Now reading: Chapter 4127 Reverse-Engineering the Seed from The Martial Unity, a Action novel by LordStreak.

While many powers and entities in the world rushed to comnce their ventures into the stars, and the very flow of capital through civilization rapidly shifted, Rui had already moved on.

"What do you think?"

In a secure room in the analytics division of the Panamic Space Organization, Rui found himself standing behind the Divine Doctor and a young woman. The latter squinted her eyebrows, a pair of thick glasses sat on her nose as she studied a three-dinsional hologram with a curious expression. It was a three-dinsional hologram of the gargantian seed.

"Fascinating," the young lady remarked with a tone of great interest. "To think that the thod of reproduction of a conscious planetary species would involve information stored in an abstract equation encoded in the very existence of the seed."

She turned towards Rui with an impressed expression. "I must say, Your Majesty, I'm truly impressed you noticed the equation at all."

"More importantly, what do you think about it? Do you think we can harness this technology for Gaia?" Rui asked with an intrigued tone. "Given that the gargantians have proliferated across an entire star strand, according to the laminars, we know that they must have extrely high fertility. Making their proliferation of new worlds much greater than any of our terraforming technology, can it be reverse-engineered?"

The young lady was among the right people to ask this of, along with the Divine Doctor, for she was among the new generation of immortal sages that Rui had created in the Kandrian Empire. She was the Informationalist, a specialist in information theory. She shared a few overlaps with the Beggar Sage, but the Beggar Sage was more concerned with civilizational applications of the theory, while the Informationalist cared more about pure theory.

Rui had sought an expert on information from the very mont he recognized its importance as a Martial Sage many years ago.

"Hm, I cannot say whether or not it can be reverse-engineered, Your Majesty," she admitted. "It's not my field of expertise. However, if you're asking whether a similar life equation can be prepared for Gaia, then…"

She turned towards him with a pointed gaze. "It certainly should be possible, especially with your help, Your Majesty. A life equation is just an algorithm of information that allows one to recreate the information of Gaia."

Rui's ethereal eyes lit up with enthusiasm. "Then get started on the project imdiately, you'll get all the help you need from and others."

"It will take ti, Your Majesty; this is not the kind of thing that can be done quickly or imdiately."

"You will have a substantial portion of the manifold entirely to yourself," Rui promised. "And you will have access to all the resources you need."

He turned towards the Divine Doctor knowingly. "Do you think you can help Gaia reproduce if you are provided with a life equation of hers?"

"This kind of biology, if it can even be called that, is outside of my specialty." He shook his head. "However, if I work together with the Esoterist and the Namgung Dynasty, I'm sure that we will be able to create our own kind of Gaian Seed that, when implanted into another planet, rapidly terraforms that planet into a Gaian offspring."

"Good." Rui nodded with a serious expression. "You get access to the manifold as well. Whatever you do, get a working, functioning Gaian seed in a year."

That ant that they had fourteen years in the manifold, which was certainly a substantial amount of ti for them. Rui turned back towards the three-dinsional hologram of the scan of the gargantian seed with a deep, knowing gaze. "This is the key to the future. This is the key to conquering ten thousand stars in ten years."

That was what everything boiled down to for Rui. To expand across the cosmos at an accelerating pace. "We don't have the technological ans to do so without this asure."

He didn't just want to control star systems, he wanted people to terraform planets and create a new civilization upon them. After all, the more people they had, the more pathwalkers they would produce, the stronger an army they would have protecting them. The net powerful of human civilization would increase astronomically the more people there were to protect. He couldn't even imagine just how many Martial Sages there would be in the future from just the sheer increase in the scope of population and the supply of Martial Artists.

"This life equation technology is also highly important beyond just allowing us to accelerate our conquest of the stars," Rui continued with a knowing tone of voice. "I also want to ensure that the Paths of future generations are not disrupted by genetic adaptation to a drastically new environnt."

After all, the Paths they had were a consequence of informational resonance in all dinsions of each species. However, that informational resonance was fleeting, proven by the fact that other intelligent alien species did not have it. Given that a species was constantly undergoing changes to its genetic makeup over each generation, Rui rightfully feared that future generations would be so genetically different in different environnts that the informational overlap and resonance would be disrupted.

And since the environnt was the biggest driver of evolution, he needed to reverse engineer this technology to create the sa environnt so that their evolutions would not take them away from the informational resonance.

BZZZT BZZZT

He glanced at his buzzing commpad knowingly. "Sothing has co up, I'll check on you guys later. Get started imdiately."

WHOOSH

Just like that, he teleported away.

He teleported right into a eting room with the highest governnt officials seated around a large table, waiting for him.

"Sorry for being late," he smiled at the highest officials within the Kandrian Empire governnt. "I was busy with so urgent matters. I hope I haven't kept you all waiting for too long."

He imdiately took his seat at the head of the table, leaning forward with steepled hands.

"Alright, what's the agenda for this eting?"
