"We have received a progress report from Project Interstellar from the National Space Organization," She began, uncaring for what he was doing. "According to them, they have established the tiline for the Race to the Stars. By the end of the year, they intend to have stably achieved transit outer space travel, including manned missions, as well as launching space infrastructure revolving around our continent over the next two years, followed by three years of preparation for interstellar travel using negatron world bridge technology."
"Oh?" Rui raised an eyebrow with a hint of enthusiasm. "That sounds good. We're glad they have clarity for the Race to the Stars."
Five years was all he needed to wait for their bid in the Race to the Stars to comnce. With their surplus of negatron matter, they could easily achieve the kind of negatron wormhole needed to transport massive space ships, space mining stations, space logistical infrastructure, energy infrastructure, and the countless other things they would need in order to harness resources from different stars and planets. It was a literal race to the stars that decided who would get to the lion's share of resources.
"Although that is a race that we are probably going to win since we control all negatron matter."
"About that, we have actually received so information that this may no longer be the case," she said with a serious tone. "According to the Panamic Intelligence Organization, we have detected extraordinarily intense and concentrated seismic activity in the six continents that surround us in the true world."
She pressed the communicator, allowing it to project a three-dinsional holograph midair of Gaia as a planet. The seven continents featured several red dots close to the center of the continents.
"We believe that the major power blocs in the world have begun attempting to reach negatron matter through so other ans," she began with a serious tone. "It appears that even though you have been sowhat generous with our tested and proven allies regarding negatron matter, none of them are happy with the sheer amount of leverage that has given to you over them. They are attempting to create alternate channels to the negatron core hypothesized to exist at the center of Gaia."
"Hah, good luck with that," Rui scoffed lightly. "The only reason that negatron matter erged from the depths of the shattered ocean floor of the Great Void Ocean is that that sa depth brings it much closer to the core than any other spot in the world. The Great Void Ocean is also the only natural pressure and cooling system for the lava that previously erged from the depths of the ocean, although that has caused acute global warming around the world, too."
Right now, the elves, therianthropes, and even the Panamans rely on high technology to absorb the heat as much as possible to try to minimize the impacts on the climate, but it is not possible to affect everything.
"It appears that they are intent on trying, no matter what," Secretary Claris remarked. "Of course, those who are trying are also aware of the risks and the many complications, so they will not be foolish about it. They are aware that if sothing goes wrong, creating a massive life-wiping volcanic eruption on their continent, they will be the ones to suffer more than anybody else."
"We're glad to hear that," Rui remarked knowingly. "We'll use prophecy to keep an eye on all of their projects."
His ethereal eyes sharpened. "Now that Ria is born, I can't allow any damage to co to this world. I will keep a sharp eye out for the future, surrounding these matters, and attempt to stop it if it is destined to go out of hand."
"Very well, Your Majesty." She nodded. "Another thing that I wish to report is that we have received an intel report from the Panamic Intelligence Organization that our civilization is being infiltrated by hostile foreign entities attempting to establish a covert base of operations ant to conduct covert sabotage operations to destabilize our civilization. The most likely suspect is—"
"NOVA." Rui cut her off with an unsurprised expression. "This has NOVA written all over it. This must also be why there was a surprising amount of hostility against the Void Order regi; it was not organic. It must be her new strategy to bring about the fall of our civilization. What a pain in the ass. Create a new task force or even organization to deal with this, throw in like a trillion ruels into every year for funding. Trust , foreign interference into our interweb can completely destabilize our civilization if we don't nip this in the bud."
He borrowed from the state of affairs of his first life. "That is prudent, Your Majesty. I will go about creating an organization ant to crack down on foreign interference."
"Use the Silas Clan as well; they'll be of great help in rooting out these bastards."
"Understood, Your Majesty. Moving on to our next report…"
She pressed another button on her communicator, featuring grainy images from long-range surveillance and satellites. It was a blurred image of a facility in East Moridia, the region of the continent occupied by the Evolutionary Army.
"Although their anti-surveillance technology has impeded clarity, we have captured images of what we believe to be special child-rearing camps within Army territory where the Generation of Miracles is being raised," she continued with a serious tone. "The intelligence community has produced an assessnt report on their developnt and has concluded that the Evolutionary Army is no longer using its old protocols to raise children, where—"
"Where they brutally subject a large number of offspring to increasingly harsher conditions over a span of fifteen years to cull the weak and refine the strong?" Rui raised an eyebrow with an expression of disdain. Secretary Claris wasn't surprised that Rui was aware of all of that. It was, in fact, his intelligence on the Evolutionary Army procured through Anthea's mories that helped them gain deep insights and intel on their enemies.
"It appears that they have chosen a less wasteful approach to raising their children, subjecting them to harsh conditions nonetheless, but also more holistic social developnt, and one that has a lower mortality rate, since each offspring of the late Supre Commander Anthea is regarded as a strategic asset."
"It's no different from how we treat the blood children, if only harsher," Rui remarked. "Well, there's nothing that we can do now except be prepared for when all of them grow up. The rising number of Martial Sages, along with the other asures that we have prepared, will be enough. Still, keep updated if we see particularly alarming patterns. It might be that they're much stronger than we expected, in which case we will need to make adequate preparations."
"Yes, Your Majesty. Up next is…"
