Five Elents Sect
Chen Jiuge followed Miao Panpan onto a Flying Boat. The day for the Miao family to receive the Ascended cultivators from the small world was nearing.
The two needed to return to the Miao family a few days in advance to prepare.
"Junior Chen, why do I feel like you have sothing on your mind?" Miao Panpan asked curiously.
Ever since they boarded the Flying Boat, Chen Jiuge's brow had been furrowed and hadn't relaxed.
After hesitating for a mont, Chen Jiuge finally decided to speak frankly with Miao Panpan.
After a long pause, Miao Panpan exclaid in disbelief, "So, Junior Brother, you used to be a cultivator in the Heavenly Realm?"
"Yes, Senior Sister, although it's a bit embarrassing, if any of the Ascended cultivators are my family or friends, I hope they can follow !" Chen Jiuge pleaded.
"Oh, this is not a problem at all. Leave this little matter to !" Miao Panpan said nonchalantly.
Chen Jiuge said with so embarrassnt, "Senior Sister, it might be a bit much as I know quite a few cultivators, but I can use Spiritual Beasts instead and guarantee your family won't suffer a loss!"
Miao Panpan put her arm around Chen Jiuge's shoulder and said, "No need to be so formal. With Aunt Wen here, no one in the family will oppose it!"
The Miao family is just a Golden Immortal Family, and there's only one Golden Immortal in the clan, not counting Aunt Wen, whose background is sowhat complex.
Moreover, Chen Jiuge has the backing of the Daluo Ancestor, so for such a small matter, the Miao family will not be too strict. At least, gaining the favor of soone with endless potential, about to breakthrough as a Three Flowers Heavenly Immortal, is far better than those Ascended cultivators!
Fengming Mountain is the ancestral land of the Miao family, which was a formidable hermit family in ancient tis. However, over ti, there are now only a few mbers of the Miao family left.
To say that Miao Panpan, known as the Third Saintess, currently holds the highest status in the Five Elents Sect among the Miao family is not an exaggeration. However, the title of Saintess in the Five Elents Sect is more symbolic and lacks actual powers.
Before them, a mountain resembling a Phoenix spreading its wings erged, causing Chen Jiuge to exclaim in awe, "What a magnificent view!"
Miao Panpan, in high spirits and full of joy, asked, "How about that, amazing, isn't it?"
The massive mountains ford the skeleton of a Phoenix, with nurous towering peaks acting as the Phoenix's feathers. The red leaves of the Spirit Plants added a touch of ethereal charm.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz"
The Flying Boat landed on the highest peak, where the Miao family mbers who had received the ssage in advance quickly ca forward to welco them.
"Welco back!"
Leading them was an elderly lady with an unfathomable aura, dressed in a colorful splendid robe.
A dragon-headed cane almost as tall as a person tapped the ground with a crisp sound as the elderly lady warmly said, "Child, you finally returned!"
Miao Panpan threw herself into the elder's arms, affectionately saying, "Grand Supre Grandmother, I missed you so much!"
The elder gently stroked Miao Panpan's hair with a kind face, comforting, "It's good that you're back, it's good that you're back!"
"And who might this be?" Miao Wu, who was standing a step behind, asked, looking at Chen Jiuge.
"This is my fellow sect Junior Brother, a disciple of Elder Lou and the grand-disciple of Elder Shen." Miao Panpan introduced.
"Elder Shen? Is that the one you ntioned before?" Miao Wu hesitated a bit.
"Fifth Uncle, it's fine, I'm no longer Elder Shen's disciple. By the sect's ranking, Chen Jiuge is now my Junior Brother!" Miao Panpan said nonchalantly.
However, everyone present clearly noticed the hint of disappointnt in her eyes.
"Enough, enough, let's not discuss this on such a joyous day!" Grand Supre Grandmother Miao Feng interrupted.
"Joyous?" Miao Panpan seed puzzled.
Receiving so Ascended disciples wouldn't exactly be considered a joyous occasion, right?
The remaining Miao family mbers revealed knowing smiles but didn't offer any explanation.
The Miao family's ancestral land looked more like a village, a rather crude one at that, with a few children in shorts gathered around chatting about sothing.
"Wait!"
As Chen Jiuge approached, he realized these children were holding all sorts of poisonous creatures.
"Blackwater Scorpion, Venom Frog, Centipede!"
"Is this really okay?" Chen Jiuge whispered to Miao Panpan, subtly pointing at the kids.
"Don't worry, it's fine. Our Miao family is famously known as the ho of Gu poison!" Miao Wu replied with a chuckle.
The Miao family, Gu poison, sohow it felt strangely familiar!
"Look at my little poison dragon!"
One child suddenly tossed the Centipede he held, and the child across from him wasn't scared at all, swatting the Centipede straight towards Chen Jiuge.
"Watch out!"
"It's alright!"
Chen Jiuge caught the Centipede with one hand, observing it squirming in his grasp, as the Chaos Pearl in his Sea of Consciousness lightly trembled, and the information about the Centipede rushed into Chen Jiuge's mind.
"It has mutated eight tis!"
"Its potential is so great?" Chen Jiuge's heart was shaken.
The number of mutations a Mutant Spiritual Beast can undergo is closely related to the potential of the Spiritual Beast itself. Only those with sufficient potential can undergo more mutations. Although it's challenging for these Spiritual Beasts to realize their potential under normal conditions, it is indeed intricately related.
"Oh no, they're in trouble."

The children imdiately dropped their poisonous creatures and scrambled away.
"Those little rascals!" Miao Wu said angrily, upset that even with guests in the village, they were still acting so unruly. Clearly, they needed a proper lesson!
"It's okay, I personally like Spiritual Beasts and Spiritual Insects too!" Chen Jiuge said with a smile.
"Fifth Uncle, rest assured, Junior Chen is the youngest Beast Taming Master in the sect. Junior Brother, show them your Spiritual Beast!" Miao Panpan patted Chen Jiuge on the shoulder.
