Under the guidance of the Mutated Energy, the long Dan Dan Snake underwent a massive transformation.
"The resources consud are surprisingly little?" Chen Jiuge looked down at the remaining materials underfoot with so surprise.
The brilliance dissipated, revealing a ridiculously fat Dan Dan Snake before them.
Its round body resembled a giant oval, and if not for its slightly pointed tail and a head adorned with two horns, which barely resembled its forr self, Chen Jiuge might not have recognized it at all!
"Isn't this transformation a bit exaggerated? Moreover, why does it seem to have lost its Spiritual Wisdom?" Chen Jiuge stared in bewildernt at the drooling, blank-eyed Dan Dan Snake in front of him.
"Hiss"
A hiss louder than other snake species sounded, as the round-bodied Dan Dan Snake attempted a clumsy hunt towards Chen Jiuge.
Although its Cultivation was elevated to True Immortal, its speed was not much improved, and its power was quite ordinary, likely the lowest tier of True Immortal Realm combat strength.
"Crunch Crunch"
The Vajra Chains swiftly bound the Dan Dan Snake. Chen Jiuge hesitated for a mont, eventually deciding not to kill it outright but instead cut off a hundred-pound chunk of flesh from its plump body surface using his hand as a knife.
The pale green blood emitted a rich dicinal aroma, rely slling it invigorated the spirit.
"The effect of this flesh might not be inferior to so True Immortal Level Immortal Fruits!" Chen Jiuge exclaid in shock.
Chen Jiuge then noticed that the Dan Dan Snake had poor pain perception, as a hundred pounds of flesh ant little to its massive body, but the lack of any reaction was still sowhat exaggerated.
"Sizzle Sizzle"
The snake at roasted on the Stone Slab, continually releasing its enchanting aroma.
"What's this?" The elusive Jiuying suddenly appeared beside the Stone Slab, stuffing so snake at into her mouth with a small hand.
"Mmm, delicious!" Jiuying said with wide eyes, sowhat incredulous.
"It's not ready yet, wait a bit." Chen Jiuge quickly intervened as Jiuying reached for more.
"Alright, alright."
The snowy white snake at gradually turned golden, and the two of them eagerly tasted it.
"The texture is superb, the flavor is nice, it greatly enhances the absorption efficiency of Spiritual Energy, and can even strengthen the body to so extent, with a slight effect on the Divine Soul—the mutation's impact is quite powerful!" Chen Jiuge said, astonished.
This was just one mutation; what if it mutates twice, thrice? Wouldn't it directly compare to Immortal Fruits then!
It turns out Chen Jiuge was still underestimating it; the Dan Dan Snake beca a miraculous tonic after only one mutation, with the mysterious energy simply acting as a catalyst, and it seed more due to the loss of Spiritual Wisdom.
Whether it's humans, the Alien Race, or Spiritual Beasts, Spiritual Wisdom is a curious attribute, as creatures with it tend to possess an inherent Spiritual quality.
As for what Spirituality is, no one knows; it's only known that Spirituality is closely tied to the Heavenly Dao.
"So, this is the price for deliciousness?" Chen Jiuge felt both disappointed and relieved.
If it was truly possible to mutate an ordinary Spiritual Beast into sothing comparable to Immortal Elixirs, that would be too surreal, considering the Chaos Pearl isn't the only Supre Treasure of the True Realm; reaching this level is already just right.
Having affird his goal, Chen Jiuge no longer wasted ti and began extensively cultivating Dan Dan Snakes.
The other two selected Spiritual Beasts after mutation weren't as effective as the Dan Dan Snake, sparing him from spending too much effort on them.
The rotund Dan Dan Snakes quickly occupied most of the plains under Chen Jiuge's diligent efforts.
"Phew, thankfully, this creature eats grass, solving the feeding issue!" Chen Jiuge wiped off nonexistent sweat from his forehead.
"Myriad Beasts, Myriad Beasts, your reward is here!"
Jiuying's silvery voice rang out from not far away. Chen Jiuge turned to see Jiuying running over, waving her hands, followed by Shuibing.
"You're amazing, this is the leader's reward to you!" Jiuying said with a face full of envy.
"Appointing Myriad Beasts as the Camp Leader at Jiuying Station, and within a year, five hundred cultivators will be formally reassigned to Jiuying Station!"
"Personal Reward: Three Divine Skills insights, free choice!"
"Wow, that's generous!" Chen Jiuge said, sowhat shocked.
Because he was particularly valued among cultivators, Chen Jiuge was appointed as an Elite Disciple upon joining the Heavenly Gate, and the Dan Dan Snake's effectiveness, at least accelerating the cultivation of the grassroots disciples for the Heavenly Gate, was considerable; a promotion of one level in position made sense.

Shuibing had initially explained that while Heavenly Gate's Divine Skills were freely learnable, Divine Skills aren't cabbages that beco yours upon seeing them. Cultivating each Divine Skill is extrely difficult, and even the sa skill varies greatly between practitioners.
Only with Divine Skills insights does a skill count as complete.
"Congratulations, I didn't misjudge you after all!" Shuibing said with a faint smile.
"Thank you for the complint." Chen Jiuge said, collecting his smile.
"As for the Divine Skills, I recomnd prioritizing Water Moon Mirror Flower. Although it's challenging to cultivate, it's a great stealth skill, and should be very suitable for you." Shuibing continued, introducing the skills without caring about Chen Jiuge's attitude.
"No need to hold such grudges against ; Mo Ming and Bai Wei over at Star Moon City will take good care of you. In a month's ti, your senior brothers and sisters will arrive, and then you'll see if what I said is true."
