"He deceived ?" Da Bai was sent flying by a heavy punch from He Biao, his voice filled with disbelief.
He Biao jiggled the fat on his body and revealed a cold smile. "The treasure does exist."
"I knew it! How could he possibly deceive ?" Da Bai said, his expression one of relief.
"Aren’t you it? A Fire Qilin is indeed a great Treasure," He Biao said greedily.
Despite his unwillingness to believe it, the facts proved he had been deceived. He knew that when he returned, he would undoubtedly be laughed at again. He felt dejected and furious.
"It’s all your fault, you damn fat pig! Go to hell!"
The infuriated Da Bai spewed a stream of Samadhi Fire from his mouth.
The raging flas engulfed He Biao’s figure completely. A full quarter of an hour passed before Da Bai finally stopped, saying proudly, "Now you’ve turned into a roast suckling pig, haven’t you?"
Just as the words left his mouth, a vigorous figure delivered a flying kick that struck Da Bai’s stomach, sending him flying.
"Huh? What’s going on?" Yue ng, watching from below, voiced her surprise as she saw He Biao’s drastically changed appearance.
At this mont, He Biao was no longer covered in rolls of fat; instead, he had transford into a handso man, and his aura had strengthened considerably.
Just then, Li Kui returned with He Long, a bored expression on his face.
"Tell , what’s going on with your senior brother?" Chen Jiuge asked the trembling He Long.
He Long glanced down and imdiately replied, "This is our Sect’s at Buddha Cultivation Technique. Normally, one can transform Spiritual Power into fat and store it within the body. During battle, it can be consud all at once to achieve an exceedingly powerful physical body."
"An interesting Cultivation Technique. Then why are you so skinny?" Yue ng asked curiously.
He Long wasn’t actually very skinny, just a bit leaner than an average person. However, compared to He Biao before his transformation, the difference was indeed like night and day.
"Our master was the Loose Cultivator Fatty Thin Old Man. He only imparted a small part of this Cultivation Technique to us. When our master was injured, my senior brother murdered him, seizing the complete Cultivation Technique. I haven’t cultivated the full technique, so naturally, I don’t know this Magic Technique," He Long inford truthfully.
"So that’s how it is. He’s a real scumbag," Yue ng comnted disdainfully.
"Enough chit-chat. Li Kui, go down and help. If this takes too long, it’ll draw the attention of other Cultivators," Chen Jiuge commanded, then unleashed the "Sky Blue" spell, turning He Long to dust.
Da Bai felt he had truly hit a streak of bad luck. Not only had he been deceived, but now this fatty had transford, and it seed he couldn’t handle him imdiately.
After blocking a flying kick, he took a heavy punch to the back. The guy’s speed is too fast, and his strength isn’t weak. My own strongest Spiritual Fire doesn’t do much damage to him. Although it’s not to the point of being unable to fight, it will undoubtedly take a lot of ti. Should I transform into my true form? But wouldn’t that cause too much of a commotion?
Da Bai hesitated. If I transform into my true form, the entire Five-Colored Immortal City will know. Master and Yue ng will also find out I was deceived. I’d lose so much face!
In the mont of Da Bai’s hesitation, Li Kui, resembling a young man, appeared beside He Biao. He grabbed He Biao’s arm, slamd him left and right, and then stomped heavily on his face.
He Biao perished.
Da Bai, naturally recognizing Li Kui, looked sowhat awkwardly at He Biao twitching under Li Kui’s foot and tried to justify himself, "I just felt a bit itchy. His strength seed pretty good, so I let him give a massage. Haha."
"What a bluffer," Yue ng, who had followed, scoffed.
Chen Jiuge understood, though. Qilins might be Divine Beasts, but the strength of the Five Elents Qilin wasn’t in their physical body; rather, it lay in the Five Elents Power. Da Bai was naturally stronger in Fire Elent Techniques. However, since he’d been focusing on making money, most of his Fire Elent Magic was used for Artifact Refining, so its offensive power was indeed lacking.
After interrogating He Biao and finding no Treasures or other ambushes, Chen Jiuge sent him to the Western Heaven, hoping they weren’t prejudiced against fat people there.
Taking the downhearted Da Bai back to the Purple Inn, not even the scantily clad landlady could pique his interest.

Aside from the Immortal Clothes Pavilion, other things in the Five-Colored Immortal City were quite ordinary. Chen Jiuge rarely saw sea Spiritual Beasts, which was why he had stayed a few more days. Additionally, due to the recent mishap with the Tribulation Cultivator, he decided to visit the Immortal Clothes Pavilion. He planned to inquire about the Five-Colored Silkworm, and once he got the information, he could leave.
Lin Caixi looked at Chen Jiuge with a smile. "Esteed guest, what Vestnt robe would you like to purchase this ti?"
Chen Jiuge shook his head. "I was wondering, do you sell Five-Colored Silkworms?"
Upon hearing this, Lin Caixi’s expression imdiately turned cold. "Esteed guest, are you not aware that the Five-Colored Silkworm is the cornerstone of our Immortal Clothes Pavilion?"
"Not for sale? Then never mind." Chen Jiuge felt sowhat disappointed but didn’t insist. After all, the Five-Colored Silkworm, a strange insect, was beloved by Insect Masters; for a Beast Master, it wasn’t as valuable as so rare Spiritual Beasts.
After Chen Jiuge left, Lin Caixi complained with so discontent, "What kind of person was that? I thought business was here again, but he turned out to be another Cultivator with fanciful ideas."
"What’s wrong, Auntie? Who annoyed you again?" a gentle voice sounded from behind Lin Caixi.
"Oh, Mingyue, you’re back?" Lin Caixi said, surprised.
"Auntie, you haven’t said who upset you just now," Lin Mingyue asked curiously.
"It was just a Cultivator. He previously spent a lot of Spirit Stones on Vestnt robes, so I personally attended to him this ti. And yet, he actually asked for Five-Colored Silkworms! Doesn’t he realize this is the core industry of our Lin Family?" Lin Caixi was still sowhat speechless about this naive Chen Jiuge.
"I see. He must be a Sect Disciple on his first journey. Don’t worry too much about it, Auntie," Lin Mingyue comforted her.
