studied my breathing or the non-verbal communication that I have presented to you. I have been putting out an extrely subtle bloodlust, and yet, you have not reacted."

The Psycher gazed at the battered and handicapped entity shackled to his chair. "…You are simply inept. And yet, the records show that you have indeed spoken a few words of our language. Therefore, I can only infer that that has co from elsewhere."

The Psycher pulled out a commpad from a pocket in his coat, pulling up an image of the alien aircraft and showing it to the foreign entity. "…Perhaps from so advanced processing unit within the aircraft?"

The image evoked just the mildest and most subtle of reactions.

Yet, the Psycher didn't miss it.

Neither did the Linguister, despite being new to the role of an immortal sage and a regular human for all practical purposes.

"We have gained so data on its non-verbal communication," the woman noted with a calm tone. "Perhaps we should attempt to try and find a corresponding word in the gathered foreign scripts to find a match."

Ordinarily, decoding an entirely alien language from a silent prisoner was almost impossible.

And yet, the immortal sages were not constrained by the sa limits that normal human experts were.

The Psycher, with so help from the Linguister, had co up with a thod of decoding the language despite the silence of their prisoner of war.

The thod was simple in principle.

Using images, they would gauge his reaction and his non-verbal communication to several objects and substances. Things like his aircraft, water, land, sea, death and life and so on and so forth. They would obtain unique non-verbal communication signatures for each stimulus.

Then, they could show him words and sentences obtained from his script as well as the sounds that he made during his battle and correlate his non-verbal communication with the data collected prior and identify a correlation between the images they showed him and his language.
