Joining the Heavenly Gate is not sothing that can be accomplished with rely a verbal agreent.
There are still a series of complex steps involved, and although these steps aren't binding, they are quite cumberso.
The two figures shrouded in Night Clothes walked through the dark corridor, and one of them suddenly said, "This is the nearest Heavenly Gate outpost."
"The person in charge here is Jiuying. Her cultivation is also at the Daluo level. Since you've agreed to join the Heavenly Gate, according to its rules, you are now under Jiuying."
"Jiuying, huh? I thought it was you," Chen Jiuge said with so surprise.
"Jiuying is my younger sister, there's no real difference." Shuibing chuckled softly.
As they erged from the dark corridor, the scene before them made Chen Jiuge's eyes light up.
An endless plain stretched before them, with low wild grass bending gently under the breeze. The joyful cries of Spiritual Beasts reached them from afar, occasionally interspersed with the silvery laughter of children.
Most surprisingly, there was a woman who looked exactly like Shuibing. Could this be Jiuying?
"Sister?" Jiuying said with delight, jogging lightly toward them.
"Mm, this is the new mber. He'll be your subordinate from now on," Shuibing said kindly.
Jiuying sized up Chen Jiuge and waved dismissively, "Sister, you know I don't like handling this stuff."
"But it's your responsibility, and you can't avoid it," Shuibing said sternly.
"Alright, I got it," Jiuying replied sowhat grudgingly, then turned around and extended her fair little hand, introducing herself, "Jiuying, Daluo, head of this outpost, primarily responsible for caring for orphans and raising so Spiritual Beasts and Spirit Plants to provide resources for the organization."
"Logistics, right?"
"Chen Jiuge."
"You need to co up with a nickna," Shuibing reminded.
"A nickna, huh? How about Myriad Beasts!" Chen Jiuge said offhandedly.
"Myriad Beasts, it's a title that matches your abilities well. Let's go with Myriad Beasts," Shuibing agreed.
Seeing her sister's approval, Jiuying didn't hesitate. She pulled out a pen made of starlight, made a few strokes in the air, and finally turned it into a stream of light that disappeared into the sky.
Vaguely, Chen Jiuge felt as if he saw a gigantic roster filled with nas, but when he tried to look closely, it was unclear, igniting his curiosity.
"This is the Star Pen, crafted by an Artifact Refining Master from our organization. Although it doesn't have any offensive capability, it can record all mbers' nas excellently, and it helps to minimize exposure of the mbers."
Shuibing briefly explained and then took Chen Jiuge around this paradise on earth.
"These children have all endured tragic lives, most persecuted by those haughty Immortals. Though we aren't weak, we are a hidden organization. So, we only adopt those with exceptional talent."
"For the rest of the children, we're helpless, but we've arranged for so mortals to care for them."
"Your task, in fact, is very simple. Your Beast Taming Ability is strong, making you well-suited to cultivate Spiritual Beasts, to provide more resources for the organization."
"And the benefits? I assu you wouldn't have people working for nothing?" Chen Jiuge asked curiously.
"Benefits? All Divine Skills are taught free of charge!" Shuibing waved a hand, and countless golden little spheres appeared in front of Chen Jiuge.
"These Divine Skills are either condensed by us Daluo or obtained from so ancient ruins. As long as you can comprehend them, you can learn them at will, at no cost."
"Besides that, it's probably the rank advancent. Within the Heavenly Gate, rank is not based on cultivation but on contribution. Of course, the higher your cultivation, the more contribution you can make."
"Alright, I've got it."

Shuibing didn't stay long. Those days spent with Chen Jiuge in the Spiritual Beast Garden had left many matters piled up, and now that her goal had been achieved, it was ti to address so issues.
Jiuying led Chen Jiuge to a small river, both dipping their feet in and gently stirring the water.
"I used to love sitting by the river when I was little," Jiuying said with a smile on her face.
Looking at the face that was identical to Shuibing's yet felt more approachable and gentle, Chen Jiuge was montarily stunned and said a bit awkwardly, "Really, that's nice."
"But that great fire wiped everything away. Did you have family who died because of those Immortals too?"
Chen Jiuge wanted to say sothing but stopped; that wasn't really the case for him.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked. The leader said everyone has their own secrets." Jiuying suddenly grabbed Chen Jiuge's arm, leading him to a pasture.
"Look, this is an Elephant Bull. Despite its big and fierce appearance, it only eats grass. Plus, it's quite dumb. The best part is, just one of them can be eaten for a really long ti!" Jiuying said happily.
Chen Jiuge's Spiritual Sense as a Beast Taming Master told him that the Elephant Bull was also bred.
"It was bred by a Beast Master. I still rember his cold face and aloof deanor, but in the end, he sacrificed himself for the children too," Jiuying said a bit sadly.
"But it's okay, now that you're here, to be honest, the children and the organization siblings have been eating Elephant Bull at every day and are quite sick of it. If you could cultivate new Spiritual Beasts, that would be even better," Jiuying said, her eyes brimming with joy.
Chen Jiuge found that Jiuying is just a cheerful girl who loves to talk!
