Those words left Rui stunned. "Countless other planets may be experiencing the sa gravitational anomaly that Gaia is, really?"

Emperor Rael nodded. "This increases the drive for outer space, because it ans that there are countless other resources out there that are waiting for us in the universe. His research caused a bombshell to explode not just within the scientific community but also within the political sphere from those who evaluated the ROI from any space ventures. If there truly is a titanic amount of negatron matter in places across the entire universe, then the return on investnt is truly enormous."

Rui’s expression loosened as his eyes wandered in thought. "...Is Gaia truly not unique?"

It was a shocking notion, but if that was the case, then it ant that the very fundantal character of the universe was very different from anything that he had ever imagined. What was strange, however, was that his understanding of physics was still sohow very relevant to the universe, and yet it was so exotic and beyond fathoming.

It made him wonder if this was a different universe from the one that Earth was in. Exotic matter was rely hypothesized to exist in the universe when he was alive on Earth, as had negatron matter. No one had ever found it or discovered any clues to it.

The only gravitational anomalies that he had ever heard of were the well-known dark matter gravitational anomaly with the spin of galaxies that did not add up with the mass.

Perhaps there was another such gravitational anomaly that simply hadn’t been noticed due to insufficient resolution in the space telescope technology of Earth.

’There is also another possibility.’

The simple fact of the matter was that the light that ca from highly distant planets conveyed extrely outdated information. Even light from the closest star was at least 4.2 years old and outdated. Light from older stars across the galaxy was centuries, millennia, and even millions of years old and outdated.

The Negatron Core Theory that the Esoterist had postulated stated that the amount of negatron matter within the planet must have increased greatly with ti.

If a similar phenonon had occurred throughout the universe, then it would an that it would take ti for light traveling across the universe to convey these changes to the rest of the universe. Given that the Esoterist speculated that these changes in Gaia had taken one hundred and eighty-seven thousand years, it was possible that the astronomy community back on Earth had simply not seen it due to the fact that the light had yet to reach it.

It was possible that the astronomy community in Gaia had begun receiving light from these changes and thus could now observe the gravitational changes that were anomalous, with the Astromind being the first to docunt and publish his findings.

If that was the case, then it ant that the actual state of these planets was probably much, much more different than anything that they could observe due to how outdated the information that the light conveyed was.

"This..." Rui murmured with a strange tone of voice. "This might an that things have already escalated elsewhere in the universe."

It was possible that the negatron matter within the cores of countless planets in the universe, assuming the Astronmind’s hypothesis has so rit to it, had gotten so massive that they would cause the repelling force to exceed gravity and then destroy the planet in such a manner.

"It might actually be the case that draining negatron matter might be good for us, but perhaps the mining thod that we are going about still has too many risks," Rui muttered, deep in thought. "We will need to do a lot of research on the Negatron Core Hypothesis of the Esoterist."

Emperor Rael nodded. "True. However, that is one of the troubling parts of all of this; trying to investigate sothing at the very center of Gaia. It is an extrely difficult and hostile way to go about it. We don’t have the technology to dig deep into the core of the planet. Not even invintium can withstand the intensely powerful pressure at the very epicenter of the core."

Rui nodded.

Gaia was a trendously massive planet, so much so that it would have beco a star if not for the negatron core. Most likely, the pressure at the center of the planet would instantly kill even Rui.

Teleporting there haphazardly wasn’t even plausible.

"For now, environntal preservation is all I’m pushing for," Emperor Rael remarked.

"But how can you possibly get people on board with such a thing, given how precious this resource is?" Rui asked with a hopeless tone. "It doesn’t even seem remotely plausible."

Emperor Rael smiled. "There is a way. Once all six powerhouses have gotten a massive advantage in negatron matter compared to everybody else, the incentives change. Now, the six, or seven now, powerhouses gain their negatron matter; they will no longer have an incentive to keep the vents open. Closing them allows them to ensure that they retain a massive advantage in negatron mining compared to the rest of the world. The more negatron matter is mined by everybody, the smaller the relative gap between everybody becos. The proportional excess reduces as the static difference remains relatively constant with the supply of negatron matter eventually flooding the markets. It diminishes the advantage of the most powerful nations. There will co a crucial point where all seven powerhouses have enough negatron matter to travel to the stars back and forth rather effortlessly, and where their dominance in negatron supply over the other nations is extrely high. That is the mont to push a collective agenda to halt all negatron mining."

Rui’s expression lit up with a sense of optimism. "That sounds quite possible. And we stand to benefit strongly as well. We get to remain in the lead when it cos to negatron mining."

The Emperor of Harmony nodded. "But it is not enough for us to just have a lead, I’m afraid. We need to have a dominant lead in negatron matter, Rui. After all, we don’t have the energy supply that our allies and enemies have."
