Rui could believe that.

In the ti that he had spent among them, he had discovered that no part of their love and bond with nature was fake. Even as he studied the vessel before him, he could tell that she was telling the truth with her mind sense.

"But do the other races actually accept this?" Rui raised an eyebrow. "Like, I would imagine they simply can’t afford to tolerate eleven biotechnology on their continent, no?"

"That’s true, it is indeed a difficult when so many nations and races are so viscerally resistant to our gifts," she heaved a lanting sigh. "However, it is very difficult to stop us, you might be shocked to learn. Our botanical biotechnology is by far the most supre. We are light years ahead of peers, to the point that even when we release old blueprints, most civilizations are too incompetent in botanical biotechnology to actually make use of them."

"We’re definitely in that group, we humans," Rui admitted. "In fact, botanical biotechnology isn’t really even a field of technology for us yet."

"Well, that can change, and as civilizations trade technology, that is bound to change." She smiled at him. "As for our seeding program, it is actually partially a success. Many civilizations, like the Imperial Tekvorian Federation and the Evolutionary Army, are absolutely against it and do everything in their power to stop it, but not all other civilizations are this viscerally opposed. For instance..."

She raised a finger. "The giants welco it. They consu all life and thus the ’replenishnt’ that our continents send them is very beneficial to them, so they welco it and allow it to happen to sate their endless hunger."

Rui’s eyes lit up. "That ans you elves can function on Samarkha to a much greater extent than you can on other continents, right?"

She nodded. "That is correct. Samarkha is not the worst place an elf can find herself in. Another group of people who welco our transmigrate flora are the therianthropes. After all, fauna depends on flora to survive far more than the other way around. Without flora, the entire food chain would collapse, and the beasts would not be able to live in their organic environnts. We even have a partnership with them where we send them spores that adaptively evolve to the environnt to ensure that it doesn’t disrupt the precious ecosystems they create ,to ensure that their beasts grow up in the perfect environnt. The dwarves are neutral. While hybrid species like the skinwalkers and the sentinels are also quite receptive to our flora and welco the gift."

"...I see," Rui remarked with a fascinated tone. "I guess it’s not that bad to be an elf in this world."

"Don’t do that." She instructed him, shaking her head. "Don’t pity us using your own value system. To you, it might seem unfortunate that elves are not able to use our power as well outside our continent, but we do not wish to dominate others using military power. Or, at least..."

She winced. "We of West Genora don’t wish to dominate others using military technology. That is why you shouldn’t say things like us. No dark elf regrets being born an elf in this world. We have the largest continent. We have the largest civilization. We have an impregnable and invincible defense and dominance on this continent to the point that both the Evolutionary Army and the Imperial Tekvorian Federation have given up. We lead purposeful and aningful lives in the service of nature and our sisters, and are happy and content. Many other

Rui’s eyebrow rose with interest at those words. "And what about the elves of East Genora then? How do they differ from you, dark elves, in that regard?"

"...In many ways, they are identical to us," she remarked with a pensive tone. "...However, there is one crucial difference, as you already know, in our relationship with the rest of the world."

"I know, they don’t like eting other races. They are misanthropes outside of elves, basically."

"It’s not just that," she shook her head. "They aren’t simply proud of our elven race and culture. They believe that we are genetically superior. That our Nature Path is superior to all other Paths. And they believe that they have a responsibility to bring the world back to nature. Thus, although they are disgusted by war as all of us elves are, their disgust does not necessarily prevent them from taking military action to enforce their culture on lesser beings."

"...aning?"

"The largest reason that they don’t get into military conflicts isn’t because of their aversion to war, but because they aren’t strong enough to force the world back into the way of nature as all our ancestors once were," she replied with a regretful tone. "If they possessed the power they needed, then they would take over the world and force elven civilization on all other species of womankind."

"...Interesting," Rui’s eyes lit up with fascination and amazent. "So they’re actually not peaceful at all, then. I suppose that makes sense since I was told they would exterminate if I even set foot in East Genora."

"That is true," she admitted. "Do not wander anywhere near the eastern side of the continent."

"Has any of the aforentioned cultural enforcent actually taken place?" Rui raised an eyebrow.

"It has," she replied. "However, because elves are much weaker off the continent than we are here, many of their attempts have even failed. However, they have succeeded as well. There are islands in the domain of influence of Eastern Genora containing hybrids that don’t follow the Nature Path. The East Genoran elves have annexed that land and have colonized the local population, forcing them to live in nature as we do."

"...I see," Rui replied as he got so important intelligence. "Well, it’s not really much of a threat for larger and more powerful civilizations, I suppose. But still, it is a crucial piece of knowledge to have."
