Ria and Runark headed out to complete the rest of their shopping spree, getting the necessary gadgets and gear. Things like healing potions, stamina potions, and so on and so forth, as well as enough somnexyl pills so that they could regulate their sleep if they got into prolonged operations. The rest, they knew, would be provided by the Blood Humanist Society for the operation.

"Ahhhhh…" Ria heaved a satisfied sigh. "We shopped so hard. I can imagine how red in the face Aunt Arastia is."

They were both wearing their respective exo-Martial suits, since it was easier to wear than it lug it around, while the rest of their shopped products sat on a belt fitted at their waists, leaving their hands free.

They sauntered through City Stormfront as they enjoyed the darkened red sky. Around them were nurous buildings that brightly illuminated their environnt, cutting against the darkness of the sky. The noise of chatter and footsteps hung all around them as nurous pathwalkers and adventurers shopped for similar products, for similar reasons. Even as Ria and Runark walked through City Stormfront, they began drawing attention from pathwalkers around them who raised eyebrows as they walked past the duo, particularly at the bluish silver layer that covered Ria's body. The more tech-savvy people recognized it on the spot, of course.

"Is that the Water Integunt armor?!" One Martial Master exclaid as he walked past them, turning around to point at her emphatically. "Damn, lucky wench! Did you buy that with your father's money?!"

"No, I bought it with my aunt's money," she flipped the middle finger at him with a derisive expression. "Don't be jealous just because you don't have an all-powerful aunt, bitch."

The Martial Master paused, glaring at her. "What the fuck did you say?"

He possessed a burly body, one that towered over the others around him, wearing a more ordinary exo-Martial suit that offered virtually no assistance to the user. It certainly paled in comparison to the exo-Martial suits that the two young Martial Masters had just bought.

Around him were several more Martial Masters who walked to his side, making them seem even more intimidating.

"Ria…" Runark urged her to go along with him, but she simply turned around, stepping forward.

Her amber eyes were fiercely unapologetic.

"You heard ."

"This damn wench…" the man laughed even as anger glinted in his eyes. "I'll give you one chance to offer—"

"Or else what?" she yawned. "You're going to try to attack ? Like a bunch of bitches?"

The man's dark eyes sharpened. "You're courting death, wench."

A crowd began forming around them in anticipation of so public entertainnt. As a planet in the frontier and a city filled with adventurers, there were simply too many crude individuals packed together in a small space, relatively speaking, for there not to be a constant supply of public entertainnt across the city.

Ria simply smiled with lazy confidence as she sized up the Martial Masters that began approaching her. In her mind, she could already see the lines of dominoes lined up neatly for her to push.

Now, all she needed was plausible deniability and the self-defense excuse. "If you're not going to do anything, then I'm leaving," she huffed. "I've never such cowardly, pathetic, useless n in my life."

Her words caused so laughter to erge from the crowds around them, enraging the man before her. His fists balled, swinging towards Ria ferociously. "Don't bla for this."

Then, the world shifted.

It spun upside down.

BOOM!

A heavy impact blasted his back, leaving him immobile with pain as the ground reverberated with vibrations. The crowd froze as they watched with a stunned expression how she effortlessly demolished her opponent in the blink of an eye. "Damn bitch!" The other n rushed towards her. And yet, what followed was perhaps the cleanest takedown of an outnumbering charging pathwalker force that the crowd had perhaps ever seen.

Her movents were light and graceful, exerting force at just the right ti and place, as if pushing so snow off the top of a mountain to cause an avalanche.

It was over in the blink of an eye.

THUD THUD THUD They collapsed to the ground, groaning as they struggled to move, glaring at her.

"Don't even dare activate your Realms," she told them with a frosty tone. "I will kill you if you try."

Her words sent chills across their skin.

They could tell that they would beat her even if they activated their Martial Minds. Anybody who could so easily dismantle them at base would not lose once they each activated their realms.

She huffed as they slowly got up, walking away from her with grimacing expressions, before turning around towards Runark, who simply heaved an exasperated sigh. "Ria… You're supposed to maintain a low profile."

"h, this is the frontier," she dismissed his entirely reasonable concern. "More importantly, we finished all our shopping, but there's still so ti before our rendezvous with the hemosapiens."

She turned towards him with an enthusiastic expression. "What should we do?"

"Hmmm…" Runark pondered as the two of them quickly got away from the location. "…Do you want to watch a movie?"

She frowned at him. "Surely there's sothing more interesting to do on this planet."

"Well, what do you have in mind?"

She pondered the question before ultimately shrugging. "Fine. Movies it is."

The two of them moved to the entertainnt sector of the city, filled with all forms of entertainnt, ranging from gambling to gladiator combat matches, and even more adult forms of entertainnt, which Ria promptly pulled Runark away from.

They eventually found themselves at a theater, browsing the many titles and posters plastered above the ticket counter. Most of the stories were set in a modern urban era and were of an upbeat, inspirational tone.

Though there were so that made Ria's eyes widen.

"The Tale of the Dawnbringer."

It featured the image of an actor who surprisingly did manage to resemble her father, aside from the translucence. The poster featured nurous characters who were people of the past and even the present.

"Hey, look, that's my dad!" Runark pointed to a green-haired man wielding daggers. "Let's watch this one!"

Ria considered the option before ultimately agreeing to. "Fine." She heaved a sigh.
