Chen Jiuge composed himself, his expression stern. "I know," he said, "but now isn’t the ti. Don’t rush."
Chen Jiuge naturally knew what Li Kui was referring to. However, right now, he and his group were simply too inexperienced. Take Huang Kui’s Spiritual Beasts from next door, for example: although they were inferior to Chen Jiuge’s own Spiritual Beasts in innate talent and Divine Skills, Huang Kui’s beasts were currently stronger in actual combat. This strength disparity was all due to being honed through countless battles. However, if his own Spiritual Beasts were given a century or so to mature, none of these issues would remain.
"Brother Jin, we’ve failed," the captain of the White Tiger Guards reported blankly, dragging his severed arm.
Jin Xiao reluctantly ceased his actions, his eyes fixated on the Insect Nest Queen before him. He was just a little bit short of success.
Just monts ago, Jin Xiao had severely wounded the Insect Nest Queen, but relentlessly attacking Insects had blocked his path, allowing her to escape. After devouring several of her own kind, her injuries began to heal. Coupled with Jin Xiao’s own severe depletion of Mana, they found themselves evenly matched.
The White Tiger Guards were next to suffer. Nearly ten thousand Insects sward them. Even though all the Guards were elite fighters, they lost dozens of n in re monts.
"Humans, you are no match for ! Relinquish the nearby Stars!" the Insect Nest Queen hissed, baring her sharp teeth.
"Hmph! You’re welco to try," Jin Xiao snorted coldly. He then boarded a Flying Boat with the remaining White Tiger Guards and departed.
It wasn’t until the Flying Boat was completely out of sight that the Insect Nest Queen suddenly spat out a mouthful of deep blue blood, uttering a unique language of the Insect Clan.
"Leave this place. Seek a new resource area."
Apparently, forcibly recovering strength by devouring her kin also required ti. However, Jin Xiao had pressed her so relentlessly that the Insect Nest Queen had no choice but to fight, which only aggravated her injuries. She could have retreated into the Insect Nest and drawn upon its power to unleash a devastating attack, enough to annihilate even formidable enemies. However, doing so would damage the Nest’s potential and hinder its future advancent. Naturally, the Insect Nest Queen wouldn’t commit such a short-sighted, foolish act. After all, if there was one thing the Infinite Star Sea had in abundance, it was Stars. If need be, they could simply relocate and plunder resources elsewhere. It was no great loss.
Jin Xiao had no idea that his rash actions had fortuitously caused the Insect Nest to relocate. He was now feeling guilty for the dozens of White Tiger Guards who had died because of his decision.
Having just returned to the Tiger Might Star without a chance to rest, Jin Xiao was inford that the Peak Master’s projection had descended to see him urgently.
Upon seeing Jin Xiao, Shu Yiming asked in surprise, "How did you do it?"
"Do what?" Jin Xiao replied, puzzled.
Shu Yiming stated with certainty, "Wasn’t the Insect Nest’s relocation your doing? No, that can’t be right... you’ve clearly just been through a major battle. Besides you, who else is a match for the Insect Nest Queen?"
Jin Xiao said in astonishnt, "The Insect Nest has left?"
He then recounted the previous battle.
"You were too reckless! Do you realize the Insect Nest Queen can draw upon the Insect Nest’s power to unleash strength that Cultivators of the sa level can rarely face alone?" Shu Yiming remarked with disapproval.
"Peak Master, Junior Brother Jin Xiao is unhard, and the Insect Nest has departed. This is a good outco," the old Immortal gently reminded from the side.
"Indeed." Shu Yiming recalled the important matter at hand. "Jin Xiao, inform the Cultivators stationed on every Star that the Insect Nest has left. This region currently has no other rival species. Those who are capable should expand our territory and search for new Stars. Anyone who finds and occupies a Star will receive thirty percent of its output for the next ten thousand years."
"Yes, Peak Master."
Looking at his Second Brother, the Tianyuan Pig, whose belly was noticeably larger, Chen Jiuge asked in surprise, "Pregnant already? Could the insect at have this kind of benefit?"
"This is the Procreation Elixir I developed specially for Tianyuan Pigs. It can increase their fertility tenfold!" Yue ng said, rolling her eyes.
Chen Jiuge stared at Yue ng in astonishnt. How long has it been? And she’s already developed a specialized Elixir for Tianyuan Pigs?
"Hmph, it’s not that difficult. The Sect’s Alchemy Masters probably look down on a relatively common Star Sea Spiritual Beast like the Tianyuan Pig, so they haven’t bothered researching it," Yue ng said. She wanted to sound proud, but in truth, such an Elixir wasn’t challenging for a true Alchemy Master.
No respectable Alchemy Master would bother concocting such a... ’vulgar’ elixir. Even if they did, they’d likely do it secretly for their own crossbreeding experints. However, for a rabbit, there was no such burden. After all, Yue ng was indeed just a rabbit.
"By the way, most of the Spiritual dicines for this Procreation Elixir co from the Heavenly Realm. The Green Bamboo Realm will need to allocate a dedicated dicine Field for ; otherwise, I won’t be able to refine much of this Elixir," Yue ng reminded him.
"No problem. Choose wherever you like," Chen Jiuge readily agreed, gazing fondly at the warm Procreation Elixir in his hand. This is truly a treasure!
Three days later, while Chen Jiuge was enthusiastically trying to find a mate for his Second Brother, he received a communication talisman from the Sect.
An official announcent from the Tiger Might Star, the core Star of the Lower Star Sea Third Zone, under the command of White Tiger Peak:
The Insect Nest has relocated. The Third Zone is now temporarily safe. All Cultivators are encouraged to seek out and claim other Stars. Cultivators who successfully occupy a Star will be entitled to thirty percent of its output for ten thousand years. The Sect will be responsible for all Arrays and defensive asures. Disciples are advised to proceed according to their capabilities.
Issued by: Shu Yiming, Peak Master of White Tiger Peak, and Jin Xiao, Commander of the Tiger Might Star, Third Zone.
"Jin Xiao?" Chen Jiuge murmured, looking at the last signatory with so surprise.
Chen Jiuge felt a headache coming on. The Insect Nest has moved? Then what about my future supply of insect at? That’s crucial feed for the rapid developnt of the Tianyuan Pigs!
