Lou Boxuan furrowed his brows, then promptly grabbed the Vajra Lock and brought it in front of him to examine it carefully. After a mont, his brows relaxed and he said, "Not bad, not bad. Although it’s a Holy Weapon naturally ford in the Lower Realm, which can’t compare to the Holy Weapons of the True Realm, having a solid foundation is good. Enhancing it a bit later won’t make it inferior to other Holy Weapons."
Feeling that a single promise might be too flimsy, Lou Boxuan thought for a mont and took out two glowing objects, revealing what lay inside.
A Flying Sword and a Wood Elent Divine Crystal.
"This Myriad Wood Flying Sword was sothing I used during my True Immortal days; it’s a Third Revolutions Immortal Artifact, enough to serve you until you reach the Heavenly Immortal stage."
"You practice the ’Green Emperor Scripture.’ Your Cultivation Technique is not bad and quite suitable, but your foundation is too weak. Try to absorb this Wood Elent Divine Crystal as much as you can, but don’t hastily attempt to break through stages; focus on solidifying your foundation."
"Thank you, Master." Chen Jiuge respectfully thanked him.
"Are these your Spiritual Beasts?" Lou Boxuan suddenly turned his gaze to Dabai and Yue ng, who were hiding behind Chen Jiuge.
"Yes, this is Dabai, and this is Yue ng." Chen Jiuge introduced them.
"A Fire Qilin and a Moon Rabbit, with a strong elixir aroma. It seems you’re quite close to becoming a First Revolutions Immortal Alchemist, very impressive. I do have quite a few Wood-elent Cultivation Techniques regarding Spiritual Beasts here. Let see which one suits you?"
After a short pause, Lou Boxuan said with a smile, "I found it, the ’Myriad Pills’ is quite suitable for you. There’s a small Secret Realm with a dicine field in the valley. In the future, if you need anything for alchemy, feel free to pick it yourself, but rember to replant."
Yue ng thanked him shyly, which made Dabai, watching from the side, anxious, with sparks flashing from its nostrils, eagerly looking at Lou Boxuan.
"Hehe, little guy, you should wait a bit longer for your Cultivation Technique."
"Hand the Vajra Lock; your Master’s elder is currently in seclusion and not suitable for seeing outsiders. Let first upgrade your Lifebound Magical Artifacts and find a Cultivation Technique for you." Lou Boxuan stood up and hesitated a bit before speaking again.
"Wen Wan, please help with handling Chen Jiuge’s Identity Token. As you’re now my disciple, Chen Jiuge, you can stay here. Except for this small courtyard, feel free to choose any other place to live."
"Okay."
.......
Lou Boxuan went to find Chen Jiuge’s Master’s elder, while Miao Pan and Wen Wan left, saying they were going to handle Chen Jiuge’s Identity Token.
Chen Jiuge chose a small courtyard facing the valley, not too far but not too close to Lou Boxuan’s residence, and tidied it up a bit.
"I wonder how Zhu Ying is doing? And those slaves I left in the Qingming Ancient Country, sigh, and the remaining unfound Spiritual Beasts, such a hassle!" Chen Jiuge sighed.
"Master, don’t worry. I heard during my ti in the Demon Domain that when Spiritual Beasts ascend, they only do so in the Demon Domain, so they should be alright." Yue ng said.
Dabai agreed, "Indeed, nothing to worry about. The Demon Domain is actually quite easy to talk to. Generally, for ascenders like us with decent bloodlines, there’s no life-threatening danger. At worst, we beco breeding machines or miners."
Hearing this, Chen Jiuge’s face darkened, "You think everyone’s like you, locked in a little black room for ten years?"
Dabai got angry and turned its back, showing it didn’t want to interact with Chen Jiuge.
Not bothering with the simple-minded Dabai, Chen Jiuge carefully inquired Yue ng, and after a while, got a rough understanding of the situation, feeling much more at ease.
Life isn’t easy for the Spiritual Beasts of the True Realm; the cultivation speed of Demon Beasts is slow, and the bloodline limitations make it difficult to break through to the true Great Power level. Although Demon Beasts have much stronger life force and physique than humans, and possess innate Divine Skills, the Immortal Artifacts and various Magic Techniques of the Human Clan counterbalance these advantages, so in a battle of the sa Realm, Demon Beasts are generally no match for humans, except for those Spirit Beasts with powerful bloodlines.
Chen Jiuge’s Spiritual Beasts are all of rare bloodlines, each exceptionally strong. So what Dabai says isn’t wrong; at most, they’d beco breeding machines or miners, but their lives do have so level of protection.
Before long, Wen Wan returned, bringing with her a blue-violet Token. The blue represents the Wood Vein, and the violet represents the identity of a Direct Disciple. Of course, according to the Five Elents Sect’s structure of Outer Sect, Inner Sect, and core, Chen Jiuge is now an Inner Sect Disciple.
