"The hope that I harbor currently is that the combination of hemosapien DNA and CHAs together will allow us to fight off the unfathomable power of the Evolutionary Army in the future," the Emperor of Harmony remarked. "It is our greatest bet, but it is impossible to say what the outco will be. We know that the first generation of neo-evolutionaries has already been born. We know that they are vastly superior to the previous generation in every fathomable manner. And that the strongest among them will astronomically dwarf everything we thought was strong. A race to interstellar space can also help aliorate that gap. It might be that the infinite power of the stars and endless resources that await us will be what is ultimately responsible for the future of human civilization."
There were many, many variables to try to account for.
Not only were there the neo-evolutionaries, blood children, CHAs, race to space, but there was also the race to Transcendence, which was a whole other can of worms that was difficult to fathom. What was especially endangering about it was the fact that it could completely derail all calculations that the Emperor of Harmony had made, which were beyond his calculations.
He simply had to hope for the best with Amare or Rui, as well as the other two candidates of human civilization.
Rui nodded. "I will try to pass on my technique so that perhaps you can replicate it with technology. It can help with creating wormholes that can get us to the stars in the distance. But for now, I will need to head back to Kiriket."
His pitch-black eyes lit up with a serious glint.
"I have a dragon to slay."
Emperor Rael’s expression grew more solemn at those words. "Have you made the necessary preparations?"
Rui gazed at his hand. "Not yet. I need to focus on refining my control over this new power and figure so stuff out. But it should be possible within the next five days."
"Do you need aid? Even with a mobilization advantage, the sheer gulf in the size of the two factions might be too difficult to overco very easily, Rui."
"It will be rough, but I don’t want to involve Martial Artists. The point is to avoid an intercontinental war."
"In that case, we could lend strategic support."
Rui shook his head. "Save it. We will need it in the coming tis. I have confidence that I can succeed in my mission."
"...Very well then, just make sure that you don’t go too far in pushing yourself," the Emperor of Harmony warned his son. "We need you alive, more than anything. If it doesn’t work out, feel free to tap out and escape. The consequences the therianthropes face are none of your business."
Rui felt that would be betraying the trust that Lord Vakratunda had graciously put in him, but he decided to agree to the condition at face value.
"Well, I should get back before I need to rest." Rui nodded to his father. "It was a good talk."
"Good luck, my son, and goodbye."
Rui activated his Worm Step technique after bidding goodbye to his father, warping the very fabric of space to its very limit as he tried to zone in on not just the Continent of Kiriket, but specifically the nation of Minala, which was the only place he could be safe in without being caught.

He disappeared, leaving the Emperor of Harmony to his own devices, before reappearing in a familiar, but distant land.

The afternoon Sun made him heave a sigh of relief.
He was in the right tizone.
Then there was a familiar scent in the air that he attributed to the territory of the Gajanan Clan, as well as terrain and forest relatively unique to them.
He had returned to where he had started off from.
That was good; it would have been really disastrous if he couldn’t find a way back to the continent with his teleportation.
"I need to start refining this thod a bit more," Rui murmured. "It can’t take one minute to teleport using the negatron. That’s a bit too much. I highly doubt the Dragon Emperor will allow to hold him for that long without bombarding with imnse destruction that would make it impossible for to teleport."
It needed to be quicker; otherwise, the elent of surprise would be lost.
Of course, Rui could also use other ans to montarily incapacitate the Dragon Emperor. For example, if he teleported to him and then used the Gu and hypnosis combined to incapacitate him, catching him off-guard, then it was entirely possible that the even this mighty being would be completely drowned in these attacks, giving Rui the opportunity to teleport him away from the Continent of Kiriket so that he could have a one-on-one battle with the Dragon Emperor and find himself.
Over the next five days, Rui would need to finalize all the plans that he had made for the Dragon Emperor ambush over the past three months, since the Hlakaschken Trade Empire. He had gotten all the information he needed, he had all the tools at his disposal, and he had the allies who would aid him in the conflict.
Now, it was just a matter of utilizing all these variables to create a highly precise and detailed series of actions that would bring about the outcos that he sought.
He sat down right then and there as he began ditating, activating the Eye of Prophecy to refine all the variables and get rid of all glaring faults with his plan. While the sheer scale of what he was about to pull off proved to be rather heavy even for the Eye of Prophecy, it was worth it to expend all that energy to make sure that he got everything right. He just needed to recover in the five days before the actual ambush took place while the Gajanan Clan finished mobilization preparations.