Being a Direct Disciple implies that you have apprenticed under an Elder of at least Heavenly Immortal Cultivation and co with additional benefits.
The Token isn’t just a symbol of identity; it’s also a Storage Ring. Once you let your blood drop on it to acknowledge it, your Life Plate will also be manifested within the Five Elents Sect. If you were to fall, both the Token and the Life Plate would shatter together.
On his first day as a disciple, Chen Jiuge felt a bit constrained. With Lou Boxuan away, Chen Jiuge could only stay in the courtyard. Luckily, the Token contained the new disciples’ guidelines, which allowed Chen Jiuge to learn quite a bit about the internal workings of the Five Elents Sect.
Three days later, Lou Boxuan hadn’t yet returned, but Tian Yue and Qiu Ruo ca to visit.
Riding an Immortal Deer, a well-dressed Qiu Ruo, with watery eyes, continuously surveyed the surrounding environnt, exclaiming in surprise, "Is this really the residence of the Eight-direction Saint? It seems quite simple!"
Chen Jiuge’s mouth twitched at the words; this valley filled with high tier spiritual plants, along with many Spiritual Beasts with potent bloodlines, and even the rare Spiritual Fish in the pond—is this really plain?
Tian Yue agreed, "It’s indeed plain; it feels even worse than my cave mansion."
Chen Jiuge felt sowhat exhausted. So this is the True Realm; perhaps he was still too young.
"Senior brothers and sisters, what brings you here?" Chen Jiuge changed the subject.
Upon hearing this, Tian Yue’s face fell, "Junior brother, I’m here to ask for assistance."
"What’s the matter?" Chen Jiuge asked, a bit puzzled.
Qiu Ruo covered her mouth, chuckling, "Isn’t it still about that lion you bred for senior brother? That fellow is too arrogant in nature and quite powerful. Recently, it has injured several disciples with Earth Lineage, and senior brother has paid quite a bit of money."
Chen Jiuge felt a bit embarrassed upon hearing this, "My fault. I seem to have forgotten to tell senior brother that the lion likes flowers, especially those that are highly fragrant and beautiful."
"Flowers?" Tian Yue was dumbfounded.
"It’s like having a tiger at heart while sniffing roses gently, right?"
"But it’s a lion," Qiu Ruo retorted.
"Close enough, close enough," Chen Jiuge said vaguely.
"Alright, I’ll try that when I return. Besides this matter, I have another favor to ask," Tian Yue said as he took out a Storage Bag.
Gazing at the luxurious decoration on the Storage Bag, Chen Jiuge sowhat understood, "Breeding a Spiritual Beast?"
"Yes, after all, such a large lion can’t be ignored," Tian Yue admitted, a bit embarrassed.
Chen Jiuge hadn’t thought much of it; he had joined the Five Elents Sect intending to use the cultivation of Spiritual Beasts as a breakthrough, connecting with fellow Daoists, and then having others help him find Spiritual Beasts through this thod.
"Breeding Spiritual Beasts is no problem, but senior brother, friendship is one thing, but for others, I will charge for breeding Spiritual Beasts," Chen Jiuge elaborated.
"Naturally," Tian Yue nodded.
"It’s charged based on the required strength. The standard depends on the client’s requirent. Plus, if soone helps find my lost Spiritual Beast, I can use my full ability to breed a powerful Spiritual Beast for free, though they need to provide the breeding resources themselves."
Chen Jiuge hesitated a bit but chose not to finalize the charge scale; a flexible charge was better for raising prices.
After imprinting the lost Spiritual Beast’s images, bloodline, and nas onto a Sound Recording Stone, Chen Jiuge handed it to Tian Yue, reminding, "Senior brother, you have a wide network; I hope you can help spread the ssage widely."
Tian Yue patted his chest, "Such a little thing, leave it to . After all, junior brother, you aren’t lacking in reward."
"And , too, I can ask my family to help you search too!" Qiu Ruo said, not wanting to be left out.
"Thank you, thank you."
The three sat down for a casual chat. Tian Yue had to leave first due to so trivial ssages. As a young lady, Qiu Ruo didn’t stay much longer and left with Tian Yue.
After Tian Yue and Qiu Ruo had left, Dabai and Yue ng ca out from the small courtyard, "Master, is this really okay?"
Chen Jiuge sighed, "Without enough strength, finding it ourselves might an being gone halfway."
"I will strive to master Alchemy."
Dabai also shouted, "I will strive to master Artifact Refining!"
Yue ng sent him a disdainful glare and then went to study the Alchemy of the True Realm, ignoring Dabai’s loud claims.
Chen Jiuge patted Dabai’s little head, smiling brightly, "With your previous Artifact Refining skills, you barely count as a Fifth Rank Artifact Refiner in the True Realm; work hard, and when you beco an Immortal Artifact Master, then you’ll be able to help."
Left alone, Dabai muttered softly, "What’s so great about it? It’s just an Immortal Artifact. Just wait; I’m a Fire Qilin after all!"
